For the price they charge, it is disappointing to know they don’t do daily room cleaning — we learned about this at the property as it is not visibly disclosed in their booking.com listing. The policy is that they will clean the room every 3 days for guests who stay longer than 3 nights. However, the grey area for us was that we stayed 3 nights, but we had to check out at 11am, so no room cleaning for us during our full stay.
Our hallway smelled like mold/humidity and during our first day there were staff operating a loud machine up until 7pm. Moreover, they were chatting out loud, so we had all the machine noise + their talking all day.
The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable — my back still hurts of how rock hard it was and the pillow was paper thin. Not ideal for anyone who seeks comfort and rest after a long day of touring.

I like the location - overlooking and walking distance to Victoria Harbour and the Clock Tower and surrounded by shops. Also only 15 minutes by taxi to The Peak.
At check in, the front desk lady told us our room was upgraded. But upon seeing the room, it was exactly what I booked for so I’m confused what “upgrade” she was talking about. The room included an espresso machine but no coffee pods were provided.

We had a harbour view room and the view was superb. The location was excellent, easy walking distance to a metro station and the Star ferry pier and Nathan road. Value wise you can't beat this hotel. It also had guest laundry facilities which was useful.
There could have been a bit more room cleaning. They were only cleaning every 3 days for environmental reasons but the floor could have done with cleaning every day. You could ask housekeeping for more of anything and they would bring it.

The swimming pool is closed between 5pm and 6pm... Strange hours to close. Also many rules for the pool. Probably cultural but even coming from Switzerland, we felt a bit constrained.

The view, the size of the room, the location of the hotel and how close it was to the MTR as well as the minivans / buses.
Our bathroom exhaust fan was not working and it was not worth changing rooms after we had already unpacked, this meant the whole bathroom was extremely wet.
Our room phone wasnt working either and when we had notified staff, we were advised that this would be changed but this didnt occur; we didnt bother asking again.

The location had a nice ocean view. Christian based hotel, which I found really lovely in theme with Christmas and the true meaning of this festive season. I adored the nativity display.
Very tired hotel that needs a renovation from top to toe. The existing fixtures and fittings are not in keeping with this century. Facilities were either closed or not accessible. The staff were very lovely with an old fashion hospitality feel.

We had a harbour view room. In fact the room had the full view of the harbour. and the firework barge was situated right in front. We had an excellent view of the new year eve firework. The best firework I have ever seen --- personally I think it was even better than the Sydney one I saw on new year eve of 2011 and 2012.

We booked one of the corner family suites, and I have to say it had the most spectacular view I have ever had from a hotel room anywhere! Sweeping panorama of the entire harbor! Amazing, especially at night. The room was also very large and perfect for our family. I thought the price was very good for what the room provides. We would definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location!! So convenient to everywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff, and best price for the magnificent harbor view guest rooms. I was soooooooo thrilled to have gotten an upgrade to a corner suite with not just one, but three ocean view huge windows! Even I don't do anything but just lie in bed watching the sun rise and sun set above the Victoria Harbor skyline from those windows would have gotten my money worth, LOL.?❤️?
The breakfast buffet is really good: It has sizable variety of food, very fresh and good tasting, even though it is not a huge facility. But the small cafe decorations and utensils are cute.
Perhaps, the hotel wants to improve the lobby restaurant's food menu and the decors to attract more both hotel and outside customers.

It is all about location. The room was functional and perfectly fine for what we needed. But the view from the "harbor view" room was the real highlight. Wifi worked fine, shower pressure was good. But it is really all about the location.
Not a big deal, but we arrived at 2:30pm and were told that check-in time was 3pm. I realize that a check-in time can certainly be honored, but it seemed to be a bit of extra work for the bell desk to collect and return our luggage for the half hour delay.
