Well located in a local vibrant area where you always find authentic restaurants and fresh food markets around. Easy access to the public transportation. Nice view on the rooftop. Very fresh and juicy tomatoes for the breakfast with nice local cheese and pastries. Interesting discovery in the neighbourhood.
We were “welcomed” by a horrible receptionist. I really resisted a lot to mention her name S… here which I well noted done. She didn’t bother to say hi while I greeted at first, and just asked for my passport. She was constantly talking to her colleague in Greek with a complaining attitude while I was simply asking a question. Until I said “sorry?”She replied patronisingly and rudely without even have eye contact. I don’t know if my nationality triggered her horrible attitude, as she was “smiley”to other European visitors before or after me. I’ve traveled to more than 30 countries and that was The most unpleasant check-in EVER.
However, her other colleagues from different shifts were very kind and helpful, full of hospitality spirit, such as Dimitra! And they facilitated my requests during my stay. Thank you so much.

Excellent location had everything we needed and roof top whilst bar not open was super be and you could easily relax up there with a drink from receptio. Breakfast was great choices were there and not ridiculous amounts getting wasted. Fab fruit and veg market directly opposite amazing olives to enjoy with wine on roof top
As a Brit did not realise the air conditioning was integrated but easily sorted we switched off true heating and opened the window slightly to cool down. BUT we went in February so winter in Greece hence heating still on easily sorted by the window etc.

The hotel was centrally located, just a 10-minute walk from Plaka. It was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in, with daily cleaning. The staff were very helpful, and the Acropolis view from the terrace was a highlight. Overall, excellent value for money.

Perfectly located in the city center of Athens between two of the most convient metro stations- Omonia and Monastiraki and also on walkable distance to the main sights. Near the hotel are plenty of restaurant, markets and everything you need for your stay. Great staff behavior, 24/7 there if you have questions or just need a good recommendation! The maid changed our towels and throwed out the trash every single day of our stay. Very tasty breakfast included in the price, with some local cuisine dishes. Last but not least, unique view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar which is only for quests of the hotel and you can go whenever you want!
On the same street where it is the hotel, are located big open markets and there are unpleasant smells on the street during the day.

Bathroom is really small. Hard to move. Location, turn right as you exit the hotel or you end up in a dodgey area right next door. Was a bit unsettling when we arrived. Food markets are right outside the front door also. Turning right leads you to the main road leading to the main shopping areas etc. To be honest, the hotel is on the outskirts of all the action.

The view and the breakfast
First of all, nobody tells you that the hotel is right in the central market, which can be inconvenient if people are uncomfortable around that kind of buzz and even smells... but the reason for my writing is that I don't know why the hotel thinks it's a good idea to have outside lighting that makes the inside of the room feel like it's the day at night with curtains that do not cover the light effectively. When we brought this up to the front desk, their answer was that we should close the curtains, and next time we would stay at the hotel, they would give us a room in the other side of the building where they don't have this issue. So make sure when you book to select a room that does not face the market Street.

This hotel is in a great location, just steps from the central market and close to the ancient agora. Tons of restaurants and shops in a real neighborhood so not just tourists around. It felt authentic and bustling. Hotel room had what was needed and the staff was helpful and friendly. Good value for the money and not a tourist trap.

This is a good budget hotel near the airport train station (Monastiraki) and for the price is a very good deal.
Unlike some of the other reviews, we didn't think the neighborhood was bad, just a littke run down. In fact, it is very lively and there were many restaurants and snack bars open quite late (we arrived at 23:00). And it was very easy to find the hotel at night due to the multicored lights outside.
Finally there are many sites in walking distance - Hadrian's Library, the Agora and a flea market.
And definitely worthwhile to pay a few extra euro and get the room with the Acropolis view.
Small rooms and bathrooms but... hey this is a budget hotel and so you can't have everything.

Nice and friendly staff. Clean hotel. Nice area. Nice view of the Acropolis. Really good olives at the market in front of the hotel ?. Close to metro station Monastiraki and all the attractions. Great restaurants in the proximity, just a few streets away. Breakfast was ok. Could have been better, but for the price I believe it was fair. I really recommend it. Go for it.

Centrally located with easy access to tourist attractions. The room was very comfortable and the front office staff polite and very helpful. The price of the room included a hot breakfast buffet. There are restaurants less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
