Lovely athmosphere in a historical building with super helpful staff. No extra facilities but perfectly good for spending the night close to the city center for great value for money.

Very central!
Room was small and extremely expensive, but that was because of high booking levels as a result of a local fair.

The owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful throughout my short stay.
Well it was a one star hotel, but it was slightly more basic than I had anticipated, eg no kettle in the room or soap in the bathroom. Having said that it was very clean with good quality cotton sheets on the bed and an ample en-suite bathroom.
Whilst the hotel is in a very convenient spot for sightseeing on the Via San Vitale it was pretty noisy outside with revellers until the early hours 4.30am and I didn’t get much sleep. This might not bother some people of course and it may have been because it was a Friday night.
Also to be noted it’s not a non-smoking hotel.

No breakfast was possible. The owners would have been willing to arrange something with a local cafe, but as there are a multitude of good options on the doorstep and beyond, spread your wings and discover! I liked just that, the freedom to go out and explore from the outset. I also enjoyed the chats I had with the owners and the tips and advice both gave me.
No fault of the hotel. As it’s in the university area especially on a Friday night, the beat is on and it is noisy. Morale of the story, if you can’t beat them, join them! Although there’s a generational gap involved here!

Great location, within historic centre. A 10 minute Walk via the portici down via San Vitale past the leaning torri Garisenda and Asinelli to Piazza Maggiore, and the Quartiniere district. The room was clean and basic but great value for money in such a great location. The staff were very helpful always willing to recommend where to eat and to buy a power bank, (I lost mine, probably on train from Venice. The staff also carried my bags up the stairs which was lovely.
The hotel is a bit outdated and could do with an update, maybe more comfortable beds, but for the price that’s not really a criticism.

Location in the historic area, 10 minutes walk to centre- perfect for our 2 day stay.
Hotel staff are very helpful and pleasant.
Dated room and no air con, it was 32degrees in the day and the noisy plug in fan was very noisy.
Basic accomodation but super location for a short city centre visit.

The location is in a strategic position right to the center.
Well, it was a expo show for make up and all hotels double their price up.
This hotel was too expensive for my point of view.
Good staff. The hotel offer basic things and the overall is just up to standard.
