Staff was very nice and accommodating. We got a prety bad location/view initially (2nd floor looking at walls). When we asked we were moved to 6th floor next day and everything was all good. Drinks, pool area, beach all nice and good staff to help as needed

the food! What was that??? breakfast only omelette and the fruit was good, nothing else. lunch...just awful...no freshfood, the fresh salad tasted soapy every day, Burgers where premade and soggy, salads, veggies, you couldn't eat (tasted like soap) and no spice at all. Dinner: italian and mexican place where nice, but hard to get into. The general dinner food in place for everyone felt like a cheap cantina, not much care or creative, always the same and not to enjoy... Food could have been skipped! Hotel has seen better days...lots of paintjobs needed, cracks in walls and "creative" jobs of repair were done at hotel. Not really US standard, but if you are prepared that Mexican standard is different you might be ok. It was clean and the staff did a fine job the make the best use of what is available.

First, I have to admit this is the very first "all-inclusive" I've stayed in, so my expectations were probably down to earth. That said, for me the nine days I stayed there were absolutely amazing. There are so many things to do every day, and as we went also to excursions and a water park, we actually didn't even manage to see every show and didn't manage to do every activity. As a huge Michael Jackson fan - I loved the show, and the Argentian MJ did a fine job. Private check-in and staff were always helpful and friendly. The room had a view of the Caribbean Sea - it was absolutely amazing. I suggest taking a room with a balcony to be able to dry the swimsuit in the sun for the next day. I loved that the all-inclusive people had this special room where one could get snacks and beverages at all times. hotel has shops where You can buy souvenirs or swimwear if needed. There's also an ATM, pharmacy and possibility to book some excursions with a travel agency.

The Italian restaurant "Trattoria" is kinda "meh". I can accept that there is actually nothing Italian about the food, but the overseer of the restaurant does always a poor job of letting people in. Lines were forming every evening, although people had to book this at an exact time, so, there shouldn't be any lines at all. The "Trattoria" staff was so slow, that the last evening we decided not to even go there, because there were many people before us (although we had a reservation). As I mentioned we stayed nine days, but, to be fair, after a week food gets a bit boring. So, if somebody is looking for a place to stay more than a week, probably an option with more restaurants is for You.

We booked Suite Ocean Front Premium Level. I liked the size of the suite, a decent bedroom and a huge living room with a balcony. The views are amazing, watched the sunrise a few times. With this premium room, we got an access to an exclusive air-conditioned lounge with international drinks, espresso machine, and appetizers, which was super nice. Also, we got check-in separately at this place, with a concierge. The food at the buffets was good. From the three alacart restaurants, we liked the food at the Mexican one the most. The servers were excellent everywhere. The drinks were fine. The beach was clean, the pools were alright. Plenty of chairs everywhere, but no umbrellas at the beach, just palms shade. We loved Michael Jackson show at the theater and the Circus. The staff was super friendly all the time. I tried the relaxing massage and I loved it.

The concierge Daniela told us to expect a welcome gift in our suite, but it never came. We asked her about it, and still, she didn't do anything about it. The whole property needs a renovation here and there. The food at the buffets was alright, but a little repetitive. The drinks were watery. No umbrellas on the beach.

Clean, good location

Only real annoyance was the upstairs buffet, almost every time I ate there I was ignored by the staff, other guests were offered drinks during meals but I was only asked about twice. I either had an ask or just didn’t bother. I’m not sure if it was because I was a solo traveller but it’s not a nice feeling to see everyone else acknowledged yet you are ignored. Strangely there wasn’t an issue taking my plates when I was finished so they did notice me when they chose to. The staff were all lovely but for what every reason upstairs wasn’t welcoming, downstairs buffet was fine though.

This is our 3rd year at this property. Beach and view and location are amazing. The staff is very pleasant. Gabriela taking care of the children club was especially amazing.

The buffet went down in quality this year and last year, because of this we won't be returning next year.

I did not feel safe here. The hotel room was dirty, the sink was leaking, and most importantly, I felt like someone was going to enter my room. The entry and exit for hotel employees was right outside my door and I felt several times that there were male voices outside my room. There was construction or some other work happening and I could hear everything that was happening. The food was terrible. I understand dinner last night since we were late. However, they ran out of fruit before 9am. It took 20 minutes to get a waiter to bring water and it wasn’t even crowded. The most time any employee spent with us was to try to convince us to attend a presentation. NOT OKAY. I am respectfully requesting a refund for the price I paid. I don’t know if I can ever stay here again.

