We truly enjoyed the spacious room which was nice, clean and comfy. It even had its own balcony where we spent pretty much every night hanging and talking, it was really great. Personnel was very welcoming and helpful, made sure we had plenty of everything for breakfast each morning which was also nice, lots of things to choose from. It was located near supermarkets, restaurants and city center. Main bus and rail station was not far away either, definitely recommend.

The B&B is a private residence. the two owners sit in the kitchen and smoke none stop. the whole apartment smells of smoke. we had to put towels as a draught excluder to stop the smell entering. they also own a dog - not mentioned on the description - do not bring children. room is described as having a private bathroom however this is external to the room - again poorly described

Pretty good place for the price. It's very clean and spacious, managed by a sweet lady. She doesn't speak English much, but we managed. Great location. 10-12 minute walk to Maggiore and 15 minute walk to train station. All in all, I was happy with my stay.
Breakfast is very simple. I personally didn't mind, but if you like a good big breakfast, you might want to eat outside.

The apartment is old but somehow has its special charm, the dog was really cute, the staff tried to be helpful, the location is pretty good
It felt more like staying in a private apartment (especially the vibe of the bathroom), breakfast was not included (the lady told me that there is apparantly a problem on the german website, we didn't have that information, but she offered us some crackers and juice which was nice), two of the owners were smoking a lot in the apartment and since we're non-smokers it was not so pleasant to have the smell everywhere

upon meeting we were offered coffee.
on the day of departure we were allowed to leave our things in the storage room in order to walk around lightly and pick them up later.
There was a smell of cigarettes in the apartment.
It was difficult and stressed for us to find this apartment and the owners did not send any clear instructions. When we asked for an iron, we were told that there was no such service, although the next day the employee ironed the clothes.
Employees don't speak English.
Shared bathroom with the hostess.
Considering all the disadvantages, I think this room should cost less

- host didn't speak English, which is fine, but kept messaging to ask when we would arrive, which was a bit annoying when we were travelling and didn't actually know. Apparently there was a fee if you checked in after 7pm
- advertised as private bathroom but it was actually a separate bathroom across the hall from our room, which seemed to be unlocked (so it may have been shared)
- not really in hosts control but in the morning someone kept ringing the doorbell for the floor, a bit noisy.

The location is perfect, about 5 min walking to the city center. The room is rather quiet and big, it has a fridge. Wifi is very fast, the TV also has real TV programmes such as Rai. It is really clean. The owner is very helpful and kind.
Some equipment is a abit old and for the price this would be not really okay. A price for a single person should be not more than 60 Euros for the level of furniture, but the owner is very kind and helpful.

The room was big and very clean. It's exactly as in the picture and for its price + locality, it is worth it. Everything worked fine. There was a minor blackout in the morning but it was fixed promptly. The other staff there was kind and friendly, and there was a cute dog.
I think the owner could be friendlier and more hospitable. Perhaps don't talk bad about your clients in front of them. I'm non-Italian with not so good language skills, but my partner is and could clearly understand the owner complaining about us and how much we paid etc. We simply paid what Booking has asked and accepted the policies which included a free breakfast. If this is an issue, take it up with the site, not us. Although someone did apologise later for the rudeness, I am still mentioning here because it was the one thing that made us uncomfortable even when everything else was perfect.

They donโt talk English, we did not understand the old lady. Additionally, we thought we will have our own private bathroom in our room, but it is on the hallway, so you need to get out of your room anyways, it can be used by anyone as well, it is disturbing and it shouldโve been noted. Like the other people said, we smelled smoke sometimes, which was disturbing (also the noise of TV). Breakfast was ordinary, only packaged products.

Although I could not see any heaters, the room temperature was perfectly adequate and comfortable, which is not the easy to come across in hotels in Italy in February.
The location is also great - right next to the old city and 15 min walk from the train station.
Quite clean.
I know that personal tastes should not be commented on, but the style of decorating the rooms is quite questionable.
The breakfast can be a little more diverse.
The location should be non-smoking, but in the first evening someone smoked a lot and the smell of smoke was quite pungent in the room and all throughout the corridor.

The location was great. The owner kindly gave us a different room when we let her know that the bed in the first room was very uncomfortable.
The entire place smelled of smoke. Thereโs no smoking in the rooms (which is fine with us as we dont smoke) but it does not apply to the owner, and she smoke quite a lot inside which extended to the common areas and rooms.
We were unaware that โshared bathroomโ meant sharing the bathroom of the owner and not the other guests. It was uncomfortable using the bathroom that had her towels, robes, and night gowns hanging, as well as all of her personal products.

The bathroom was outside the room. And the linens were not to be changed, they felt like ; were used but not changed. And the breakfast was cake and cookies. Yes there was dog but no problem but in the night it weeped. The doors were no sound protection
