The hotel is well located. Breakfast was good and it was good as well to have the option to stay here with my little dog. The personnel were very kind and attentive.
In the booking it was mentioned that I was booking a room with garden view and it was a room with street view, not very nice by the way. When told to the receptionist she said it was a booking.com error. This should be then well specified in the room selection.
The hotel is it a little bit expensive, as the room was very small, twin beds were one next to the other, no space in between at all. The extra charges for the dog also a bit high. In other places for that price I get even a little bed for my dog (EUR25/night). Parking was also expensive (EUR20/night).
If coming back to Saint Malo, I would prefer to do a better research.
If you coming with your dog please be aware that they are not allowed in the beach during the high season (from April to September), then for many of us there is a non go to travel here with the doggies if they are not allowed to any beach.

Stayed in sea view family room. Fantastic views. Comfortable clean room. Quiet except occasional road noise with window open. Loved the location 10 minutes from walled city. Expansive views.
Very flat pillows. We were there 2 nights and in hindsight should have asked for more or other pillows. The family rooms was cute with a loft bedroom for the twin beds. The stairs are narrow so just a consideration that if you are not stable walker the stairs could be a challenge.

It is a bit pricy for the "deluxe" room, as the room itself is not very spacious.

The location of the hotel was excellent. It was facing a beautiful beach. A minute walk across the road and we were on the stunning Sillon Beach. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. A 15 minute walk along the seafront took us to the walled town, which was a haven of shops, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return to St. Malo next year.

Front desk staffs are not knowledgable enough and trained well. List of incidents:
1. After i booked i requested for a parking like 1-2 days in advance, they confirmed it with me, but on our arrival date, i received a message that they cannot provide me one. So we spent 30-40mins to look around where to park. We arrive at front desk and the kind lady reminded about the parking slot i booked, i showed her the message that i received and she was dumbstruck and just said that her colleague must have made a mistake.
2. On our second day sept 6-7 booking we transferred rooms very easily and everything is nice. We booked the biggest room. Teddy and another kind lady in the front desk was very helpful. We came back at the hotel around 8-830pm so we were asking if there was a restaurant or room service that they can provide. The guy in the front desk didn’t even responded to the bonsoir that i had said. He just said “no english” in a very rude manner like shooing us away, and he said “oooh” with his hand waving to call his colleague. Answering back to bonsoir is the minimum he could have done.
3. Breakfast on sept 7, we went down and to our surprise only one room is open the one with the garden view is close. The room that was open was so full and it feels stuffy inside. People were like forced to eat fast because they can see that people kept on coming but seats were limited. I approached the guy who is cleaning the table and putting covers. He told me no we will not open the other room because there is an event for a group of people, and just 30 secs after one guy opened the other room while us waited in a dirty table waiting to be cleaned, and he did saw me looking at him but i got no reaction at all.
Respect and customer service is the most important in this kind of industry. The cleaning lady is more polite and always greets with a smile. Compared to the 2 men that have a direct interaction with hotel guests.

The hotel is at the St Malo city end of the Sillon, a wide promenade above a beautiful sandy beach. It's easy to walk into the walled city, and to walk on the Sillon and beach. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a lot of choice of good quality food. We had a very large double bed, which was very comfortable. There is a bar in reception with plenty of room and good seating.

Very nice hotel, with easy access to the beach. Close to the historical town with lots of places to eat/drink. There is also a Carrefour close by and some boulangeries, if needed.
We needed to extend our stay by one night and the hotel charged us the fee from the prior nights (lower rate), even though the prices went up already, which is nice.
The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but we found plenty of street parking. We visited in March, so it was not an issue. I assume in the high season it might be more difficult to find free parking.

To be honest, I find it hard to understand why this hotel has such a high rating.
I’ll try to describe our stay as objectively as possible.
Let’s start with the positives:
1. We really liked the location – right on the seafront and within walking distance to the old town.
2. The views of the ocean and sunsets in the evening were stunning.
3. You can park your car nearby for free – it was fairly easy to find a parking spot.
4. We were greeted by a very friendly guy at the reception – I believe his name was Alexander – who explained everything.
5. Pets are allowed, which is a plus.
Now to the downsides:
1. The hotel is quite old and worn-out, with cheap renovations and furniture in the rooms.
2. The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable.
3. There was an unpleasant damp smell in the room.
4. We didn’t have hot water – I let the tap run for quite a while, but still ended up taking a rather cold shower in the morning. On the plus side, it was refreshing :)
5. The private parking lot is very small, fitting only 6–7 cars, so don’t count on leaving your car there. But as I mentioned, there are free street parking spots nearby.
6. The breakfast was incredibly bad. I thought food in France was delicious by default and that it’s hard to mess up good ingredients… But! The scrambled eggs seemed to be made from powdered egg mix and tasted like bland mush rather than real eggs. The pancakes were rubbery, and the fruit salad was floating in its own juice. To be fair – the coffee was good.
I genuinely do not recommend staying at this hotel. Check out other options nearby.

We loved the family room and the view out the window. Staff was friendly and it was a pleasant walk into the old town along the ocean.

View of the beach at a reasonable price. Great staff, almost all of whom speak English. Good breakfast included!
Tiny room, with no place to sit for the sunset. Cheap, thin towels. Quite far from the walls of the city.

It’s right across from the beach and has a sweet little courtyard to hang out in.
I booked it because I needed parking. Although they have a garage, it filled up, requiring me to street park. I had to park several blocks away and walk with my luggage to check in. A bit of a hassle.

It was so close to the beach! Wonderful view of the beach from our room! The electric kettle and little packet of instant coffee were a great substitute for the coffee machine. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly.
Although the room was comfortable it was a bit small. There was no refrigerator in the room.

The hotel is very nice. I understood parking was available but it was full. The area is very busy so street parking is limited .

Staff was really welcoming, the rooms are simple but confortable and a great value for money.
It is not located in the city center but the location and walk are amazing. The breakfast is also really good.
