The location was fantastic right in the heart of Clon. The room decor was cute.
We had to pay the family room rate even though there were only 2 of us which made the stay very expensive

A bit noisy on the Saturday night, banging the main door, which is locked.

the location is fantastic, this is my 2nd time staying here . it is a lovely bougie hotel. the staff are very friendly and nice. I like when you check in the receptionist actually brings you up to your room. it is very quirky hotel and has so much charm and character. this time the room I stayed in had a balcony which was gorgeous. the hotel also has a library room which you can borrow books from. I had originally booked for 1 night but ended up having to stay for 2 and they were very accommodating for letting me stay the extra night. there is a lot of beautiful details gone into this hotel . I like that you get a physical key too instead of a key card. I would 100% stay here again
the room doesn't have a kettle just an Nespresso machine which is fine but you can only boil a small amount of water at a time , the pillows although really comfortable were a bit too firm , it can be a bit noisy hearing other guests in their rooms as the walls are thin and there is only a limited selection of TV channels (saor view )and no option to be able to stream cast from your phone but over all the hotel is beautiful and charming and I don't have much complaints

Clean, comfortable and central location in Clonakilty town
Our family room had a tiny window which made it very humid at nighttime despite having the Dyson fan. It would be nice if the bar had a more homely feel as the library does, it seemed like more of a cafe.

From the moment, we walked in the door, we felt welcome and at home. This boutique hotel with its eclectic decor is a perfect choice! The rooms are bright and stylish, and the beds are very comfortable!
The breakfasts are delicious! Their restaurant features locally sourced fruits, produce, and meats, and we ate dinner there several times and were impressed with the variety in the menu and scrumptious foods! The owners, Rob and Rebecca are a great team and work in tandem to provide top-notch service! Sam at the front desk took charge when we had to cancel a reservation at an historical site. Robin, with her bright smile, greeted us every morning at breakfast. Sinead kept our room spotless and comfortable! Jack also did a great job at the restaurant! Everyone we encountered loved his/her job, now that’s a top- notch hotel!

The Emmet hotel exceeded every expectation we had. The location - right in town, room - much larger than we expected and in addition to being comfortable and cozy, it was also very stylish with lovely colors in the artwork and bed throws. The breakfast was incredible too. Staff went above and beyond for us. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip!
Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! We'll definitely be back!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy. Location is amazing. Parking was found easily outside the hotel on the square. Breakfast was simple and tasty.
Stayed in a family room but still a bit of a squeeze. Thankfully had someone with me to help lift the pram up the stairs to our room. A little pricey but maybe it was because it was just after Christmas.
