The room is very well designed. I was surprised when they asked to send them a copy of our passports but it was to speed up the check in process. The instructions given were very detailed and helpful. I loved the location also as it is very central and close to the train station, the waterfront, and the Main Street. Havenโt met the receptionist but she was really of a great assistance in written communication.

It was in the center of La Spezia, the room has a wonderful small and typical balcony, where we enjoyed our evening. Also everything was very close (the Central train station, backerys, restaurants โฆ).
Meybe it was a little loud at the night, because the room was upstairs the restaurant, but that didโt bother us much.

The size of the room, and the location was great!
We found the pillows to be pretty uncomfortable and the door to get in was a bit tricky to get at first. Otherwise, very pleasant stay. There was also no where to store luggage at the accommodation (where previously at other hotels there have been) which then limited our activities in Cinque Terre for the morning so we missed out.

The perfect spot for visiting Cinque Terre! I stayed here two nights and too the train to a different town each day. It was really easy and only a 4min walk to the station. I was also really surprised at how much I enjoyed La Spezia - had dinner here one night which was a lot nicer than the crowds in Cinque Terre. No issues with noise at all, comfortable stay and would return

Location was good. Walking distance from the train station, close to the main areas, but on a quiet side street.
There is a pub/restaurant underneath that plays metal music so my husband was happy. It was very busy when we stayed, and nice atmosphere. We didn't really hear the music in our room.
The room itself was comfortable and clean.
When we arrived we rang the bell as per instructions but no answer. We rang the number we were given, and the number over the door but no answer. Had to wait outside. Finally we had a reply and were let in.
We paid our city tax at the bar downstairs but had to call him back to give our names. I confirmed with the host we had paid but got no reply.
Nice apartment but needs better communication.

Nice room with good price-quality ratio, in a central position in La Spezia, close to the Central Station. I'd love to come here again, but given our bad experience with the property manager, that will not happen again.
Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the property manager. We travel for work and the invoice we asked for was not correct: the tourist tax was not mentioned on the invoice. When we notified the manager, I was told that it was not fair (quote) "to ask for an invoice for a private [sic] trip, as you came to La Spezia to celebrate Saint Valentine with your wife". It took 12 days more and a few extra reminders from me to obtain also the receipt for the tourist tax. From the communication with the manager, I deduct that is was simply an error an not a workaround the tourist tax. I'd suggest, just make sure that the receipts comply with the tourist tax rules of La Spezia, and apologies for the extremely rude and offensive manner in which you addressed me would have been the least to do. Note that I have been extremely mild with my review score, given the way I was addressed.

Stylish room, comfortable bed, good shower. Liked the coffee pods left for us in our room and kettle with sachets if tea/coffee if we needed them. Having a fridge was great. An iron and mini ironing board was really useful too. The location was excellent, right in the town centre and 10 mins walk to the port
Downside was the parking. Parked in Stazione Centrale on arrival 5pm until 10 next day- cost us 32โฌ. Next day parked further away on streets nearer the port 8pm -8am for free and moved car beforehand.
If other channels other than Italian were available on TV - would be better for international travellers

Absolutely loved this accommodation and was amazed at what we got for the price we paid. The location is very central so youโve got loads to do on your doorstep. The room itself is lovely and big and has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again if I return to la spezia.
We didnโt get instructions on how to re-enter the outside building so had to ask the bar man in the bar downstairs who sort of laughed at us like we were being a bit stupid. Was probably just a small oversight as we received all other instructions just not how to enter the main building as originally someone buzzes you in.

We had a great stay here. The staff were lovely and cleaned our room everyday. The room was nicely presented and clean. There were amenities to make coffee, tea, etc. which was a nice touch.
Our room was above the main street so there was a little bit a street noise (not cars because there is not many cars in the area). This might be different for the rooms further back though.

Everything was very clean. We arrived as the room was being cleaned but the lady was very kind and let us quickly put our bags in the room so we didn't need to carry them around. The room had everything we needed and was very cozy.

We arrived (with a baby) late which we told the staff about before arrival. The automatic check in did not work and so we continued to ring the bell. The staff came out of a bar completely drunk and started yelling at us, saying xenophobic and awful things about us became we were American (they accused us of wanting to enslave them as part of the unhinged rant). We were in tears at night and kept saying we needed to go in so our baby can sleep. They tried to kick us out with our baby because literally they were mad we rang the bell for โtoo long.โ It was only when we threatened to call the police that the staff let us in but they continued to harass us for hours in their drunken state before returning to the bar. There were dozens of witnesses shocked at this behavior in public.

The host was very! Responsive. I had trouble with my AC and her husband came in a few minutes and fix it for me. The small room was perfect for a solo traveler.
I guess the big rooms bed was a little too firm for my taste. The smalls room bed though was perfectly soft. I had some issues with my AC and same for the heater in the bathroomโฆguess they will get it fixed since it was a bit cold:)

Our stay was wonderful. The room decor and cleanliness was great. We enjoyed the balcony and proximity to the train station, and many restaurants and activities nearby such as the Naval Museum and Marina. The furnishings were all in very good condition and you could tell the attention to detail with the room design. It was very quiet from the other rooms and you could not hear the taverna below at all even though we were the first room above it. This was perfect for us after a long day trip spent in Cinque Terre. Getting the room key was easy and it is a good system for entry and exit. Staying here was so comfortable and perfect for what we needed!
I would add a small mini-fridge in the room where the garbage can is. It would be very nice to have a second set of curtains in addition to the existing blackout curtains that you can use to allow light in but not see through. Otherwise, I wouldnโt change anything. Itโs well worth the visit!

The location was great! The Tavern below requires a reservation but we were able to reserve without a problem. It was so delicious (amazing beer and food) that we ended up eating there two nights of the three nights we were staying there. This place is a total gem. The room decor is so nice and everything felt very personalized. My name was handwritten on a note pinned to the door when we arrived. It felt safe in the area and was such a short walk to the train station to visit Cinque terre. Many cafes, shops, and restaurants in the immediate area.
Make sure to check your email before arriving so that you go to the right check in spot. You have to check in at the cantina which is a three minute walk away. We walked quite a bit with heavy luggage not knowing this. There is also no elevator in the building which is fine because the rooms are on the second floor. Also the water heater is tiny, so long hot showers are not possible.
