Location is convenient for tourists, room space was quite enough, which exceeded our expectations becouse we expected that the room must have been smaller.
If the room/hotel had a balcony or a terrase, that would be great. But aniway, generally, we are all content.

The location of the hotel is really nice. It's on a very quiet small street, but you can get to the city center easily using e.g. metro 52 or tram 4, and the Albert Cuyp market and grocery stores are just around the corner. The room and the common areas were very clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly, and I loved the cozy atmosphere at breakfast, where certain foods were made on request and brought to your table. I traveled with a family, and the room for four people had a tall yet sturdy non-creaking bunk bed that easily catered for two adult-sized teenagers.
Would visit again.
I have a hard time thinking of anything. Other reviewers mention that the rooms are small, which is kind of true, but I didn't go to Amsterdam to spend that much time in the hotel room, so that didn't bother me. I'd choose this hotel over some boring chain hotel with bigger rooms any day.

The pick up from the airport was excellent
The location.
It was meant to be a deluxe double room but it was in the basement with only view of a brick wall. Also it was the end room next to the stairs which were extremely noisy through a very thin wall. We only had one very soft pillow each and the room was small - there was a lack of space between the bed and the door to the bathroom.

It was cosy, good thing it had a sofa in the room, very good location.
The sewage pipe from the above rooms was going through our room(it was masked though), so everytime someone would flush the toilet above us, we could hear loud noises coming from the sewage. We stayed in room no. 1, at semi basement level. Rooms 1-5 are in semi basement.

My little girl got very sick on our last day of vacation. When I asked for a herbal tea from one of the staff members, he very rudely told me to go to a pharmacy or hospital. The following morning I was afraid to mention anything to anyone but one of the female staff saw my daughter and started chatting to her. When she found out that she was not well, she went above and beyond to help us. The other staff members, cleaners, receptionist etc were all extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel itself is lovely.
My room was a bit small but made up for it with good facilities (coffee machine, etc) and it was clean and comfortable

Great location: within walking distance from many of the main attractions and public transport options very close by. Despite the proximity to the centre, it was a quiet area so you can enjoy a good night's sleep. Friendly and helpful staff. The standard room we had was clean, neat, and big enough for us, and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was good too!

- Conveniently located in the old city centre, with easy access to the metro and tram.
- Staff was very friendly and helpful. They accommodated our schedule by taking our luggage early before check-in and keeping it after check-out. Both times they offered complementary tea and snacks.
- Room was clean and modern, if maybe a bit tight (normal by European standards)
- The double bed advertised was in fact two single beds brought together. Not the most comfortable for a couple.
- The room was at basement level and was thus very dark, with only small high windows at the pavement level. The shutters did not work so we couldn't get much light even from these.

Great location, easy to find. Check in was easy as I followed their online checkin instructions. Bathroom was big and the bed was very comfy. We had breakfast and were blown away that they use real eggs and had someone there to make omelets, eggs, bacon and pancakes. Honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The service was also fabulous.
The bathroom mirror was very high, my 163cm barely managed to see half of my face in the mirror. I had to stand on a chair to do my make up.

The staff were all friendly (a special shout out to the lady who prepares breakfast on weekdays! - such a lovely atmosphere and friendliness) and fresh selection at breakfast with some hot options. The hotel is in a convenient location walk-able to the art museums as well as the biggest Amsterdam market: Albert Cuypstraat while still quite at night which allows a good sleep.
The bed was a little too soft for my taste, with very little room for 4 however good enough as we were only there to sleep.

Great location for experiencing different parts off Amsterdam. Close to public transport. Great breakfast. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but if you're out sightseeing the whole day it doesn't matter too much. The staff were always super friendly and helpful.
Area can be a bit noisy with revellers and traffic. For extended stays a laundry service might also be helpful, but honestly we didn't actually ask about it at the front desk.
