We already paid city tax through booking.com but then were charged again by the hotel.
Also it was advertised as parking being a part of your stay. But we were charged 30 euros after our stay.

It is in a very good location where you can walk everywhere in Strasbourg. There is a direct tram stop in front of it. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us with everything. The breakfast was very good. At the breakfast, I can't remember his name right now, but there was a gentleman who was very attentive and hardworking. I would like to thank him specially. The front staff, especially Carole, were very friendly and helpful. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the older section of the city. Beautiful furnishings, private bath, no smoking, quiet, and very clean. The front desk helped book reservations for dinners and provided a great map of the city to help us make the most of our trip. Carole, especially, asked us what we would like to experience in the city and offered great advice. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the fresh water and treats offered at the front desk. We were able to check our luggage and start exploring before our check-in time. We definitely will stay here again.
We reserved two rooms, upon arrival one room smelled very heavily of a perfumed air freshener. The odor had dispersed by morning but the next night after we returned from dinner we could smell sewer gasses coming from the bathroom. We ran water in the sink and shower, then flushed the toilet a couple of times. This seemed to help. The elevator is small so we split up our group to take our luggage upstairs. There was very little lighting in the room at night.

Only thing I would say is the lighting in the room sucks, there are loads of lamps and things everywhere but even when they are all on the room felt dark. It’s a newer modern room for European hotels.
For the price per night, which was over $400, it has basically almost no amenities. It doesn’t even have lotion. Lighting wasn’t good, there was only outlet by the desk to plug our chargers. Very inconvenient to not have others in the room. It also doesn’t have an iron, no slipper, not even a hot water boiler. Overall, not worth $400/night for the most basic minimum amenities.

I had a nice stay with my family in Diana dauphine hotel , the location was very good for us , a few minutes and we are inside the old city and cathedral, The tram station is nearby as well. . The room is big and comfortable, definitely you can get some noises if you are at the street side. The breakfast is pretty good compared to the price. It's a recommended hotel .

The attention to details were impressive. Staff super friendly and willing to make your stay a wonderful experience. They welcome you with a bottle of cremant, Christmas chocolate, pretzels and beautiful flowers. I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mostly pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, being very close to the city center, which made exploring the area super convenient. The hotel was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was also good.
However, the room was smaller than expected, which made it feel a bit cramped. Additionally, the parking garage was quite tight and challenging to navigate, especially for larger vehicles. The elevators were also very tight, barely fitting two people comfortably.

The location is convenient, with a supermarket downstairs and the city center only a short distance away.
Very disappointing service. On my first night, after washing my hair, I found that the hairdryer in the room was not working. I called the front desk, but the staff told me she didn’t have the authority to get another one. I explained that my hair was wet, did she expect me to just leave it like that? She didn’t even apologize and only said that they would replace it the next day when the housekeeping staff came to work. I’ve never heard of a hotel front desk that can’t provide a working hairdryer or replace one for a guest. Truly unacceptable service.

Parking was way too tight, even for my smaller-sized vehicle. The downhill slope to the garage is dangerous for cars — even if yours isn’t lower than average. Ours hit the ground despite driving extremely slowly. There’s also no room to turn your wheels, so you have only one possible position to drive down.
The nearby public parking is actually €2 cheaper than the hotel’s, so I would recommend using that instead.
Secondly, our room had only two working sockets in the bedroom and one in the bathroom, which made it impossible to charge multiple devices at the same time.

The hotel was lovely. It was a few blocks from both the Christmas Market (reason for my stay) and a tram stop to the train station. I loved the big "HOTEL" sign off the front. The lobby was tastefully decorated, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating - I arrived early so they stored my luggage for me while I went sight-seeing. The elevator was tiny - enough room for 1 person and their luggage, but that wasn't an issue for me. I was on the top floor and LOVED how the dormer window opened down - which was necessary since the room was overly warm and the temperature controls didn't seem to work to turn off the heat. Whatever, it was fine. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was small but perfectly arranged to make use of space. Also LOVED the heated towel warmer- what a treat!!! There was a minibar and snacks that I didn't take advantage of, but I did end up eating breakfast there - the typical buffet, perfect for my basic needs. Overall, it was truly a lovely stay, I would definitely recommend and happily stay there again.
Couldn't turn off the heat for some reason... but the dormer window opened so it was fine.

The kind staff
It’s a little bit old , poor lighting & too expensive comparing to its regular price in normal days.
In fact we stayed during the “marche de Noel” period, in the deluxe room .the price of 600€ per night for two persons, was unreasonable.
But if you choose another time to stay in , paying the regular price , it will be logical..

Lovely staff and great location right next to Strasbourg center. Breakfast was okay.
The rooms are small and so dark, that they give a really bad vibes. The room wasn’t perfectly clean, from what I could see in the darkness. Overall it felt more like a 3 star stay.
