It’s within walking distance of everything, every room is unique and you can store your bag if you arrive early.
It was a bit hot and even though it says it has air conditioning they don’t turn it on in May so if it’s unseasonably warm (like it was on the day I was there) it’s a little stuffy but you can open the wi does and luckily it cools down overnight!

Breakfast is delicious. The location is amazing — it is very close to the Esplanade campus and the city center. The building is nice and beautiful.
WiFi signal was terrible in my room. Also, I had to spend few nights before I figured out how to switch on the AC.

Location was great
Decor was tired and nowhere near as plush as it appeared in photos. Air con was noisy and remote didn’t always work. Floor gritty and laminate so not nice to walk on & noisy. Fleece blankets were dirty. Shelf in our room was coming away from wall with sheep ornaments on it that were resting/tilted against the wall as the shelf was wonky, so dangerous. Towels had holes in and were thin. Breakfast terrible value! No fresh fruit at all! Nothing warm/cooked. We only had it on one morning! Staff were rude to someone who wished to sit with us. I had to take my breakfast and drink and sit in reception with them! Such a pretty building but a very disappointing stay sadly.

The hotel is in a good location in the middle of the city with good bars and restaurants near by. The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable.
The chandelier in the room was a little low for me (I'm quite tall) and the shower was a bit cramped in the eaves of my room. These are small points, overall it was OK.

I liked the staff and their helpfulness. They made us feel at home.
Unfortunately a younger staff member, tall and dark hair (maybe new on the job?) made us feel not so welcome. I do not know if it was because of our clothing or what? We had been driving all day and were tired. He seemed a bit unsecure if we were your guests or to the albergo? But a crash course in who pays your salary, maybe a good thing.
It was a very small room and the cleaning was not that good for the price category of hotel. A dirty balcony and towards a hectic street and even if they had double windows you heard the traffic.

- Charming interior
- Really good location close to some of the most beautiful spots on the river Ill
- Friendly staff
- Do not believe the photos. Not all double rooms have a chair, a table, or a large bed. We got a room without table and chair first, but I needed both to work. We complained and got a better room with chair, table and more modern bathroom which was nice, but only a 140 bed. That's not a double bed!!!

Very good location. General style of the hotel was nice. Beds were really comfy. And it was quiet.
There was mold in the room - traces and patches of it everywhere in the bathroom, also on room windows and curtains. Absolutely nowhere to put things - table was tiny and full of all kinds of obligatory stuff; there was no suitcase rack and no space. Suitcase had to be on the floor, filling up a good portion of free floor space in the room. Also rather unfriendly welcome and attitude from the staff.

Location was good but that's about it.
The room was way too small. We didn't have any space to open our luggage other than on the bed itself.
For the price we paid we expected a bigger room and cleaner.
The hotel is also very dated.
The hotel reception did not always have an attendant who could speak English despite this being advertised.

The location is very convenient
The room was disappointingly small and felt quite old, with visible signs of wear. The bed was a major issue—both uncomfortable and squeaky, making restful sleep impossible. Given these shortcomings, the price felt unjustifiably high for the experience.

Quick 5 minute walk to the cathedral, a little farther to Petit France. Parking lot across the street. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Just off the riverfront. Staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations, tips, taxis, etc. Breakfast was good. Rooms were large. Beds were firm but comfortable. Clean and spacious. Drug store across the street anbd great Pâtisserie anround the corner a block anway. Away from the bustle of the Christmas markets, it was a nice break from the crowds. Quiet for sleep.
Towels were threadbare. Flimsy cups not good for hot drinks. Dated decor.

Very good location. Front desk staff were polite and professional. Room was clean and comfortable, though the bed (typical double = European twin beds attached) was 'sunken' in the middle. Room was warm (good heaters in bathroom and bedroom). Great water pressure and warm/hot water. Breakfast was good (meats/cheese/yogurts/hard boiled eggs/ juice/ coffee, etc), with a variety of breads (sweet and 'normal'). No warm items. Did not use the sauna so no information on that. I would definitely stay here again.
Unrelated to the hotel, but FYI, the parking in the garage across the street is 22€/24hrs. Breakfast is 13€/pp.
