A spacious room with a generously sized bed. The hotel is well located for most Dublin attractions, but also not too close meaning that it's in a bit of a quieter area. Thankfully not directly over the hotel/bar itself but just to one side. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The windows are only single-glazed, so let through a significant amount of noise. The maintenance is not great, with loose tiles in the bathroom leading to mould. It's generally a bit run-down, especially the bathroom but otherwise quite a good place to stay.

Perfect location, food and ambience in pub below was lovely.
Not enough place to put our things, room was too cold during the day and too warm at night. Bathroom too cold, as soon as one person had a shower the condensation would stay for the rest of the day, impossible tu use the mirror. no bin in the bedroom.

Was pleasantly surprised here - the room was spacious , the beds were comfy, interesting old building with high ceilings and an old fireplace in the room. Was expecting to hear the pub below but the accommodation is slightly to one side with its own entrance which was very handy. Box for keys on leaving so no hassle checking out.
The room was quite cold, the large heaters were on but didn’t do much for the room. I did not ask for the heat to be turned up however , so it’s possible this could have been easily remedied.

Very clean and comfortable. Good location for the Bord Gais theatre and for exploring the city. Staff were lovely. We arrived early and could leave bags safely until later in the day. We really enjoyed the meal downstairs in the bar; decent pint too.
Couldn't get the heating to fire up in the room. Owner responded quickly to my query which was great, but the radiator still didn't come on. We could have have gone down to ask staff in the bar but we were all in PJs at that stage. Chances are the staff would have sorted it for us.

The room was clean and spacious. The shower was clean. The bed was very large - Queen I'd say. Even with the pub downstairs, our stay was overall very quiet, even with leaving the window open all night.
The check-in process could have been better. Check-in via the bar in the pub, it was really busy in the pub when we arrived to check in, which made it difficult to tell the barman that we were here to check in.

The bedroom was nicely decorated . Looked like it was updated recently.
The bathroom was horrible. Tiles were coming off the walls by the toilet and the floor tiles moved as you stepped on them. It was hard to stand at the sink because the tiles would rock. Not safe when getting out of the shower!!
We had an early flight into Dublin and I did request an early check in but was denied. No problem, I asked if they could keep our bags until we were allowed to check in, which was 3:00pm. The hotel said yes, but what I wasn’t told was the Lombard is a bar and doesn’t open until 12:00pm. This would have been helpful to know beforehand because we then needed to find an alternative place for our luggage.
We made our way back around 3:00 and decided to have lunch at the bar. It was probably the worst meal we had the whole trip.

It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was the best water pressure especially after traveling for 12 hours. The food was so good and great prices. I recommend the fried brie and Guinness stew.
We showed up before 1500 because the message said check in was at 1500 figured we would have a drink and eat if the room wasn't ready. I think the owner maybe manager sat us down and told us our room won't be ready. So we said no problem we'll eat and drink while waiting. After 3:00 we told the bartender we were done and need to check in if we can. Manager/ owner was nowhere to be found. Wait staff was very friendly.
Bathroom was recently remodeled but must of had a leak because the floor felt like we were going to fall through it.

The location is great! It's right across from Trinity College and a bus station. The room was extremely comfortable. The pub had great food, and there was also a sushi place next door (excellent) and the Honey Truffle on the other side for a quick breakfast and coffee.

There is no parking. We knew this up front so it's not really a complaint. There are lots in the area (cost $50/day), no different than any other major city, just be aware that it's a little to tricky to drop/pick up people and bags with no parking lot

The room itself was spacious, with character and charm, and a very nice updated bathroom. Being above the pub was a bonus, it was a lively spot, great for a late meal and drinks. Next time I will try and arrive a little earlier and enjoy the pub more.
A bit out of the way from Train Station (though still walkable, with a few sights along the way) and some traffic noise from the street. Nothing that would deter me from going back, though.

Reasonable price for Dublin. Close to Trinity College, walking distance to Temple Bar, Trinity College. Dublin Express airport bus 5 min walk. Food at pub (below rooms) was good. Bed was comfortable.
We were in a heat wave and room was very hot. Too noisy with window open. Was provided with a fan the second night and it was 100% better. Area looks a bit sketchy, but we encountered no issues walking around and felt safe.

2) The room (#1) was above the bar's patio, so it was loud at night. Also, the smell of cigarette smoke would come into the open window of our bathroom. We had the windows open for air ventilation, since it was a warm night (No fan was provided. That would be nice to have had).
-However, we appreciated that the bar noise/chatter subsided after not too long, and we could eventually sleep.

The location was excellent for hitting the tourist spots and relaxing in st Stephens Green. The room had no frills but the blackout curtains were very handy since the day is so long in Dublin in the summer. The staff was friendly and our lunch in the pub was nice as well.
The room was hot. I understand the weather was unseasonably warm, but it may be worth investigating ceiling fans.

The Pub was great. The bathroom was very nice size, the shower was really nice.
There was no elevator to get all our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs. I'm a 71 yrs old woman. It was very difficult for me, then had to carry them back down upon leaving. There was no fan for help sleeping in the very small room.
