Right by the bigger chirch with blue dome. Our superior class room had a huge terasse with sunbeds and we could see the sunset right from there. Beautful view. They also have 2 sunset terasses. They also have small meals available with really affordable prices.
The pool area is not too big and at breakfast the sitting places are quite taken. Simple breakfast.

Our suite (#8) had a bedroom, living room, a room with cabinets and the refrigerator/kettle and a bathroom. It was very spacious and comfortable. It also had two doors - one to access the property exit easily (and a small terrace with a close view of the rooftop of the Church of the Panagia Akathistos Hymn) and the other to access the terrace and pool and reception. The large terrace felt like our own as it wasn’t near the other rooms. It also overlooked the other side of the island. There was a separate terrace on the other side of the property that overlooked the caldera complete with a blue dome. The Greek-style breakfast buffet was great. Reception was very nice and they greeted us with a refreshing glass of juice/(mimosa?) when we arrived. Loved that with 3 separate entrances to the property, we basically had a shortcut to the different sides of Oia town. They also allowed us to have a photographer come and take our pictures around the property. When we left, they had someone carry our bag out to the taxi.
Lots of steps to access our room and some of those steps were a tad high. But, this is as expected here so not a big deal.

We had a great spacious room with living room area, separate bedroom and a direct access to a sunset terrace! The location of the place is perfect - not along any crazy crowded street so it was quiet enough, yet just a stone's away from the main attractions, which allowed us quick and easy access to them before the crowds came.
The breakfast has a good spread and has variations daily. Reception service was helpful and gave us suggestions and tips on our queries.
The furnishing is a little dated but otherwise really no complaints at all.

The hotel complex was very central in the alleyways between the bus stop and the caldera edge. The hotel layout was such that it never felt crowded. staff were very helpful and informative. Rooms were air conditioned, cleaned daily with fresh towels provided daily. free pool towels were provided also. breakfast was leisurely and had a good choice. I would highly recommend this hotel
The sunbeds and umbrellas were fixed to the floor so we were unable to 'follow the shade' on very hot and sunny days. Maybe a hang over from covid social distancing regulations.

We love this place, it is as pretty as the pictures! Location is very good, close to bus station, right next to the Blue Dome Church, yet it is very quiet. Our room has a private terrace outlook the sunset and part of the caldera. So we can enjoy the beautiful Oia sunset without the crowd!
Breakfast by the pool is wonderful, they have a traditional Greek breakfast.
We arranged a taxi with Aethrio when we leave to the port, porter helped us with the luggage and the taxi driver was nice too.

Great value for money. The rooms were clean and all amenities avaiable. The breakfast was perfect traditional Greek breakfast with a mix of English. Swimming pool perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and they booked the tours for us for no extra cost.

Location right in Oia a bus shuttle from Fiera the Capital. The beautiful Cadeira Sea right near by with all the shops and restaurant. You will wee the most beautiful sunset from the roof top of this hotel. You will not have to fight the crowd. Just get your camera and all set.
The breakfast was excellent. However if I'm pressed to write something in this section would be the fruit selection for breakfast. But I think everything was fresh and delicious and the staff really went above their way to make it a wonderful experience overlooking the greek islands and pool. Just beautiful!!! Thank you! I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in Oia, Santorini, and it was a great experience. The location was amazing, with beautiful views of the sea and the famous Santorini sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were kind and helpful, always ready to give advice. Breakfast was tasty and served outside with a nice view. It was a calm and relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oia!

Lots of stairs.When checking out we could not get our ferry for hours after so they stored our luggage for while we saw more of Oia. When coming back we somehow forgot to check our safe which had our passports and wallet Thank God our housekeeper found it and told front desk when we went to collect our luggage or it would have been a disaster.They also found a dress I just bought that I left in closet Thankyou so much to our housekeeper who was wonderful for notifying front desk of finding our things. We can't thank them enough! A Wonderful stay Pool was so nice and view of sunset fabulous!

The superior room was spacious, clean and well covered against the sun - not that hot inside... just a beautifull view from hotel sunset terrace - we went several times to different restaurants for sunset, but last two days we just took a carrafe of house wine and went up there, to sunset terrace - that was the most beautifull moment of whole stay - no people, amazing view, just perfect pictures and magic moment we won't forget...
Breakfast - you should manage your expectations, this is pure greek traditiobal breakfast, not the one you get anywhere in germany or UK - breakfast was different and as we do not need tons of food, quality was excelent - fresh olives, cheese and a bit of everything local...
Having a pool inside hotel was so refreshing after whole day outside, pool was clean and always free umbrellas. They even serve a wine or beer to the pool! Staff and the couple which I think are owners (sorry if not) were very helpfull and pleasant - no problems at all - just proposals and solutions.
...and almost forgot location - you're in the hearh of Oia, next to main church at main square - it is close to everywhere.

