Cleanliness and the location. It is in the city centre, very close to shops and restaurants and we reach the port for our cruise with just a few minutes walk.
The noise from the bar/club at night. They were partying until 4 am and it was impossible to sleep.

Really only thing was its location could not have been better, to Piazza Unita Ts, restaurants, shops etc, and close to cruise ports. Unit presented well, a little more cleaning needed (floors etc).
Lift to third floor out of order, asked for assistance for a porter (international tourist with over 25kg luggage plus carryon and backpack, I'm 70 female), no reply! Took 30mins for me to get to room. For a one night stay there was mangles tea bags but no coffee, milk or bottle water supplied. Only four units so no big deal for better service.

Completely anonymous, none welcoming nor help : the TV didn't work, no instructions, and my request was completely ignored. The apartment is pleasant, but the equipment is rudimentary : no kitchen towel, no salt, no bowl... Could be improved.

The location is super convenient for anyone who wants to be in the center of an old, active neighborhood..
There are at least two convenient markets nearby plus attractions and restaurants.
1. The confusion of the address. Also I don't think there was advance notice that the apartment was in a pedestrian-only area.
2. I love to cook in Italy an found the kitchen insufficient.

Wonderful location, just 100 meters to the main piazza. Ancient building with completely modern updates throughout. The apartment door was the most secure residential door I’ve ever seen.

It's so nice to have a spacious apartment, compared with the typical hotel rooms I've stayed in. Great location: just a minute's walk from the Piazza Unità d'Italia, but in a quiet little alleyway (with an excellent restaurant at the corner). Very nice facilities: a spacious bathroom with a washing machine (which I didn't use) and a drying rack (which I did use); and a kitchen that easily accommodated my (limited) needs. And a nice table to eat at and sort through my travel materials.
There were two hiccups during the remote check-in: outdated instructions for wi-fi, and the air conditioning didn't work. The first was easily remedied through messages on WhatsApp. The second was fixed the next day -- there was a card missing that had to be inserted just inside the door.

The location was superb. Right in the heart of the city and a very short walk to lots of cafes and shops and the sea front.
It is a bit tucked away in a small pedestrianised back ally, but it is well lit at night and well used so not at all intimidating. The address was a little awkward to find due to the layout of the old streets but we found it! There is no parking at the property but we didn't need it anyway.
The kitchen could have done with a bit more crockery and cutlery, it had just enough. A little more and a few more coffee capsules would have been appreciated. Everything else was pretty much as we would wish for. Clean and tidy and a quiet night's sleep!
Be aware that although the building has lifts to all floors to get to the lift you have to negotiate a short flight of stairs... It is a very old building full of charm though.

It was beautiful. Stylish, well appointed. Had everything I could have possibly needed, in a perfect location. I couldn’t fault it at all.
Only that somehow mosquitoes got in. The manager kindly got me some spray, though I think they were active near the outside entrance. I had several bites. The manager thought it was from some nearby building work and may have dealt with the issue by now.

Over all the apartment was fine, clean and located in the absolute center of Trieste.
Despite of this we won't come back, and cant recommend this place to anyone.
We arrived late on a friday, which we let them know and they said it was no problem.
The locks are very tight (as stated in other reviews) and the handle of our key broke when we tried to open the door. It was possible to withdraw the key, but not to open the door. Only one key was given to us, even though we were three people staying there.
This left us stuck outside the apartment at night. The "emergency" number listed is only open 8 AM - 7 PM. The restaurant next door managed to get a hold of the owner, who said they would send someone ASAP. So we stayed there instead of going to a hostel in hopes of the situation being resolved quickly.
We ended up "sleeping" in the staircase and 8 AM next morning no one had showed up or even contacted us.
We called the emergency number at 8AM and was met with the rudest and scariest man, that yelled and laughed at us. Even though we tried to explain our predicament calmly. He insisted that we had broken the key, and said that it was our problem. The handle of the key did have cracks in it when we got it, but that is besides the point, because we just needed help getting in. We were tired and desperate at that point.
He hung up the phone, and we didnt know what to do. Fortunately the company that handles communication for the place contacted us after seing our numerous desperate emails and whatsapp messages during the night. It was the nicest girl that phoned us and she resolved the issue.
We ended up with a refund for part of that night, but we should not have had to pay for the first night at all. Furthermore no amount is worth the experience we had with the owner, who instead of helping us, laughed at, yelled at and hung up on us.
We had no issues with the new key we got. The locks are very tight though

The location was wonderful, and close to the city center square. (literally a one minute walk) The apartment was clean, attractive, and all of the amenities worked well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
It would have been nice to have detergent for the washing machine, as the description of the property advertises having this appliance. (that way the customer doesn't have to make a special trip for detergent after checking in). This is, however, a minor inconvenience.

The location is excellent, right in the centre of Trieste and close to everything. Public car park is around the corner and tje hosts have secured 15% off the 20 EUR daily ticket. Appartment is on the 5th floor, the elevator takes you to the 4th one. There is a microwave, hotplates, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice and new. I forgot my phone charger and the management agreed to post it to my home.
I did not like that I got charged extra 20 EUR as a "punishment" because the Booking.com wrongly evidented the age of my child as 1 instead of 15. The mgmt imposed the charge despite Booking.com advertising the property for 2 adults at the same price.

Iffy shower recess but I appreciate the revamp that must have been required to bring this building up to the standard it is now, which is excellent. One of my petty pet hates is having a washing machine but no washing powder.

Loved the location, nice kitchen, quiet at night but close to the centre of Trieste. Close to restaurants, 15 minute walk to the train station, very comfy, good shower/bathroom. Comfortable bed, great price.
There were a few minor things, no sharp knife or chopping block, no tea towel to wipe dishes in the kitchen. There’s no salt & pepper or oil for cooking even though it’s a fully equipped kitchen. No views (the apartment description says city views & landmark views but there were no views, not that I minded but the description needs amending) The coffee machine only takes large pods which no supermarket stocks and there was only one pod supplied. The Illy shop only sells them in boxes of 18! Not suitable for a 2-3 day stay. Perhaps a change of machine to one that takes small pods or supplying at least one pod for each day? The light over the kitchen either doesn’t work or I couldn’t find the switch for it so it was rather dark trying to cook.

The property was lovely however I felt the cooking facilities lacked some useful items, like a sharp knife, a toaster, instructions on how to use the coffee machine. I requested an extra toilet roll, on my last full day (just in case I ran out) and was told that housekeeping said you only get some at the start of your stay and that you have to provide your own. It was my last day, and can understand if you are staying, say a week, then it's expected you'd buy your own toilet paper, but for a 3 night stay it's ridiculous that you are expected to buy a pack of toilet rolls (which u can't buy in single packs) for one night's use. However had I been allowed an extra toilet roll it wouldn't actually have been used as I didn't finish the one I was given. I had only requested another one as a precaution in case I ran out. I have stayed in many self catering apartments where toilet roll and various other kitchen/bathroom items are freely available.
These negatives mean I would not choose ro stay here again.

The apartment is clean, cosy and 2 minutes walk from Piazza Unita d'Italia. There are air conditioner, washing machine, dishes,glasses and coffee maker. In the bathroom there are clean towels, hand soap, toilet paper and shower gel. The communication with host was very easy. There is parking nearby. The 24h in Park San Gusto garage costs 22 euros and host gave us discount as gift. I hope I'll be back soon.
