The lady, who welcomed me was really nice and gave me instructions about where what stays/ how it’s used. The location was perfect, although it’s a little bit hard to find it at first, didn’t see it as a problem. The interior was cute. Really good Wi-Fi.
The bathroom looked clean at first look, but wasn’t, and you cannot walk around in the room with bare feet, because you collect dirt from the floor. I was scared to use the towels, because there was something like hairs? They might have been washed with a pullover or something that leaves “hair” from its material, so when you wash yourself and try to dry afterwards, it goes on you. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. The place was nice, but wouldn’t stay for more than one day just because of the discomfort I feel when everything on both sides of the walls is being heard and the mould in the bathroom.

Very small place, but all is clean and also owner have thinked about rooms design. Very hart of the city centre but outside voices is not coming in because its on courtyart location. Free tee and coffee, fridge and microwawe with shearing other guests.
Cold was a bit, heating was allready out and not possible to turn it in.

Cleanliness is lacking which lead to two sleepless nights due to smells.
Birds (seagulls) extremely loud at night but bad smell of pillows, bed (beddings likely also unwashed) meant window had to be kept open.
This desperately needs improvement.

- Summing up: offering this accommodation for any price is uncanny. Such conditions are posing a serious health, sanitary, allergological threat and it will be reported to Booking.com for further investigation

The location was nice, close to the train and bus station. The woman who welcomed us was very nice and gave us all kind of explanations.
The room was really dirty. There was a strong smell coming from the mattress and it looked really dirty. The floor, the furniture… it was dirty and sticky. There were bedbugs and we got bites the following morning. We had to sleep on a towel that we carried in our luggage, since it was really hard to lay down on that mattress. We hardly had some sleep. The lady who welcomed us was really lovely, but I really think the place must be renewed, the mattress need to be replaced and the rooms need a deep cleaning.

Only good thing it was cheap and central, close to old town
Apart from being outdated and old, which is not the problem here, it was super humid and accordingly it smelled like it. Everything including bedlinen and towel which was not drying up after shower even the next day wet. Wet dog smell in the bathroom + fungus on the sealing in the bathroom. I wonder where else without being visible as the room was humid too. A big question for your health even I would say.

Smell of mold in bathroom, bed, blanket and pillows was terrible. We used our own sheets and pillows but both nights I regretted staying there. A stay have never felt so dirty as this room.
The fan in bathroom was clogged up with dust and not working. Gaps between the tiles probably led to mold growing underneath the tiles. For hours after a shower the whole room was humid. The floor could be cleaner. Bed was hard and you can feel the springs. 1.2m wide bed can be small for some couples. Entrance was through urine smelling gateway.
In almost all recent reviews of this summer the smell of MOLD or LACKING HYGIENE is mentioned. Probably the rooms have been left moist and unheated in the winter because of high energy costs. This is not a relative matter of 'comfort' anymore but an health hazard. A low price cannot make up with this.
The owners should redo the tilework, make better ventilation, burn the current mattress and sheets and a more intens cleaning routine before BOOKING.COM should accept more visitors.

the only „good” thing was the location but at this price you could easily find SOMETHING MUCH BETTER also in city centre, also you won’t get bitten by bedbugs ?
BEDBUGS, dozens of bites, money spent on ointments, allergy medication and a new hostel, a night lost in thoroughly going through everything
smell of dampness, clothes and towels could not dry, toilet paper damp due to lack of ventilation, mould on the ceiling, cobwebs noticeable in many places
the owner refused any compensation for the bites and unused stay, denies the problem as evidenced by the stay, feedback from other travellers and photos
I hope the place will be closed quickly and no one will be treated/bitten like this again

The lady in the reception is very nice and accommodating. Though she doesn't speak English she was able to explain well the room and the doors and keys. We had our own room and private bathroom. There are oven, fridge, some biscuits and candies for guests. I like the design of the place! It's has antique dolls, frames etc.
Bed bug ? got bites all over the body and was not able to get sleep because of this. The bathroom smells moldy maybe because of the shower curtain.

The place is cozy and for its money it is alright. Not the cleaniest place I stayed, but nothing disgusting. For one night its alright, has everyhting available and everything was working.
The communication with the owner was a bit weird, but we figured it out eventually. And again, I would expect the place to be cleaner.

This a SCAM hotel. They asked me to pay direct on IBAN, which i paid and then later on charged my credit card with the same amount of money. And never reolay again. I am wondering that Booking.com can nothing do about that. Avoid this hotel. SCAMERS.

Very good central location, peaceful, quiet. Easy self check in, check out. Room very small, but cosy, en suite shower. Tea, coffee, cookies in the common area!
Unfortunately the room was full of big bed bugs: on the floor, ceiling, in bed during the night, biting us. They got in our suitcases, clothes...This was a real downside and spoiler. Apart from this, would be good value for money for one night stay.

Location was great, right in the heart of the city. Quiet rooms, able to get privacy. More than enough you need to explore Riga. The fridge and microwave were nice additions and offered a good alternative to eating out every night
The hotel is quite difficult to find without reception. The heating should have been on a timer at least in colder nights. But the room was not very clean and the bathroom was filthy, with mold spots all over the ceiling, and grainy dirt in the main area. It felt like I was a tenant responsible for maintenance, not a guest. The lack of a sink in the communal area makes it hard to know what to do with dirty dishes or where to clean them

The location was perfect if you are planning to shop and go to the market. Everything is walking distance. There was hot water for tea, coffee and the shower was nice and hot. Clear instructions, great security system, next door to flying tiger. There are places to eat after 11pm kebab places Google Has Kebab. It's walking distance and closes about 2am. Shops are still open late on Sunday. Lido is a good place to eat and experience Latvian food.
The room we stayed in number 3 the floor was dusty with grit or something. The small towels had a unclean smell. It was either from the towels or bed that I go ringworms. The TV didn't work for English. Need to change mattress. The lighting is a soft off white so you are unable to see well unless you put your phone torch light on
