The location to Subway or busses is excellent. They have a shuttle to the airportโ€™s with a cost, which is quite convenient. The two large train stations are about a 20 min cab ride. You could use the subway too. Thereโ€™s a station entrance right outside the hotel.

Unfortunately, there was nothing we liked about our stay.

Our 10-night stay at ANA InterContinental Tokyo from December 23 to January 2 was a complete disappointment. Despite spending 3 million JPY on a room and suite, the experience fell far below 5-star expectations. From the start, no staff member greeted us by name or made us feel valued, even after such a long stay. It felt impersonal, like we were just another booking in a massive operation. On our second night, my husband experienced severe muscle inflammation (10/10 pain) and went to reception at 1 AM seeking help. The staff said they couldnโ€™t provide medication and redirected him to the bellman. After repeating his situation, someone was finally sent to a pharmacy for ibuprofen. He fell asleep at 5 AM after hours of extreme pain. Shockingly, no one followed up or acknowledged the incident throughout our stay. The club lounge was chaotic and clearly understaffed. While the team tried their best, service was painfully slow. Breakfast, both in the Atrium and lounge, lacked variety, with the same uninspired menu every day. Lounge rules about children on the 35th and 36th floors were also confusing due to poor signage. Dining at the steakhouse was equally frustrating. Water and utensils had to be requested repeatedly despite being seated at the bar counter. Beds were too hard, pillows too soft, and overall sleep quality was poor. At checkout, despite being told payment via iPhone touch pay was possible, staff insisted otherwise, causing unnecessary delays. For a luxury hotel, the lack of warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism was glaring. Our family tried hard to think of one positive aspect of our stayโ€”and couldnโ€™t. A deeply disappointing experience.

I love this Hotel! Its stunning, modern, clean, comfortable, the staff are absolutely beautiful people and such hard workers, with a train station just outside the hotel. The rooms are large for Tokyo. The breakfast is excellent. When we are back in Tokyo this is where I'll be booking! I cannot speak more highly of this Hotel.

the sofa bed was for one person, could have been bigger. The room did fit two adults and two kids but this was with one adult and two children comfortably on the king bed, and the other adult on the single sofa bed. With 4 suitcases there wasn't enough room to spread out. However, it is Japan and the other services the hotel provides more than make up for the snug room.

The breakfafst has a lot of variety, the kids love the choco fountain. The staff are so nice. In the room hotel we can set the temperature until 27 celcius so we can feel a little bit warm in the winter.

There is no convinient stores or mini mart near the hotel as fas as my eyes can see , but actually we use rent car so it doesnโ€™t really matter.

Stayed for 4 nights in early Jan 2025. We had one of the new suites so all four of us (4yo and 2yo children) could stay in the same room and still have space to walk around, the room was really comfortable and in a quiet corner of the floor. The breakfast served in the club lounge was excellent, we ordered room service on the night we arrived and we also dined in the lobby lounge on the day we checked out and the food options from the restaurants that were served there ala carte were also great! I think the restaurants and food in general at this hotel are all amazing.

As our suite was not on the club floors, husband wished we didn't have to change lifts to get up to the lounge but that's just cause one of our child has mild ASD and it irritated him a little in the beginning that we were heading up instead of down. He got used to the routine though so its alright in the end.

The conference that I need to attend was at this hotel, so it made sense to stay here, as it only takes a couple of minutes to go to my room during breaks. It is next to Tameike Sanno station, and it's a few stops to Tokyo Station, Ginza, Fish market. And there are always a few taxis downstairs waiting. You can book the airport bus to pick you up from the hotel to go to the airport, as long as your travel times are within the hotel bus operating hours. Staff extremely helpful. This is one of the more expensive hotels, but for work related travels (tax deductible), not a issue. For privately self funded trips, I probably will choose a cheaper hotel though.

I wish this hotel was closer to Tokyo station because we had to get a Taxi to meet up with Klook Tour groups very early in the mornings. To get to Tokyo station, it's a bit of a walk through all the platforms in Tameike Sanno station, and the signs were a bit confusing, so I go lost the first day.

Loved our stay here: 1. Great location 2. Access to the executive lounge was a great plus point with 2 kids who could access the food at several times a day 3. The room amenities , cleanliness and overall vibe was very nice. I believe the hotel was recently renovated which makes it really lovely to stay at somewhere that feels brand new. 4. There is so much staff around the property and everyone is always so helpful. 5. Best part was at the hotel door steps was a bus that takes you straight to Narita Airport (with one or two stops in between) - no need to carry luggage or take taxi to train station. 6. In the room they provided specific night gowns that were so pretty and traditional and i would have loved to be able to buy one to keep as a souvenir from my stay in Tokyo.

The room was beautiful, modern, and extremely clean, with stunning views of Tokyo Tower and the nearby skyscrapers. The Club Lounge was a major highlight โ€” calm atmosphere, great selection, and everything was complimentary throughout the day. The bath products from THANN were also excellent โ€” I actually plan to purchase them for home use. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The team outside the hotel, who helped with taxis and luggage, left a particularly great impression. The location is also very convenient, with a metro station just 2 minutes away. And of course, as expected in Japan, I felt completely safe at all times. Although pretty expensive, the Teppanyaki restaurant on the 36th floor is definitely worth visiting โ€” great food, great service, and an amazing view.

The only minor issue was the breakfast service in the Club Lounge โ€” it was a bit slow, and the staff took a while to take orders. That aside, everything else was outstanding.

My booking.com reservation promised me access to the lounge. Lounge provides breakfast tea and happy hour. It was confirmed that this was on my Booking.com reservation however it was denied at the hotel. Booking.com told us compensation would be provided. I have not yet heard back. This was unacceptable.

Indifferent staff at reception, the assistant manager David wasn't helpful about the half-board situation where I was only one person and was being charged for two to dine, blaming Booking.com. I was only allowed to eat in their cafeteria-style restaurant when they have 12 others to choose from. This could have been okay, except for four nights, even arriving at opening hours at 5p, the food was always cold or tepid. How is it possible to have a tepid vat of soup? Their staff was either uncomprehending, or indifferent. And the "Premier King Suite"? Well, if you don't mind ship-style tight quarters, or looking at the toilet of the glassed-in bathroom for $500 a night, you'll be okay. When opening the bathroom door, the distance to the countertop was 14", so you can only comfortably use their SINGLE sink after you've closed the door. Ditto the toilet. Shocking prices for a ghastly experience. Staff, room size, food....the WORST!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The service was excellent from start to finishโ€”every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We booked a high floor King Suite with club access, and it was well worth it. The room had a great view of the city, was spacious, very clean, and perfect for our family. The hotel even prepared the sofa bed and added an extra bed, which was very comfortable. The club access was a great perkโ€”kids were welcome in the lounge, and we enjoyed delicious complimentary breakfasts and cocktail hour with tasty tapas. We also had access to the main hotel breakfast (included in the room) which had a wide variety and was delicious. The hotelโ€™s location was very good- just a few stops (with direct train) from both Shibuya and Akihabara. Overall, a wonderful experience with top-notch service and comfort. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

Overall cleanliness.
