The room I was allocated was neat and tidy, cleaned nicely everyday. However, these is some noise every time a train stops at the station as the hotel shares the Metro Station building. The location is therefore good but there are quite a few rough sleepers around the station at night, they donโ€™t bother you but you can certainly smell the urine. Possibly not a suitable location for a single female guest. Also entrance to the hotel, at all times is via a door bell because the lobby is one floor up.

The breakfast is beautifully laid out. These is a lot of staff on hand to keep everything freshened. The coffee is served to your requirements and not only Italian style. There are some boiled eggs and scrambled eggs, that is nearest to anything resembling โ€˜cooked breakfastโ€™, but these not hot. The fruit juice is watered down so much that it possible correct to describe it as โ€˜favoured waterโ€™. Overall the breakfast is very โ€˜continentalโ€™ as you would expect in Italy.

Very well located in Mergellina metro station, with quick access to the city center, the metro trains and to the marina and or ferry lines.

Room had a blocked window, there was no natural light. We had a pick-up scheduled at 7:00AM, we had no person at reception to check out at 6:50AM though normally check-out is supposed to be done between 6:30 and 11:00. Also would have appreciated more flexibility for an early check-in on arrival, our request was denied though it did not look the hotel was full.

The stay at the Metro 900 hotel was of poor quality. The price of a room in this hotel in relation to the way it looks and presents itself is very high. The hotel has a shabby air, with an old creaking elevator, the rooms are small and have an old air. I paid approx. 700 euros for 5 nights of accommodation with breakfast, but I could only benefit from the morning meal on two days because the other days I was on trips. We asked the receptionist to prepare some takeaway food for us and she replied that they do not have this practice. Breakfast was the same every day, undifferentiated, with a small stand of products that could be eaten at the table (omelet, sausages, some pressed ham, some cheese) and with a large stand of sweets to look good in the pictures. The staff was nowhere to be found in the hotel. One day I needed a corkscrew from the bar and there was no one there. With great difficulty, the receptionist moved and solved the problem, but it was clear that she was not pleased at all. I did not receive any indication or any leaflet. Everything was very cold and unwelcoming. When leaving the hotel, at check out, no one took our keys because there was no one at the reception. I left them at the reception on the desk. In conclusion, a hotel with a shabby air, which does not deserve its 4 stars nor the peppery price.

In our room the bed was placed in such a way that when someone opens the door there is no privacy at all. So if you are sleeping and your partner wants out of the room to get some drinks or drinks are delivered to your room, everyone in the hallway can see you lying in bed.

No parking possibilities, so if you come with a car is a big problem to find a parking. To enter the building (because the hotel is inside the building) you need to ring for the reception for them to open the door, you donโ€™t get a card or key to entry the building whenever you want.

The location is outstanding. The hotel is right next door the Metro/Train station. Really convenient and inexpensive to travel into the main centre if you wanted to. But there were a few bars and restaurants nearby as well.

Stayed with a large group for a wedding and returned very late one night but this was no issue at all as the reception was 24hrs. Hotel itself is a beautiful building with excellent transport links. The breakfast was fresh and delicious one of our party is gluten intolerant but it was no problem at all and a varied selection was provided by prior request. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the staff were exceptionally helpful but I must make a special mention to Miguel on reception โ€“ at the end of our stay I was having difficulty arranging transport in Ischia for the next part of our travels due to my inability to speak Italian he communicated this to a taxi driver and messaged confirming prices and pick up location for me. This made our onward journey so smooth, and we are very grateful to him for going above and beyond. He made sure all the details were accurate for me which I feel makes him such a valuable member staff. THANK YOU SO MUCH MIGUEL. Happily, stay here again should we return to Mergellina, overall experience was fantastic thank you Hotel Metro 900.

Itโ€™s very hard to say, probably the beds were comfortable

1. A family suite for 4 people( 2 rooms) has only a tiny closet with 6 hangers, 2 cups, 2,5 towels. 2. The room was on the 3rd floor but the elevator goes to the second only, so you are obliged to drag your luggage through 30 steep tiny stairs by yourself. We came as a family to enjoy a 2 days stay before a cruise , so we had 3 large suitcases and it was a nightmare. 2. The location is on the rail station, quite a dodgy neighbourhood with no attractions around 4. The staff is unbelievable. The guy on the reception replies โ€œExcuse meโ€ on absolutely any question you ask him. Zero willingness to help and constant eye rolling. When we were checking out and my husband was away I asked to help me with dragging the suitcases down but got a response: There is no one available, go do it yourself. 5. There is a rooftop but it doesnโ€™t work in the evenings as the staff is too lazy to serve drinks there. 6. Breakfast is very sad: fried eggs are floating in some liquid, no veggies, meat selection is represented by one type of ham plus creepy -looking boiled cold sausages which they cut in peaces. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choices and superb coffee Right next to Napoli Mergellina station., so very easy to travel to other places which was our plan. The area around always felt safe. We even managed to find the spot the pencil drawing was done in 1944. A very successful trip, the receptionist explained how to get to all the places listed on the scroll and on the last day we found Sessa Aurunca-bingo

I highly recommend this hotel, everything was 10/10! We arrived early and were able to safely leave our bags at the hotel so we could explore the area. The room was spacious, well furnished and perfectly clean, the bed linen and towels were very clean. The room had everything we needed, including a charger for our phones. The hotel is very secure, with CCTV and 24hr reception. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice including gluten free and vegan options. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. The hotel is just a short walk to the waterfront and we walked most places, it only took an hour to walk to the MANN. If you donโ€™t want to walk, one of the city sightseeing tour bus stops is only a short walk away. On checking out we were able to leave our bags again so we could enjoy our last few hours before catching our flight home.

Right next to the metro.

Booking.com description says it has Air conditioning, but this is incorrect. We were told that a/c is off for the winter (for April), and only the heater works for the entire hotel. We were only told this after we asked for help in turning it on. While I understand this may be policy, I wouldnโ€™t have booked the hotel if I knew this. It would be helpful if this is made clear from the description. The room was therefore extremely uncomfortable during the night - the temperature was 26C (78.8F) during the night.

Our recent one-night stay at your hotel, commencing after 8:30 PM due to an unfortunate prior accommodation experience, was exceptionally positive. We were highly impressed with the overall quality of our stay. The breakfast offered a great selection, and the service provided by your staff was consistently attentive. The hotel's location is truly outstanding, offering convenient walking access to the port and a wide array of excellent restaurants and bars. The adjacent metro station is also a significant advantage. We wish to extend a special thank you to the morning reception staff member who was on duty on July 5th. There is not a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and viceversa.

We stayed here for a night and found the hotel to be nicely appointed and easy the find. The location is excellent for travelers coming by train. The room was lovely and the bar was very nice. The breakfast had a large selection of food and the staff were all very kind and helpful.

I can't think of anything that could have been better.

Our room was very good. Location was a bit off where we always needed to go so taxis cost us quite a bit. Hotel was spotless and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was ok. Hardly any hot food available.

Great location that was close enough to walk to the boardwalk by the sea as well as many restaurants. Breakfast was elaborate & delicious. It was clean & the staff was very pleasant & helpful. It was really safe since we must be buzzed in by the reception & the door was locked at all times. The hotel is conveniently located in the same building as the Metro. We would definitely stay there again & highly recommend.
