We unexpectedly extended our stay in Siena and booked this hotel last minute. Staff were very kind, breakfast (although starchy as is the norm in Italy) was lovely both out doors and in (one day of rain). Location is literally across the street from the escalators up into the city which was very convenient. Rooms are very clean and bed was comfy.

There is traffic noise if you have street facing room - but the city shuts down early so it was not a problem. We had a problem with the A/C leaking water onto the floor which the staff were very apologetic about but no one came to fix. They did provide extra towels and the A/C still worked so it was ok. The rooms are dated but they are clean and well appointed.

The best thing was by far the staff! They were extremely helpful and friendly! The location was also very good. I was travelling with family that can not walk much and the escalators for the city center are right in front of the hotel. And because it is not in the middle of the city center it is a really calm place. Will definitely be going back to the city and staying with them.

The only thing missing would be a small fridge on the triple room that we stayed.

Very nice and clean hotel with friendly and welcoming service. Great price/quality ratio. Good breakfast with variety and allergy/special diet options. I don't have any restrictions myself but I noticed that the options were grand. There is also a beautiful garden in the summer! Excellent location next to the old town of Siena. The escalator up to the old town is right next to the hotel with access to all nice restaurants and sights. Parking is 7 a day and very conveniently on the other side of the street.

Excellent location. At 50 m there is an elevator that leads to the old town center. The room is small and clean and quite enough to stay for a few days. The breakfast is excellent. Parking provided for a small fee. The bathroom needs to be renovated. The equipment is quite old. Towels, or if they can be called that, need to be replaced with real terry towels.

Instead of cloth towels, put terry towels, which should have been standard in every hotel for a long time.

Best thing about this hotel is location, few minutes from escalators that takes you right to the old city. Stuff is friendly and ready to help. Garden is a nice bonus as rooms don't have a balcony.

There was a large group of young students staying in the hotel that disturbed other guests, including during the night. We couldn't sleep so we complained with reception. They called the teacher responsible for the group but it didn't resolve the situation.

The staff! They were very helpful and polite. The location is very good, giving quick access to the most exciting part of the town, via the escalators located right next to the hotel. The breakfast was just ok.

The hotel is a little bit outdated, and our room was pretty small. It was also a bit noisy and we were able to hear every sound from the surrounding rooms. Although, the noise was mainly from a group of kids on a school trip, so maybe our experience was influenced by that fact. There was no fridge in the room.

Location was great, can walk here from the train station takes around 20 minutes if you have baggage it is downhill which makes the walk up a little harder but its not too steep. Closely located to the old city and you can access it via escalators which is great as youll do a lot of walking once inside the old city. Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast due to having other plans so cannot comment on that. Offer to store your luggage if you arrive before check in.

Turns out the hotel is a one minute walk to a free escalator that takes you to the heart of town with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops AND sites (Duomo and other churches). Breakfast was included and was served, weather permitting, on a charming patio.

The room was a little small but that's not really that important. Bed was comfortable - much more important. I do wish they had a laundry service.

The hotel was in the perfect spot for us oldies, being close to an escalator which took you up the steep hill to the old city. Breakfast was excellent, good choice. The room was quiet as requested, clean and very comfortable.

The meal we had one evening wasn't very good, so we did not eat there again, although we had heard others had better meals.

The location gave easy access to the very heart of the city centre through 5 flights of escalators which one simply crossed the road to access. from .the entry to the Hotel. - You were in the City in the space of a few minutes. The breakfast was sumptuous and set in an enchanting garden. The room was a miracle of cleanliness: daily cleaned and linen of pristine freshness. .

Perhaps a fan in the bedroom would have helped on those unusually warm days.

Very nice and helpful staff. Clean, a little bit old-fashioned, but nice room with a small fridge. Location next to the stairs perfect.

The biggest problem was the near street with motorbike traffic late in the night and vehicles early in the morning. It is hard to sleep well there. Breakfast was ok, but worser (less fresh products, more boxed products) than 4 years ago.

Location is fabulous, right below the entrance to the old town, with a convenient public escalators taking you up to the old city center (literally across the street!). In general we were satisfied with the hotel. The receptionists are extremely nice and helpful, the location is pretty central - the old town is just right at the door. We appreciated the parking opportunity since it was the only one private parking we had found in the center.

Our room was rather noisy unfortunately since the windows went to a central street. Parking is a bit complicated using garages where parking cars may need to be moved so that other parking cars behind them can leave. For breakfast we missed any vegetables - they did not offer any unfortunately. We had a small issue with the restaurant of the hotel at dinner for waiting long to be able to order but upon raising it the personal was absolutely helpful and addressed it right away, so that was totally alright.

The kindness of the recepcionists.

The waiter "Marco" of the hotel's restaurant very rude. We had dinner one night and he didn't explain the menu. He insisted to speak in very fast italian. It was hard to understand. I asked for menu of drinks and he didn't get. Impatient. This kind of person shouldn't work with the public. It was a shame for the hotel.

Friendly staff and good location. Its right in front of the escalators that take you to the historic center which is very practical. The breakfast was good.

It is very outdated, the decoration is very old and the towels are terrible, they looked and felt like table cloths. You can hear all the noise from the hall.
