I loved the boutiquy feel and decor. The fact that it was intimate , small scale, using refined colors creating a subtly elegant mood. I loved the complimentary laundry facility , the exquisite breakfast taken in the most refined , posh salon , sitting on a sofa under a giant glass chandelier. Truly a luxurious , indulgent experience. The staff is kind and helpful , specially the breakfast personnel .
The elevator key , needing to use it to go up anywhere and the fact that the hotel is sandwiched between other towers as is so common in HK, so no view whatsoever. But you can’t have it all!

Love this beautiful well-designed hotel! Location is great, near to MTR, several shopping malls and eating places. Service was excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a really comfortable stay for us with a baby. They knew we were travelling with a baby and asked if we needed more baby amenities and they provided a baby cot, high chair, bottle warmer and steriliser! I would definitely come back and stay here again!
Breakfast was delicious except that we stayed for 4 nights and had pretty much the same food every day. Not a dealbreaker as there are also many eating places near the hotel to explore.
Perhaps can rotate the menu?

The breakfast is excellent. Each guest could order one main dish from the menu (eggs your way/ egg Benedict with ham/ Wonton noodle/ Waffle), along with a nice range of breakfast/brunch selections, including muesli, cheese board, sausages, pastries, salads, and dim sum.
The service is excellent with high professional standards and great attention to details. The staff are friendly and respectful and they understand the customers’ needs very well.
The room decor is beyond expectations. The bar area, the television interface and the books in the room are some of the most memorable features that make me feel like home.

This property is conveniently located for shopping enthusiasts, with close proximity to train stations and abundant local food options nearby.
What I didn't like was the lack of a drive-thru. The taxi or pickup area is at the side of the road, so if the weather is bad, everyone will get wet. Additionally, there are steps before reaching the lobby, which may not be accessible for those who are wheelchair-bound.

The beds are soft and comfortable, especially good if you are someone who does not like hard beds (I realise it's a cultural preference thing, but most HK beds are too hard for my taste). I thought the interior design was really elegant and the breakfast is great (I don't really like hotel breakfast but this was on another level).
The windows in the room are a bit small and may only be single glazed. Some sound from the street below is audible at night.

I have stayed at the Lanson Place hotel in the past, pre-Covid and I always enjoyed the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on this stay that Lanson Place went through a renovation, which has greatly enhanced the hotel, it's layout - reception and lobby is now located on ground level, instead of 3 (or 4th?) level. The new bar with lounge and restaurant on the 4th level is wonderful, and rooms do not disappoint, they remain very well appointed.
The staff is very engaging, professional and congenial. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel in a city full of fantastic hotels! It's very understated but impeccable. We are a family of 3 with a 4 year old toddler. They provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for kids, as well as a little pack of activities on arrival. The extra kid bed was a good size for even an adult to sleep on. At breakfast, staff made the effort to talk to our child and brought her fruit or drinks that she particularly liked (she loved those raspberries!) We felt very welcome. Check in was smooth and quick. We waited in their orangery with a drink while they sorted everything out for us. It was extremely professional. The hotel was very quiet in general, but especially in the evening, which was very important to us. The room was a good size for HK and it was throughly clean. The breakfast was exceptional.I really liked that the portions were on the smaller side because it discouraged waste. I've been to hotels that have huge buffets and greedy people take mountains of food that they don't even eat. This is not like that. The buffet selection is smaller than large chain hotels, but it's very well done. Everything I ate was delicious. The hotel encourages sustainability and it's products support that. Finally the location is the best we've stayed in during our numerous trips to HK. It's walking distance to countless cafes, restaurants and shops. The area is buzzing! We'd stay again any time we go back to HK.

Stylish and calm decor, comfortable bedding, good amenities, and excellent staff and service. However door not thick enough to block out noises from kids playing in the hallway and other people chatting. Polly at reception is super friendly and courteous and deserves special praise.

Lanson Place has shrunk a lot in terms of build up area since I last stayed 15 years ago. I like the bustling and hive of activities in the Causeway Bay area.
Rooms are much smaller now, without mini kitchenette like what the rooms at Two MacDonald have (Lanson Place's sister hotel). 15 years ago when I stayed at Lanson Place, then having a larger build up footprint, all rooms come with mini kitchette and small living room.

The lobby was beautiful and clean, the rooms were also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also well-curated and had a lot of healthy choices. Staff were wonderful and very hospitable. We really enjoyed our experience with Lanson Place. Looking forward to coming back! The beds are also worth mentioning--- best sleep we've had in a long while! It's like sleeping in a nest^ ^

It is a beautiful property, amazing decor, world class customer service, excellent breakfast, lavish rooms, and a fantastic place to stay in HK.
Also, we travelled with our child and the hotel provided a baby bathtub, baby wash, lotion, shampoo, and full size crib. This was so delightful!
My only feedback is the room keys only allowed access to your floor on the elevator, therefore if you’re staying with other guest on a different floor you have to meet them in the restaurant or lobby.
Wasn’t a big deal at all, just a minor inconvenience.

Beautiful hotel, top notch service from staff from the moment we stepped in, throughout our stay and at departure. Wonderful breakfast selection to wake up to each morning at their well appointed dining room. Location was so ideal, just a few steps to the MTR and tram and you are right in the middle of lively, bustling Causeway Bay while also feeling the tranquility and luxurious stay. Bonus was the laundry room which was well serviced by staff however can get busy in the evening.

The front desk staff are usually stressed it seems. Not a very nice feeling to encounter that.
We also went to use the gym. It’s not very big and the stretching room was reserved for someone who would use the room at 8 am. It was currently 7 am! So we used it as there is no other place for us to stretch. the employee came running so stressed about this instead of just accommodating until 7:40 (which is when we left).

Location is great. It’s in Causeway Bay within walking distance to Times Square and Hyson Place. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Staff (especially Tiffany) was very responsive when we notified them of high humidity in room due to the rainy season, they offer to bring up a dehumidifier immediately which helped a great deal and made the stay more pleasant and comfortable.
Carpet in room could be cleaner.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable, close to all the eateries and public transport. What truly stood out, however, was the service. Every staff member was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended!.
Please consider expanding the breakfast menu. More daily variety in the hot food section and more fresh healthy options would be a great improvement. Expanding the menu would definitely enhance the overall guest experience.
