Exceptional ocean facing central location. We had ocean facing room with killer views. The bathroom even had a port window (so cute). Imagine sleeping to the sound of ocean waves.
Hotel location is convenient to restaurants and Saint-Malo Intra-Muros (walled fortress with shops, cafes, and views). The reception staff were wonderful. We lucked out and found street parking right in front of the hotel. The hotel is located right on Sillon beach. The Tea Room/Restaurant has great view of ocean. Have Happy Hour or Tea break.
We had excellent dinner at nearby Moroccan Restaurant called LE Talamara which was few minutes away from the hotel.
The receptionist at night time check in was very nice and helpful. We arrived late around 10 pm - he arranged for dinner even the restaurant was already stopped taking orders for the night.
The staff at breakfast time could be bit more welcoming (even if busy). Even for buffet, one does expect the wait staff to come around and explain where tea and coffee is.

The facility is very nice. Staff was very helpful, and made the stay painless. The location is very good - right on the beach, and 1 - 1.5 km from old town St Malo. The facility includes an option for private parking. Book a beach view room if you can!
If you're driving, be sure to book the private parking in advance, as there are only limited spaces.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They have available parking for the cars at 15 Euros a day. The hotel is located in front of sea with great views! In the afternoon, you can swim or go for long walks. The staff are friendly and helpful
The breakfast menu is a bit limited. After breakfast, (between 10 - 12 noon) before the lunch service, if you order a coffee in the restaurant, you cannot sit inside by the window while having a coffee as the tables are reserved only for those who are having lunch. You can however, sit on a couch at the waiting area inside the restaurant, away from the window or you can take a table outside patio. When it is cold, or raining, or the waves are too high outside, you can sit inside at the waiting area but you can't really enjoy the view from there.

We got a beautiful room on the second day with an amazing terrace. We enjoyed the second day particularly. Personal was helpfull with the room change.
We reserved the most expensive room offered in Booking thinking it was special. The room was in the ground floor, two meters from the reception, on the right part. Very noisy until late (we heard a vacuum cleaner at 10:30, probably cleaning up the restaurant). We could listen all the conversations of the workers until late too. The terrace was not private at all: people passing by could look into our room. Room partly borders the breakfast/restaurant. We kept the curtains closed all the evening so that we did not go out to the terrace or enjoy the views.
We requested a change of room for the second night. The room for the second day was really nice and compensated somehow for the first day disappointment.
No wifi connection during our stay.
Car parking was 200 m from the hotel. However, driving there was easy.

The breakfast buffet was very varied - the kids enjoyed trying lots of different things - and served in a beautiful setting. Slightly inconvenient that there was no sink in the toilet in the family room (had to go downstairs to the main bathroom, which was next to the kids' sleeping area).

We paid €15 euros for ‘on site’ parking to find out it was across the road and down a few streets, so not on site. We also booked the family annex which again was across the road and in a random apartment block. If we had wanted breakfast we would have had to walk down the road in the rain to get to the hotel to enable us to have breakfast.

The worst thing was our experience at check-out. Our traveling companion did not realize that our payment for both rooms was already charged to my account. The desk clerk didn't bother to check and took a duplicate payment from him for his room. When i arrived at desk, realized the error, and spoke to the desk clerk, she said it was not possible to reverse the charge immediately and that they would refund him through some strange process. They never did and booking did not resolve. He had to go through his credit card.

Everything was a 1o, the only reason for a 9 was that no one responded on having a kettle and no one offered to help me with a dislocated shoulder with the luggage. The breakfast was delicious and run by such a lovely friendly staff. The room was filled with lovely views and very clean. The hotel is well situated with fabulous views of the beach. The rooms are on the small size but the bed is comfortable.
Our strong advice is that if you are coming off a Condor ferry then make sure that your transport is pre booked and confirmed. The hotel offered to arrange this but failed to do so with the result that we were stuck at the ferry terminal with no bus prepared to accept us, no taxis and the Condor Ferry folk saying that all taxis companies were not taking bookings. Advice was to walk to our hotel in the dark and rain with our luggage. Our newly found friend who was waiting for her privately booked taxi offered to drop us off, which was a great outcome, albeit a tad expensive. The staff at the hotel seemed to not care less, which was disappointing. We arranged a taxi with a woman at the St Malo Information Centre for our check out time and that worked fine.

Absolutely gorgeous views, especially if you booked sea view with terrace! Staff like Effie and others were absolutely amazing and made my day. Breakfast was pretty good and freshly made eggs. You can also easily walk to the old city.
Most of the staff was very friendly and welcoming with the exception of two; one young woman in the restaurant seemed like she was bothered I even existed and found her rather unnecessarily rude and aggressive in communication. An older woman at the front desk with short white-blonde hair was huffing and puffing when their restaurant was booked and I asked if there’s a nearby restaurant she recommends. Other than those two, everyone else went above and beyond and were very friendly. They welcomed you like family.

This is a quaint little boutique hotel on the beach. Our room was on the street side which wasn't bad as far as noise. Our room was very small but the bed was very comfortable, it took up almost the whole room. We were only there for one night so this was not bad. The breakfast was allot of pastries and some fruits and cereal, nothing hot. We really enjoyed the views of the ocean and beach. The staff were all friendly.
The only complaint would be the size of the room.

The fact that the hotel was literally on the promenade above a huge and gorgeous beach, and that having a room on the water side would have been a huge plus, but it was still a great experience.