Customer service was A1! Really made our stay that much more enjoyable. I really wish the shows and entertainment was better advertised, I feel like we missed out so n a bunch of things happening during our 2 week stay.

The mixed drinks were TRASH!! There’s only so many shots and wine I could drink. But, I’m assuming all of the all the all inclusive hotels in Cancun had bad drinks, so this is still the best hotel. Also, the specialty restaurants options were all trash. The Mexican food was the only edible option for dinner. Otherwise just stick to the buffet.

The beach is nice

The worst hotel ever !! If you want to eat at the restaurants, you need to queue up for 30-60 minutes at 7-7.30AM which is quite early when on holiday. (They only take reservations the same morning and you can’t book 1 or 2 days ahead). If you don’t get a seat at the restaurants, you need to eat at the buffet which is the worst food you have ever tried. Trust me! Spaghetti with cream, machine cut carrots and something that should be mashed potatoes (I think). For breakfast only the buffet is available, and the food is leftovers from the evening before. Who eats spaghetti with cream in the morning?! The main breakfast restaurant holds seats for 25% of the hotel. If everyone goes in different times, that is no problem, but between 8.30 - 9.30 AM, you have to queue for 30-40 minutes. That is a logic hard to understand… It is an all-inclusive hotel, but after 5PM, there is only 1 bar to serve the entire hotel… Again you queue for 30 minutes to order something from the bar. The rooms are nothing like the pictures. They are 30 years old and extremely noisy. On one side of the hotel you have live music and on the other side you have the power generators. WiFi is poor except in the reception. As a ‘premium all-Inclusive’ you can get real WiFi. But why?! All guest should get normal working WiFi in 2025… We stayed 4 nights which was 4 nights too much… We ended up eating almost all meals on local restaurants. Do yourself a favor and read the recent reviews of this hotel before booking. It is a beautiful beach though. And if you like bad food and to queue for hours, don’t hesitate to book this hotel…

the hotel is well located, facing a spectacular beach. Also very close to the shopping mall. Rooms and facilities are clean. the food in the buffet restaurant is pretty good.

the rooms are outdated, super small bathrooms, lack of availability of beach towels, booking dinner at the hotel restaurants is a nightmare..very few spaces and short time to book. This last topic was a particular negative experience for me: I booked 3 tours with the hotel, tours depart the hotel at 7 am so you can not enjoy the breakfast (starts at 7 as well), and you dont have option to reserve restaurants for dinner since the reservations desk opens at 8:30 am. overall logistics at the hotel seem to be poorly planned.

We liked the swimming pools, the bar and the bed.

We hated the service, at the front desk we have never interacted with someone pleasant, they look very unhappy and bothered when asked for help. Particularly one lady named Adriana Guillermo, at some point she was joking in spanish with her colleague, thinking we do not speak spanish, which we do. Very unprofessional. The food is below average, they clearly want to save money and are making bland food. We would always eat the same damn things. We booked the diner restaurant once, expecting the food to be better but really it is just the service that is better.

It's a lovely location with three swimming pools and immediate access to the beach. We enjoyed good weather and beautiful ocean views. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional. Our premium room was quiet with a comfortable king-size bed.

Only two of the three on-site restaurants (besides the buffet) were open - the seafood restaurant was closed for unannounced renovations and the Italian restaurant was awful. The food in general was just not very good at all. We won't be going here again, but if we did, we would not go all-inclusive; we would eat off-site.

Loved our ocean front room! Spacious, comfortable, great view! Close to everything. Check-in was very efficient. Staff was exceptional. Brought a surprise birthday cake right to our front door. The beach is clean and beautiful. Plenty of chairs and loungers all over the property. And the turtles on the beach were the icing on the cake.

A lot of the staff was very unfriendly. We lost power in our tower for 6 hours and was not offered anything but a reservation at one of the other restaurants. You couldn't get into any bar area to get drinks. Our mini bar in the room wasn't stocked daily. The price we paid was not worth the rude staff and very rude other guest that was there. Seemed like if you were American, you got ignored and snubbed. Nancy C. from the buffet was very polite. I would not stay at this resort again. I will take my business elsewhere. Dated, in desperate need of a renovation. Was only here for 1 night because my flight was cancelled, Only experienced the dinner buffet restaurant. It Was not very good. Room service was worse, they got my order wrong and I ordered a Hawaiian pizza. They sent me pepperoni, it looked as if it was leftover from earlier in the day. Ended up waking up in the middle of the night throwing up. Most of the clients in this hotel are locals. In its current condition this place should be rated a 3 star hotel.

the hotel has a gorgeous ocean view. bartending and food were amazing, and staff were wonderful. I tend to be a picky eater, and the buffet still had so many delicious options, pushing me to branch out. I Can’t emphasize enough how friendly and hard working the staff are. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Lots of entertainment at the pool throughout the day, and fun shows at night.

