The location was very good, everything was within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows.
Although they advertised having both ac and heat, we were not allowed to turn on the heater or the AC. This wasnt a big deal but I would have slept better if I was allowed to set the temperature in the room.

The location is excelnt, very close to the Piazza Majora and to all the restaurants and stores. It is also a short 30 minute walk to the Bologna book fair. Right beside the Bologna canal, a feature many don't know exists.
My room had a very old window that didn't isolate the sound witch made sleeping challenging with the garbage and cleaning crews that came out at 4 AM.

Basically in the center of Bologna, room was clean and cozy. Really nice and willing personal and nice breakfast with everything you may need.
We had room with 2 separate beds, which were really small even for 2 girls. Second night the toilet stopped working, they really tried to fix it and succeded at the end. Third day probably something broke somewhere in the canalisation or something, the smell was horrible, but it is not actually mistake of the hotel.

The location was perfect โ just a 2-minute walk from the city centre, yet it was very quiet during both the day and night, with no noise to be heard. The room was nice and comfortable, and the staff were helpful, especially the girl at reception.
During our stay, there was a very strong smell of vomit throughout the entire duration. From the reception area all the way to our floor, the smell was very strong and noticeable.

Room was spacious and clean
Staff is terrible. Rude and not helpful at all. I was there with 1.5 year and 4 year old and guy didnโt want to let me into the room because I didnโt give passport of my 1.5 year old. For context I came at 2pm for check in and asked the guy to give them all passports to at least check in but he said no. When I came later when room was ready I didnโt have my baby passport and I explained to staff that previous guy saw all passports but didnโt keep them or put them in system but he still refused to let me in. says those are the rules so I had to wait for my wife to come another 30min.
When I was checking in another staff member who was super rude says checking comes first come first served. That yes they write on booking itโs guaranteed from 2pm but actually they only start cleaning annd if someone left bag in the morning before me he will check in sooner and check in can also be by 3.30pm. I sent special request to prepare my room even before 2pm (like months ago) and they said they will guarantee it for me for 2pm. So I was late for event because they not only refused to assist or find solution but said nothing on booking.com is guaranteed so I had to leave hotel for an hour and a half with kid and wait.
