The location of this Hotel is superb, u couldn't be any more central in Sirmone. We have stayed in many Hotels and this is by far the most spotless Hotel we have stayed in. The Beds are so comfortable and the showers were powerful. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels were changed everyday.The Breakfast was unbelievable the variety of fruit, juices, cakes, breads. The hot food scramble eggs bacon etc loads to choose from!! The staff were outstanding very friendly especially the breakfast staff and the accommodation staff. Overall we had a wonderful experience with this hotel and would highly recommend for couples.

With a central location comes noise from the street. I kept the windows locked most of the time, so it was not a huge problem.
AC turned itself on and off as it wished, even though I kept the windows locked and held a room card in the card holder. I couldn't regulate it and it was annoying.

Very attractive hotel in a perfect location within the walls of Sirmione. Everything were as discribed in the website. The staff was helpful and extremely kind! The room price was reasonable and the breakfast excellent! There is a very nice service with a shuttle from the secured parking to the hotel. I personally recommend the place.

Lovely little hotel in the centre of Sirmione. Everything is within walking distance. Clean, comfortable rooms - we had the lake view which was lovely. You can have breakfast on the terrace (for 5β¬ extra pp). We even had organ music from the church next door in the background. The hotel had a list of restaurant recommendations which were helpful.
You can arrange for parking through the hotel, leaving the car in a car park outside the town centre (driving into town is restriced). It's not cheap but worth it if you're driving, as finding public parking during high season is difficult. The car park will transfer you and your luggage to the hotel (and back) which is great.
Sirmione is heaving under the pressure of tourists, but in the evenings there are less crowds and exploring the town is more pleasant.

The location of the hotel is very good, right inside the wall's of Sirmione, so very convenient to walk everywhere.
The room was clean and a good size for 3 adults, you can tell that they were recently renewed.
Breakfast included both sweet and salty options.
In the room, the air conditioning situation was a nightmare. There was no remote and it could only be controlled from a wall command, so you had to get up during the night to start it/turn it off or adjust the temperature. The air was blowing directly towards the bed and it was not possible to move or regulate the blades away from the bed so it was freezing, because even at the lower setting the air was coming out very strong and very cold. It was really annoying sleeping like that.
Our room was also located above some kitchen area and right next to one of those staff rooms where sheets and cleaning supplies are stored, so especially on the Sunday, at 6 in the morning we were woken up by loud talking and noises coming from below and next to us. Very bothersome.
Breakfast is another area that could be improved: the table with most of the sweet options sits right next to a table for guests, so you have the impression to invade their personal space when picking up your food. Personally, I'd have hated being the family sitting right next to the breakfast table. The options and variety could be improved, to only have one type of bread in a country like Italy seems a bit cheap. Also the coffee quality was not very good.

Nice location, quiet street, but still extremely central. Nice staff and beautiful view from the terraces.
It might be good for other travelers to know that a "twin size bed" is no twin but a hard and small single bed. Also, the shower room was cramped but fresh. The sound isolation is poor in between rooms, which gets awkward, and breakfast could have some variety and open earlier since many tours start early.

Staff in restaurant were excellent and were very accommodating to any special requirement s of food you required. They were very friendly and helpful. Staff member cleaning room was also very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure your room was always made comfortable. The location was much better than anticipated, we arrived into Simone via a ferry and walked to our accommodation within a couple of minutes. Although we were right in the centre of Simione by the castle among the hustle and bustle of tourist our accommodation was very peaceful. The added bonus to the accommodation was the rooftop terrace where you could relax with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Excellent choice, the only thing i would say, is the photos of the hotel do not provide a realistic view. The hotel is much better and i would certainly return to this hotel again as it is an excellent spot for accessing the ferries, and buses. Well done.

Great location in the heart of the historic centre of Sirmione - close to the castle, and only a short walk to the shuttle bus service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with hot, cold, savoury and sweet options. Our room had a beautiful view over lake Garda.
It seemed wrong to charge extra to enjoy your breakfast on the first-floor balcony. We loved the breakfast room and would not have wanted to sit outside in the breeze anyway, but why not rather do it on a first come, first served basis?

