Interesting place to explore in close proximity to the Hotel are Piazza dell Unita d Italia, Teatro romano, Verdi Theatre, Arco di Riccardo, Old Stock Exchange Building, Trieste Tourist Office, Museo Revoltella, Civico Museo di Storia ed Arte, San Giusto Cathedral and castle, Morpurgo Museum Museo Morpurgo and others.
Yes, Pets Allowed, , but it's always best to call ahead to confirm.
Location - right near main square, 15 minutes walk from bus and train station. Staff were pleasant.
Small, cell-like room, old fashioned decor, creaky lift that sometimes got stuck. Air con not working when I arrived, had to wait for maintenance. Coffee machine made horrible tasting coffee - a simple kettle would have been much better.

Service helped us store our bikes. Great place right at the nice plaza. They refill the minibar for free, which is great. Coke, Fanta, water. I liked that.
Breakfast was good but not superb. Freshly pressed orange juice, good bread. Ham, dauand, cheese, beget.

Great location, room was larger than expected.
The room was a little undated and tired, my lights/powerpoints didn't work on one of the nights, possibly due to an overload issue in my room?

bed and mattress were perfect, resulting in high comfort
location is perfect for exploring the cit, particularly the area of the center
Check-in an out was in the hotel opposite side o the street and wasn’t immediately clear. Booking conflation didn’t indicated that as it did not indicate the need to pay for Parking the car.
The bathube wasn’t comfortable at all to have a shower , despite the devices present….. very bad design ….

Fabulous property .. although it’s technically an annexe to the Duche Hotel, the facilities were more than adequate for our needs. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The concierge offered excellent advice on where to go and what to see. Highly recommended. Central location.. 20 m from the central square.
The keycard didn’t work.. we used a physical key. I believe it’s teething problems with the technology. A minor detail, but worth mentioning.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was close to everything and it was like a hidden gem. The staff was very friendly. I could see the city center from my room. Check-in is at the hotel across the street, but it was a smooth check-in process. Someone was available to take my bags to my room. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant's food was amazing.

Perfect location, clean, quality rooms.
Level of service at Vis-a-Vis side poor. Breakfast was truly inadequate for this price level. Valet service is 30€ a night and if I hadnt walked over myself to reception in the adjacent building after 45 mins, I'd still be waiting there.

Excellent service received from Head Concierge Ramon, Matthew and other staff of Duchi D Aosta and Hotel Vis a Vis. They went beyond beyond the norm and truly made a difference in our stay. Traveling with my husband and 2 seniors, they made life so much easier. Thank you guys. Best value, excellent location just next to the square and across the cruise terminal, clean, comfortable, breakfast was very good too. Highly recommend!! Will stay again.

Very helpful staff, even calling me a cab from the train to the hotel. The hotel felt elegant and the buffet breakfast was wonderful. They recommended a pleasant restaurant close by that as a tourist we may not have found. The hotel is an easy walk to the cruise ship dock.
