We got a beautiful view and the room was fine.
The location of the hotel was great.
The lady serving us at breakfast was a treasure a real font of local knowledge of the area and knew what was on each day in the locality.
The selection of food at breakfast was really nice.
You couldn't open the window more than a few inches
There was a centipede in the bathroom.
At breakfast they charged extra for coffee from the machine because we didn't like the coffee served in a pot at breakfast was weak and burnt. It was €550 for 2 nights b&b and we had to pay extra for decent coffee?

There were better deals at the hotel, including breakfast and dinner .Our room was facing a rooftop and a graveyard. Staff could not offer any better deal because we booked a third party . The staff member who took the payment didn't even say thanks or goodbye. Another staff member noticed and said thank you and goodbye .

excellent, good choice, taste, comfort etc
as I was travelling alone, when seated for dinner, I was put with my back to the open door near a pillar. there were larger tables, also set for 2 against the windows with the amazing view but i wasnt offered any of those. The waitress asked if I was in a draft and if I'd like to move, but then put me in the back, in the dark and beside the toilet.
I would have loved to look out at the view, I would not have been taking up a table set for more than 2, and the small table I was put at was also set for two.

The staff is so accommodating, day or night. The breakfast is wonderful and I was allowed to grab a plate and take it up to my room. I like that two huge bottles of drinking water was always filled. LOVED that they had reasonably priced same day wash and fold laundry service---even a half load priced service! Location is central for this part of Ireland.
Shower curtains--they got in the way of my shower space. Key to the door sometimes didn't work and the locks are old.

Staff were helpful and the food was good. We had a view down the bay from our bedroom & the dining room. We enjoyed walks and birdwatching in the area. We saw Warren Strand and the lighthouse from the pier on the other side of the bay.
It would be good to have books about the local area & wildlife in the library.
The local crafts for sale could be expanded and in a more prominent position.
Breakfast was very very good with lots of choices! Staff wa great and very helpful with out 18 months baby! Thanks so much!

The hotel was in a beautiful location. It was such a quiet hotel to stay in which I loved , the interior of the rooms with the map built into the desk and lockers was very nice ,the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows , the staff were all really nice , the leisure center although a bit dated had everything you needed and it was very quiet . Village and beach both within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price . I had asked for an earlier check in and they accommodated it no problem. They are very eco friendly and didn't provide any unnecessary plastic like shower hats and small soaps instead there is a hand soap /body wash on the wall in a reusable bottle . I would 100% stay here again
The TV was very limited on channels and didn't have any options to cast a streaming service from your phone , when I took a shower the bathroom floor flooded because I think there was a broken seal in the bath and it flooded the floor so I had to use all the towels to try and dry it , view of the graveyard isn't isnt the nicest view but these things wouldn't put me off staying here again

Issues with pool, water very unclear, so not that pleasant to swim in. Had dinner at hotel, whilst the food was good, very short-staffed, so took ages to arrive. Overall, the hotel could do with a bit of updating. Our rooms unfortunately didn't have a water view; we looked over the back and a cemetery.

On evening I was in the dining room with 3 adults and 2 all of whom received their dinner except me. Not one person came back to say why my dinner was delayed. I called a girl and she said she'd check , but she didn't come back. I ended up cancelling my dinner altogether. Not a good evening.

The ground floor where the lobby etc is was extremely cold given the rest of the hotel was so hot. Ourselves and others were sat with coats and hats on which just wasn't comfortable.

I loved the location. It was nice to go for a walk around the lagoon and it was a short walk to the main town square. The breakfast staff and food was fantastic. The hotel has nice amenities and lots of comfortable common space to enjoy.
No air conditioning. We had a fan in our room which made it bearable but it was humid and warm and very little air came through the window when we opened it.
I didn’t like the shower curtain in the tub because it kept going into the tub and sticking to me as I was showering which was annoying.

It has a kids club that runs from 6pm. Free of charge and next to the restaurant. You can have a meal in peace knowing that your kids are having fun. This was the best surprise.
It's also located next to an aquatic inflatable park which would be great for older kids.

I liked the location and variety of choices for breakfast.

Toilet has awful staining, and could well do with a deep, deep clean (room 137) - it looks like a blue dye has stained the bowl badly
