The hotel was fine. Pool, breakfasts and housekeeping staff were excellent.
Although very friendly, the desk staff were not very knowledgeable about the city. They were able to provide basic information at its highest. Room was fine except the bathroom. There was a constant pungent odor in the bathroom. The sink faucet leaked every time it was turned on. The bathroom tile floors need to be replaced as they obviously are so worn that they can no longer be properly cleaned. They always look dirty.

The location was perfect for my needs. The staff was super nice. Easy and fast check-in. The pool and the garden it was in, was gorgeous. The shower had excellent pressure and hot water.
The wifi was lagging a little, going on and off. But not too bad. The AC was somewhat loud. The beds were a little hard.

We managed to get a studio this time and it was great to have a fridge and outdoor space of our own. On previous visits the studios have already been taken by long stay Canadians.
The beds are extremely comfortable and the housekeeping is meticulous.
Its small by Hotel Zone standards but has a pool with loungers and shady tables.
The public airport bus stops across the road, same stop for buses to Centro Puerto Vallarta.
The downside of our outdoor kitchen/diner was the biting flying critters. Insect repellent a necessity.

Very nice service, large, warm swimming pool with some tanning beds around it. Daily cleaning and fresh towels etc. The rooms are a bit dated but very large, working hot shower, aircon, There are various room types in the properties though, of variable size and some with a kitchenette and fridge. Unlimited free drinking water provided.
Location is a bit tricky: Access to the beach is far away, unless you cross the main road and sneak trough and alley between two other hotels. Sadly those hotels are hogging most of the beach. It's located in the Glorias area, several shops and restaurants nearby. Also very close to a bus stop where you can take a bus to the city center for just $10. My room was located on the main road size, which gives a bit of noise. Didn't bother me that much, but something to consider asking about when booking here (most rooms face the pool afaik).

We put our check in time as 1200. We came at 1400 and they said it would be another 20 minutes for the room to be ready. The beds were the least comfortable I have ever been on. Wifi did not work at all in our room, only down in the lobby. No windows to air out the room, very stuffy. A/C didnt work.

I needed an overnight to catch a plane the next day. It was an inexpensive place to stay and overall it was clean, comfortable, the air condition and fan worked, and the staff were helpful. The pool area was very pleasant!
Im sure this place is 30 -40 years old, and there hasnt been much done to the room I was in. The faucet leaked in the bathroom, and there wasnt much water for showering but at least it was warm!

Very clean and for the value it was relatively well maintained. The staff is friendly but do not speak much english. Location is good. Small but nice pool. Water dispensers on each floor.
The wifi was unstable and I had to continually reconnect. In the non-studio rooms there is no coffee maker or fridge or anything. The mattresses are a bit firm, and I am not usually picky in that respect. The traffic on road-facing rooms can be loud in the mornings.

I loved having the kitchen on the balcony which faced the pool. We spent lots of time on the balcony in the morning and at night - this really made the hotel worth it. Great restaurants around.
The room was dirty. There was dirt/grim on the walls, light switches, baseboards, window sills, bathroom door and around the base of the toilet. The fake plants were dirty, so I just set them on the balcony out of the way. I actually went to the store and bought cleaning products to clean the room the first day. The towels and bed linens were old with rips and stains. I wished they had blankets encased in duvet covers as I'm not certain the blankets are washed in between guests.

It was really quite nice. Clean room. Well-organized. Nice looking pool. The breakfast area and lounge areas are very nice. Free coffee and sweet rolls for breakfast, or pay a small amount for a fruit bowl with granola and yogurt, or pay more for a full breakfast. Right on the Main Street with access to buses. Very budget. Room was in desperate need of updating/renovation (bathroom sink falling off the wall, door to bathroom would not close, curtains very old and needing to be replaced). Air conditioner was so loud I could not run it when sleeping. Bed was comfortable enough, and that was all I really needed, but disappointed otherwise.
The wifi did not work in my room. They wanted to charge me 100 pesos more to have faster stronger wifi. Ended up going to a cafe down the street to use wifi for emails etc.

Many things! We had to change rooms because of a malfunctioning air conditioner that continued all night. The new room had at least three lights that were missing bulbs or did not work. Some guests were smoking in the dining area! We were awakened well after midnight (4am once) on two occasions by the night clerk carrying on a loud conversation with either a guest or passer by directly outside our bedroom window. We were so disappointed that we left the hotel after two weeks and found ourselves better accommodation at less cost for our third week.
