We loved this old traditional hotel! The location is fantastic in the heart of the town. The room was comfortable and clean, yes dated but its Italy and it gave you the feel of being in Italy! Far too many places are getting the modern cold look now. For location alone its 10/10.

The only thing is parking, there are only a few spaces at the hotel but they give you a ticket and directions to the underground safe and secure public car park 2 blocks away which if you have lots of luggage isnt ideal. Its a faff tbh because we arrived hoping to park up and check in and after a very long 5 hour drive from the south of France which was tiring we then had to move the car and leave the luggage in the reception. Also on departure we had to collect the car then find our way back to pick up the luggage so this is why I gave it a 9.

Location trumps most nagging itching though in this case - the hotel felt weathered and in need of a good scrubbing. If a sensible room in an interesting town is your Moto, then this will meet that lower bar.
