What a beautiful hotel,like a palace inside! I love how the exterior masks the stunning interior! Pools fabulous great sized gym.the staff are exceptional!!. "Special mention to Stephen,an absolute pleasure toeey and thoroughly professional.alex too has exceptional people skills, this hotel would be Hong Kongs best value,by a long way!!. Ideal for a short/business stay. Very clean rooms with a nice bathroom,very comfortable bed and cable TV.

No direct street entrance to the hotel from Oil Street,so not easy to find,if one is NOT familiar with the area. About a 5 minute unsheltered walk to the hotel-not pleasant when it's raining. No free bathrobes and the free slippers are basically paper.No carpeting on the floor,so a bit chilly in winter when walking around the room. Rooms are NOT soundproofed at all! There was a different wedding reception at the hotel every night that I stayed here,so my sleep was disturbed by noisy guests in the corridors in the early hours of the morning(specifically on weekend nights) I also,heard the sound of furniture being moved frequently(in the evening) from the floor above me.

The hotel is very close to the metro and there are a lot of restaurants around. The hall is big and highly decorated, the staff is very efficient and the room is clean.

The room's furniture looks cheap and old-fashioned. For the price I paid and consodering the pretentious style of the hall I expected something more,but that's ok.

Staff were super helpful and nice. About 3 staff during our breakfast took time to greet my son and say hello. 2 people from the concierge helped us load up our luggage and head to our next destination upon our check-out. Lobby looks grand and luxurious. The hotel has access to a walkway going to the MTR. There are lots of nearby restos and cafes that is walking distance from the hotel. Room feels cozy and I love the sofabed by the window.

Elevator is a little small but thats really the least I can say.

the hotel lobby, restaurant abd cafe is beautifully designed. instagram worthy. hotel is only 5 mins walk to Fortress hill mtr, which is only 4 stations away from admiralty station. the location is peaceful and quiet, not facing busy street. the Oi art gallery is just next door, worth visiting.

Nice decorations in the lobby areas

The difficulty in getting into the lift when I wanted to check out was infuriating. Took me twenty minutes to find an elevator with room for me and my suitcase. I succeeded by pressing the up button. Three lifts for 39 floors is stupid

the location as its central is about the only good thing about this hotel

1. receptionist at check is was very rigid, I was talking on the phone as I entered the hotel - checking on my kids after being on the road for 11 hours - when I arrived to the desk to check in he said that I should be faster and that I'm wasting his time as his shift will be over soon!! 2. the room was not clean, every time the cleaning service comes in they leave dark short hair behind that is not my hair 3. the bathroom was dirty, had mold stains and a very bad smell 4. the floor had dust balls 5. the towels smelled awful 6. they tried to give me a room in a smoking floor and when I went back to complain that I will not take a room on a smoking floor they said it wasn't - I insisted to change my room and they did by far I think this is the worst hotel I have visited.
