The location was great, 10 minutes from the station, 5 minutes from the sea and 10 minutes to the very center of the city.
Staff was very kind, and the breakfast was good. A coffee machine and refrigerator are available in the common kitchen.
There were two shared bathrooms available, and the room was very large.
Great value for little money.
Nothing in particular, but there were no slippers in the property, so don't forget to bring yours ;-)

Be prepared to carry your luggage 3 floors on stairs (75 steps). The paid parking (from 8 to 20) is available on the nearby streets,on the blue line. It is a very busy area but not impossible to find a place.
Great location! The shared spaces, like the entrance an the bathrooms look nice. The price is also great.
The room itself didn't feel very clean: lots of hairs in the bed and surfaces were sticky (including the floor). Doors and light switches were dingy. There were no curtains, so it gets light very soon. At breakfast the stuff like cheese and ham wasn't cooled en looked like it was out there for a long time (keep in mind: there's no air-conditioning and it was around 35Β°C). I still ate the ham, but I completely regretted it later on.

The Owner was very kind, smiling and friendly. She made us a wonderfull breakfast 1/2 hour early as we had to lave early at our bikes. The bikes were safely stored at the staircase entrance in the old building that couldn't be more centrally located in Trieste. The flat on third floor and room was furniced with old furniture and it gave a very cousy atmoshere. Of course everything including the two shared bathrooms was clean.. Would definately stay longer if we had to stay.
I cannot bring annything to mind ?

What a wonderful find in Trieste! The building is centrally located, and the bed and breakfast are absolutely adorable as well as cozy. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Daniela was a welcoming and kind host, and breakfast was ample as well as delicious. No issues sharing the bathrooms. :) I also loved that it was only an 8 minute walk to the train station. Stay here if in Trieste!

There is not a note that the room is on the third (European) floor and no lift. For those with limited mobility best to locate another facility. Only two bathrooms to share for several guests. While for me not an issue but for others it may be. Parking is available on the street but hard to come by; especially if you have larger vehicles. There is parking less than 1km from the B&B where you can park. After 2000 spaces become available and you can move your vehicle. Parking is free 2000 to 0800.

Friendly, welcoming landlady, who wasn't phased by my arriving after midnight due to plan delay. Located five minutes walk from harbour front, and near major piazza, tourist places, and restaurants/cafes/pubs.
Would have been even better if the rooms had been en suite, but I knew this wasn't going to the the case when booking - and the showering facilities were impressive.

This place is very conveniently located, central, and minutes from the bus & train staions.
The owner is very efficient. She owns 2 B&B in the same building. Both have the same set up of 2 shared bathrooms & a dining room for breakfast.
This one is on the 3rd floor without elevator, but we preferred this one because it felt more like a private home than a hotel. The bedroom we had, Mathilde, was very spacious.
Another option is the Empire 1970 on the first floor (without elevator).
A nice feature there was a coffee machine in the corridor, through the day, free. Only 3 bedrooms share 2 large bathrooms versus 4 at Al Cucherle. The bedroom there that we saw was not as much to our taste.
A few more outlets to charge our 3 phones would have been appreciated.

The rooms were nicely decorated in a personal and romantic style and the bathrooms were big and clean. It was close to the railway station and the town centre. Breakfast was good with quite a few choices.
The lady who runs it was not very friendly. We did not feel welcome at all. Not as much as a smile. We both got the feeling that she just wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. It also said in the information that you could store your luggage, but that wasn't really true. She is sometimes out for hours and then you have no access to the building.

Dislike- apartment is on the 3th floor so when you have small kid is little bit exhausted to go up and down ( no elevators). The host was very accommodating and let us leave our bags until it was time to catch our train. It is within walking distance the train and bus stations and the canal area and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was adequate and the coffee good.
You do have to walk up 3 flights of stairs which I missed in the write up. It is an old building and has an old building smell.