Rooms were a little hot, would’ve liked a fan or some kind of air conditioning. Beach had some seaweed build up along the sand and in the shallow water, kind of had to jump over it to get to the water lol. If you don’t mind the seaweed, the beach is still a great option! (I acknowledge that this is mostly out of their control.)

Hands down, this was horrible food. Granted, I only went to the buffets, but not a lot of healthy options. And it didn’t taste good.

The service could have been 100% better. I was asked how I was enjoying my stay, one time, and that was when I checked out. When I came to the hotel, the Bell boy in the elevator with me, opened his hand and showed me some Quarters that somebody had tipped him. He told me this was useless and what was he supposed to do with this? I had been checked in for a total of three minutes at that point. This is my third trip to Cancun and hands-down. It’s the worst service in the dining room, the front desk. The section I stayed in was very old, the furniture in the room and in the lobby is dirty. I am saddened to tell you it was an absolutely horrible experience.

If you book a standard room then you will be on the lagoon facing side and the high pitch noise from the chillers will keep you up all night. You've been warned, don't make the same mistake. As other negative reviews say the food was atrocious. Even if you book a premium, ocean facing suite - you will be disappointed if you paid more than $200 per night. It's not worth it. I don't know how this hotel has a 8.0 rating, even 5 would be too generous.

We loved the location of the resort as well as the people. The staff are amazingly friendly.It's not exaggerated.It feels like family, and they want you to have a good time.And relax and be carefree. The beach is amazing.This location is in the right spot!

When we checked in, we were upgraded to ocean view Room. Because the room that we reserved was not available. And they were 99% full. We were completely grateful for the upgrade. However, upon getting to the room, the room was not clean. The room also had mold in the bathroom. It also had a hole in the bathroom ceiling where some bugs were crawling out. And the phone did not work. And a couple of the lights were out in the ceiling and the track lighting, and also one lamp at the bed had no light bulb. So once I did get ahold of someone at the front desk by calling on my cellphone., they sent someone up to fix a phone which they took a phone from another room. And brought it to our room. But as far as the bugs and whatnot, they said they could not help me because they had no other room to send me to, and we had to sleep there that night. And so we just went to a store and got some bug spray and started killing the bugs in the bathroom. So and we went and bought extra sheets because the room actually looked like they meant to clean it. But they missed it, there was still some person's deodorant in the bathroom. As well as a towel on the bed. So we did not end up changing rooms. The next morning, we did go to the front desk and let them know again that something was wrong with our room and they said that they had to wait until people checked out. In order to move us, so we just decided to enjoy our vacation and just go buy some extra sheets. And just deal with it because the location is beautiful and the people I could tell that it was not their fault and I didn't want to get anyone in trouble for missing cleaning the room.

We got the ocean-front suite, which was spacious and comfortable. The sliding doors opened out to the walkway to the beach and we had some great views. Also, Francisco, at the mid-level pool bar, is fantastic!

Everything else was underwhelming at best. If you do book one of the suites, be aware you HAVE to check-in and out in the VIP area, and check-in took over an hour due to one person working there vs. the 5 people that were not busy at the main desk. The water in the shower took over 5 minutes to get lukewarm, and if you wanted hot, it needed to run for closer to 10 minutes. The microwave wasn't plugged in, the phone didn't work (and when we did get one that did, literally nobody answers the other end for any department except the bellboy, so you have to end up leaving the room anyway). The food in the buffet is so bland that its honestly not worth bothering with. There are several restaurants nearby that know what seasonings are and how to use them, and they aren't expensive. If you do eat on property, the themed restaurants are the only ones with decent options (only open for dinner and require reservations). While they can do currency exchange, dont expect them to have big bills, expect all $50's, which is very inconvenient when getting the pesos equivalent of $100. They also dont refill the fridge drinks daily, which is part of every other all-inclusive I've ever been to, so you have to ration your waters/sodas/beers, or physically go down the desk to request the service (because they wont answer the phone when it does work). They also only have 2 sm9king areas, and are militant about it. Definitely non-plussed with the overall experience. Best part of the trip was leaving the resort for a full day.
