I really enjoyed my stay in Bologna and the apartment itself was great. The surroundings. Well located in the city: a short distance from the train station, from Piazza Maggiore & from the Garisenda and degli Asinelli towers. In the street itself (Via Guglielmo Oberdan) you have several supermarkets and stores where you can easily buy something. Just next to the apartment you also have a restaurant where you can have a nice meal. In and around the apartment it always quiet, even at night, the neighbors are very friendly and helpful. From the window of the apartment and a few meters from the front door you have a nice view on the forgotten canal of Bologna, which is definitely special. La Finestrella of the Via Piella is also nearby. Tip: It's best to go there in the morning around 8 o'clock, so you can take some nice pictures because during the day many tourists pass by. The appartement There was nothing to complain about in the apartment itself: it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, all necessities were present. Please note that there is no WiFi but that is clearly stated in the description. The service Finally, I would like to say that the service was of the highest quality. Mr Luigi was kind enough to wait for me on the first day to give me the keys, he went through all the paperwork with me and also had some fresh water and fruit set ready for me. Disinfectant gel was present at the entrance (COVID-19). Luigi gave me good advice on the sights and took into account all my needs. He also took time to bring me to the airport on the last day. This is the kind of service you can't and will never have in a hotel or in another kind of accommodation. Therefore i want tot thank the people of Casa Vacanze Il Canale for everything and warmly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a carefree and a comfortable stay in the City. F. Huchard

Luigi was a wonderful and kind host who was very easy to communicate with, notwithstanding a language barrier. The apartment is in a really great location for seeing Bologna, and has all the amenities and comforts for a very pleasant stay.