Location is the best part, I felt like we had the best views in Oia, and could also step right out into the busy town. The views of the sunset are absolutely unreal, the whole place is beautifully kept, and quiet. The pool is amazing and absolutely necessary if visiting in high season. You get an apartment-hotel with your own little terrace.
Sun loungers are comfy, tasty breakfast with a couple of gluten free options if you need them, and different local treats each morning. And you can order drinks to the poolside.
Despite the “dislikes” I’ve posted, which I feel are necessary to flag, we had a really nice time on our holiday here, and I don’t know that we could have had a better hotel for our budget in the area.
Main issue was that when we arrived our room smelled like sewage. When we reported this the owners tried to insist they didn’t smell it, and then tried to tell us “sometimes the island smells bad”. Then they said it would go away and that they didn’t have another room. We were shopping for a new hotel when they finally told us they actually did have another room which they moved us to. It smelled normal, and for the ensuing 3 days we saw our initial room being constantly aired out. So they definitely could smell it. We had paid something like €1300 for our week and this was a really bad first impression.
Aside from that we occasionally had issues with slightly pedantic rules (can’t eat by the pool for tax reasons (?), also cant bring your own snacks to the common areas, can’t take food or drinks to certain viewpoints, sun loungers are bolted to the ground so you can’t move them into the shade). We felt like we might get told off for breaking rules a lot.

The way of welcoming us when we arrived. Despite a fresh welcome drink, the lady behind the reception desk irritatedly informed us in the second sentence that we had held on to our earlier booking for another room too long and despite being within booking.com's cancellation deadline she reminded us not to do that next time. She gave us the idea that because of this cancellation, she could no longer rent out that room. We got a not warm feeling from that and asking ourselves why a cancellation term is needed. To blame it the guest is not how it works in our opinion. Very sorry to experience this.

Very nice over all. The room is very spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff were very accommodating, where they helped us coordinate our sailing cruise and provided info on where to go for dinner.
The only complaint would be the "To go breakfast" as we had to leave very early next day. The breakfast they provided was a few pieces of cake, instant coffee and 2 small bottles of water. For an establishment that's a 5 star rating, we were expecting something like fruit, meat, cheese, bread/buns, juice, etc...

Great location in Oia, close to the laneways, shops & restaurants. We had a very large living area, great bathroom facilities & a very comfortable bed. Lovely, well kept property with a pool. Breakfast each morning was simple but delicious. The staff were friendly & very accommodating of any request & gave great advice regarding tours etc. etc.
We were very happy with our stay.

We stayed recently at this hotel for three nights with our 3 kids. It was a wonderful experience! John from the hotel management was incredibly accommodating, Cece and the chef making sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious and adequate. The rooms were clean, and spacious. Hotel is located in a safe, peaceful neighborhood away from crowds yet close to main street and all attractions and restaurants.
The pool was beautiful and well-maintained and had a great view of the church beside the hotel. Our kids loved the pool. The sunset and sunrise terraces were great to watch the sunset and sunrise right from the hotel. Overall, this hotel made our Santorini trip extra special!

We truly loved our stay in Aethrio Sunset Village. Located in the center of Oia, just a few steps away from the bus station, but very quiet and the surrounding is beautiful. Personnel is very kind and friendly. We are extremely grateful for the upgrade of our room that was amazing. Wonderful home made breakfasts by Georgios! The place is nice and clean. The breakfast is good too. It is also near all the shops and cave houses with alot of cafes, restaurants and shop houses.
It is just next to the church where they ring the bell quite often.

The pool was wonderful; the breakfast excellent and the staff very efficient!
The WiFi didn’t work in the room I was in; it might need a booster or new hub. It worked by the pool so it wasn’t a huge problem.
There are almost no electric sockets in the room; so I had to plug in the kettle in the bathroom.

Not far away, just minutes to get to town. Their hospitality was great. Except I couldn’t get an extra towel, that was a bummer. We all know there are water issues everywhere though.
It was an amazing place to stay, highly recommend. Breakfast on the lighter side but I prefer that it is buffet style. There are a couple of juice options. I loved it

The beds were the worst I’ve ever slept on…about six inches from the floor and nearly has a mattress. Surprised the owner didn’t speak English very well. Had a really hard time communicating with her and she got impatient because we didn’t understand her.

Aethrio layout is fantastic, like a little village in a big village! It has a Main Street going to the various little houses where your room is. Very calm and peaceful. The pool are is fantastic and quiet, super relaxing! Watching the sunsets from the top terrace was a real treat every night. The place is such a peaceful oasis and such a contrast to the hustle and bustle and business of the main streets in Oia! We will come back for sure and have already recommended to our friends and family.
At the pool area the sun beds are fixed in place and cannot be moved.

Property was great and what I expect from Santorini accomodations. Location was perfect in the middle of Oia old town. Staff were very nice and helfpful, they arranged a breakfast box for us since we are living very early in the morning. Very near to public bus terminal. Will definitely book again if given a chance to return to Santorini.

Close to bus stop . Able to go take bus to other side of island and check out the beach there. Walked down toward the castle and to ahmoudi bay. Picked up at bus stop by staff so no chance of getting lost. Also transported to ferry by staff with all the tips needed to make the experience less daunting. View from private deck or patio is superb.

The staff was phenomenal. They were very attentive to guests and maintained the property very clean. They assisted us with recommendations and setting up transportation. The breakfast was excellent and they even left us a tray in the morning because we checked out prior to breakfast being served.
The bed could’ve been more comfortable.
