The location. It was the only good thing about this place.
The apartment was disgusting. The mattresses and sheets were stained, there was a pair of dirty socks on the stairs, and one of the cooking pans was extremely worn to the point it would not have been safe to cook with. The door leading into the room did not properly lock, and when I contacted the property to express my concerns, they simply replied that the apartment was perfectly safe. Despite having specifically booked for two guests in separate rooms, only one bed was prepared, and it wasn't even the bed in the bedroom, but one of the sofa beds. Additionally, the location to check in was located about a 40-minute walk from the apartment itself, and there was no offer to provide transportation. Needless to say, we stayed the first night and then booked a different place for the remainder of our stay. I don't care how inexpensive it is, safety concerns and the complete absence of cleanliness are deal-breakers.
