Loved the location , loved the facilities, the beachfront bar, the breakfast was wonderful as were the staff and the food at Moonlite kitchen the rooftop restaraunt was beautiful. The ocean view suite on the 4th level was lovey and large. The building in general and the balconies need attention and some maintenance. We loved the pool area. However we wanted to relax and couldn't do that with the connstant house music which played loudly from breakfast to 10pm.
The music was repetitive and loud and really spoiled what could have been the relaxing resort holiday that we planned. We love music and are over 50, but as there were not many customers at the sunset bars and no one after 8::00 with the Dj blasting out even louder til 10pm to no customers I don't think it has anything to do with age. We had to close our balcony doors and we could still hear the thumping noise. Such a shame !

Nothing in this hotel was good.
This isn't a 5 star hotel... a real scam. We took the 2nd most expensive rooms with jacuzzi on terrace and sea view. The jacuzzi was not working. So they needed 3 hours to repair Jacuzzi and finally when our first evening was lost and too late for evening diner and my wife had to take medication with diner. We filled the Jacuzzi and there was no hot water. When complaining at reception they told us that the last 3 months there was no hot water in the hotel and the management knew this since the beginning (three months) and they don't care and don't fix it. I have been in many 5 stats hotel, but never in a hotel that hasn't no hot water at all. Meaning even to take a shower it was with cold water. When you do check in you have to pay 100 euro in advance to be sure if you take something from the mini bar it is already paid. When checking out not even a commercial gesture for our inconvenience. We took at the hotel 2 coffees and had too pay after we had such a terrible stay. SHAME ON YOU THIEVES!!!

The staff were very attentive and friendly. All you can eat breakfast (a lร carte and buffet) was delicious. Amenities were great, with pool and gym, and had accompanying restaurants whenever you wanted a delicious meal. Location was quite central - able to walk or take a short ride to main streets of Seminyak. Being beachside was fabulous - able to watch the sunset from the rooftop bar or walk along the beach.

Its an amazing hotel and exceeded my expectations , i was little cautious when i booked the room based on the mixes previous review , but i found out that the negative review only shows a small part of the reality and hide the most wonderful part of the truth , the room was super spacious and clean ,the washroom section was huge with nice candles and smell , separated dressing room , i choose the sea view terrace and was great view with a nice bathtub and sun bed , the hotel has infinity pool with bar directly to the ocean view , the breakfast is highly standard, so nothing to complain

we were most happy to receive a free upgrade to a pool entry room. Staff were always friendly and helpful for whatever we needed. Never any trouble getting a pool lounger. Liked that it had direct access to the beach also as there was always a nice breeze.
I do think that at OBeach hotel guests should be given priority at the restaurant.. I did ask for a specific table to be held for me while I changed out of my swimwear and when I came back the table had been given away to someone else who actually only sat and had a Bintang and left. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

The location of the hotel and the restaurant and spa facilities were amazing. The team at spa Ayu, Ani, Dhia were excellent, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend them. Also, Nova and others in the restaurant were amazing. They went out of their way to make special ginger tea for me as I was ill.
Upon arrival, we were given a corner room ( we had the suite with a balcony with sea view), and we were told that it was one of the best rooms in the hotel. But upon entering, there was a very bad sewage smell in the room that sort of spoilt the whole room and the view for us. Later in, we found that the AC did not work, especially at night. The technician came and repaired and still didn't work properly. After complaining multiple times, they only offered another technician. We had to ask for a fan, and I ended up ill. Finally, after escalating to the GM, Sathya and Yuli got us moved to another room. And indeed that was one of the best rooms. I am very sure that they had kept the previous room only for booking.com or other 3rd party booked customers. Everything worked in our 2nd room, and we had the best half of our stay. Hope no one else have to go through that.

I cant fault the staff and their friendliness. Always helpful. The food at the hotel was great and lots of choice, we particularly liked the lunchtime menu. We stayed in Suite 101, the size of the room and swim up pool was a great feature for us. The Spa at roof level was a great place to unwind and relax.
I would class the service as 5 star but the hotel itself needs a face lift and some more maintenance. The main pool had a lot of loose tiles and most of the umbrellas had seen better days. Our room whilst comfortable shows signs of ceiling leaks and patch jobs which makes it just under a 5 start rating for me. For the cost per night the owners need to spend some money putting some basic things right to get to a 5 star rating just on appearance and value.

The staff were super friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy and tried what they could to satisfy us. They were always welcoming and happy to help book taxi's etc, always smiling and kindhearted. Any constructive feedback in this review is based on the property and the way it was advertised versus how it actually looked when we arrived which shocked us given the way it was advertised. It's important to make clear the staff were exceptional and beautiful people!
The actual room and hotel itself was not what we expected based on how the room was advertised. Upon arriving we noted mould on the ceiling and mouldy smell within the room. We were moved to another room however that also had mould which I noted around the aircon and shower. The hotel is advertised as 5 stars however was super run down, the building on the outside had mould and various issues like paint peel/ roof off on one side and was not 5 star quality. Tiles in the pool were broken and dangerous. The hot tub on the balcony sounded lovely however when looking at it, was old and dirty and not inviting to lay in. The chairs by the pool were also mouldy and old. The towels in the room were very old- this was definitely not a 5-star hotel or what I would expect for what we paid even though we spent the most at this hotel to the other hotels we stayed at on this trip.

The staff were amazing and knew you personally. They made you feel very welcome and special. Food was good and plenty of things to do in the crowded streets outside the hotel. The facilities were a bit old and dated. Room was large and comfortable but needed some modernising. Nice location on the beach but the beach was sadly full of rubbish.

All the staff were amazing and helpful. The room was huge with a great view of the beach. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The infinity pool was lovely. The treatments were wonderful.
Sometimes our room smelled like sewage and our ceiling dripped (I guess because of the humidity) so we had to put towels on the floor.

Very spacious suite, extremely comfortable, loved the Jaccuzzi in the terrace, perfect ocean view, very kind & lovely staff ( Mrs. Sayu in the reception, Ms. Adi in Spa, Mr. Mangtri in Moonlight restaurant) all were very kind & friendly & extremely helpful. I loved the crab in O- crab restaurant, I liked every nightโs show. The sea was amazing.

The rooms were very old and required alot of maintenance.
We changed our rooms twice, the first time because of bathroom had very unpleasant smell.
The second time because the air conditioner was broke. And also the bathroom was smell bad.
The breakfast is limited and they didnโt refill! If you woke up late you will find nothing to eat
The staff was friendly and they apologies but the overall the hotel need to be renew
From my experience I didnโt recommend this hotel for others as the money you paid dose not value the experience as 5 stars hotel

It's a very old and dated hotel and in need of some serious renovation! The rooms are nice and spacious but look extremely overused and worn out so not worth the pricing they charge. The location is nice, bang on the beach so easy access to several bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurants didn't look appealing at all so don't bother eating there. Staff are nice and polite but have a long check in process as well.

The location, view, room, and bathroom are all exceptional. The room is beautiful, extremely comfortable, and very large. It also has a large bathroom.
The hotel is old, and some areas were a bit worn. While I didn't enjoy the breakfast, the staff was exceptionally helpful, prepared to cook anything to my specifications.

What I liked about this property is definitely the location right in front of of the beach, plus they have their own beach club. Clean swimming pool with comfortable chairs.
