The room is very big, has one additional bed and a small kitchen. The room is also very quiet.

The aircon cannot be used in the end of May.. It is a bit hot in the room. The staff will call you if you still have not checked out at 10am. Even though it is supposed to be at 10:30am.

Location, size and comfort of the room.

Being an old building, there are 2 sets of steps to come up before getting to the reception desk. The elevator stops in between the sets of steps which means a lot of dragging of suitcases. Not sure what they could do about it but it would not be great for elderly people as they don’t have a porter. Hotel does not have any restaurant, which we knew, so a small coffee/tea facility in the lobby waiting area would have been nice.

The hotel was within easy walking distance to many amenities.

There was not a wifi connection in our room and the staff was completely indifferent to it.

It is a very nice aparthotel in the centre of Trieste. Easy to find, easy to park on the street. The personal is very kind and efficient. The apartment is nice and clean, the bed is comfortable. We have found a coffee powder in the kitchen and the coffee we made was really excellent.

The only weak point is a rubbish collection at 2am just under the windows that go to the street
