padma resorts are a family favorite. The staff, food, location, kids club and activities are phenomenal. will highly recommend!
i want to preface that we absolutely love padma legian. 2nd time there, some observations, we booked deluxe room vs club premier:
- the room wasn't cleaned properly. I called to have cleaners come and it was sub par. what I mean..the back board behind the bed was filled with dust and dirt and it wasn't wiped down. the shower had visible mold and needed repair.
- deluxe room is a no go for me next time. I will only book premier or club from now on. No special items like the beach bag to go to the pool, the rooms are a long long walk to the main pool etc. if you have elderly family with you, or injured it's not convenient. rooms were tired and needed upgrade, lack of closet space compared to the other options especially if you're 2 plus 1 child.

Can I please make a special mention to two people who served me in the pool area during my stay..
Dewa ayu and Setiodi Darma.
I could not have been more impressed with their kindness, professionalism and work ethic. They make me want to return to the Padma again soon. I really hope this message finds someone in management at the Padma and could you please thank them both again for me.

Was beautiful and well maintained. Staff were exceptional and could not do enough to help us. Especially at the SKAI bar up the top. The pool staff at the adult pool were awesome and very accomodating. Breakfast was incredible with choices available. The staff in the spa were extremely well trained and were very accomodating. The girl who did my nature head spa was amazing and would recommend that treatment to anyone.
Our bathroom shower could have been a bit cleaner, but understand the harsh Bali water. Also would have been nice to have taxes included in spa prices.

Everything. I get why this hotel is rated so highly among travellers, especially families. The kids pool and the kids club alone offered enough to entertain my 4 year old for 5 nights. Mermaid class, foam parties, dinner parties, t-shirt painting, pony rides - all at reasonable prices. My daughter asked, "Can we live here now?" (aka 5 star review from her). The breakfast buffet was out of this world with so many options. Staff were so friendly and professional. As someone who normally loves roaming off the beaten path, staying in a resort is not my norm, but I absolutely loved our experience here. The hotel is also close to shops and restaurants and right on the beach. Food prices within the hotel are also reasonable and the spa experience was exquisite. A grab taxi to the airport was $10.

The variety at breakfast is beyond expectations, the staff are attentive and polite. We also tried the Balinese feast and dancing (fantastic variety), archery (lovely staff), and the lagoon pool was our favourite. Happy hour was great at the swim up bar. Free bottled water is available 24/7 in your room.
Our room smelt musty. After no Bali belly at 2 other locations, we all were struck down from day 2 at Padma onwards.

Love Padma! This is the 4th time I've stayed here, and it never disappoints. I have the best sleep every time. The departure lounge was great for a shower and chill before a flight. And, The Spa for the Japenese Head Massage was amazing!

Its location and amenities were tremendous
Breakfast buffet could use a little more attention, especially when the food seems to get old under the heat lamps.

Friendly, happy, welcoming & hard-working staff, rooms we had were perfect for us - quiet, clean, well equipped, comfy beds, quiet air-con, great shower, lovely peaceful view out to the back gardens. We had an interconnecting room which was perfect for us and our 2 teenagers. Activities offered were great. We did the cycling tour, and I did the yoga one morning. The food at the main restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast had so much variety, and the themed buffet dinners were delicious. Loved the gym. So clean, and well maintained equipment. Well maintained grounds too.
Attentive staff at the pool. Loved their flag system to alert staff for service.
I found the Padma Legian better overall compared to other high end hotels in Bali we have stayed at recently. We would definitely stay again!
No smart tv in room - to login to Netflix etc

Exceptional staff, facilities were outstanding particularly the pool options (we flipped between the lagoon, main pool and infinity pool across our time there), restaurants were great with high quality food of different types, rooms were great, high level of cleanliness and organisation. The friendly nature and professionalism of the staff was a highlight. Overall this was a luxurious beautiful resort to spend time at.
I can not fault this at all.