The location of the hotel was excellent and just what we wanted. Very close for walking to anything we wanted to, including the ruins. Hotel very clean and checking smooth. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices, even fresh baked items. Hotel was quiet even though it was very close to the busiest areas. Many restaurants to choose from. As we came by train, our stop was Desenzano del Garda, so it is too far to walk to this area. There is public transit, but we chose to go by taxi, which was about 25 euros (we had expected this)

A great location. Staff were very friendly and would offer great suggestions for things to do and places to go and how to best get there. The hotel and rooms were always very clean.
Some of the fittings in the bathroom were very loose - the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the shower head would not hold it'd place and would drop to a very low level

My room was above a street with a cafe/bar downstairs and from 6am there was a lot of noise from what I assume was people arriving to work and noise of plates; it sounded as though the window were open.
Receptionist wasn't up to date with bus timetables and gave me the wrong information (I got the info required from the tourist office but I had to wait til the last minute for the tourist office to open).
I inquired about taxi prices with reception also and she gave me a rough idea, but there was no offer to double check or ring a taxi company and find out for sure, or even to organize a taxi for the next morning. Little details you'd expect from a hotel.

Great location within the old city, for anyone planning to come by car then there is a parking area 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes shuttle straight to the hotel. The breakfast was nice and varied, and the staff was always smiling and helpful. Most importantly - a really good price that makes the deal efficient.

The hotel is very well situated with beautiful view over the lake. It also has two balconies where you can observe the panoramic view. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are very clear and have elegant/classic furniture. Although they are new, they still give a classic touch to the place. The breakfast was delicious.
The hotel did not have parking. They offer, however, like many others from this "restricted" area, parking possibilities in a nearby parking lot. Be aware that you need to pay extra for this service and it's not cheap.

Close to everything. As soon as you enter the old town it is right next to the Scaliger Castle. Quiet street and less busy. Town shopping and restaurants begin right around the corner. This was our second time staying at Hotel Degli Oleandri. That is how much we enjoyed it. Great breakfast included and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
The building is old original in old town Sirmione. We like that. But keep in mind that because of the age of the infrastructure you can hear between walls if people are loud and hear sounds in the hallway. The hallways are wood but thatβs how they keep everything clean. It wasnβt enough to bother my family and we prefer clean. But if you are picky or are looking for high-end this wonβt be the place for you. Rooms are smaller. But again we didnβt mind this.

The proximity to everything was fantastic. The staff was so warm and welcoming, even hoped us with some baggage storage while we had a slight delay with a train.
We were in the very top room, and the bathroom outside of the room had a harder time flushing. But we made a mention of it to the staff, and everything was fine

Great location. Clean. Nice staff. Slow, very slow WiFi! If you have hard time waking up the steps, make sure to ask for a room that doesnβt require to go up 3 huge steps to get in the bathroom! The safe was not mounted to the wall all. You can just pick it up and go! Otherwise, very nice hotel. Nice staff as I mentioned.

The location was great. We took the ferry to Sirmione and it took us less than 5 minutes to walk from the ferry. It is right in the heart of Sirmione. It has a quaint charm. The breakfast was very substantial. There was something available for just about everyone. The staff were very kind and helpful.
The room was so small (as you might expect in a historical area) We were only there for one night and struggled to move around our suitcases. There was a crack in the shower pan so water flowed out onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. The room had been scented and they over did it in our room. To the point that we felt ill.

I booked to sleep in 3rd and didnβt stay there as the room was not clean and smelly , the towels were in the floor too.
I went back to the hotel on 4th and asked the receptionist again on 4th at 3.00 pm to change the towels as the other two guest will come ( they didnβt manage to come in 3rd hence arrived on 4th ) .
They didnβt change the towels at all. It was very disappointing

I booked this hotel last minute and was pleasantly surprised at what a convenient location it was in the old town historical center, while at the same time being very quiet. There were two terraces, which had an amazing view of the lake and the city walls, and the breakfast had a variety of fresh fruit and yogurt and in-house baked goods. The breakfast staff was super attentive and made me a fresh hot cappuccino upon walking in to the dining room that morning. Wifi also worked great on the second floor. The rooms and hotel interior are clean and decorated with a historical touch.
Upon checking out, the front desk staff tapped the USD currency option on my credit card instead of Euros and added another 5% transaction fee onto my total cost ? After a few explanations, she eventually understood that selecting the USD option charged more on my credit card, but I was a little surprised that the hotel staff wasnβt trained on basic foreign credit card transaction fees.

Location was perfect, in the heart of Sirmioni. breakfast was the best we had in our cross Europe trip. The room was very nice/spacious. The receptionist was exceptional, catering to our every need. The veranda was a wonderful haven.
Keep the top Veranda open in the night. Taxi / trans during peak season is hard, reserve a car before you get to lake Garda if peak season.
