The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. We got in really late and they gave us a late check out, and when we check out they help us get a taxi for 5 people. Breakfast is excellent. Main reason to book this hotel.

The night we checked in we arrived late in the evening and they put us in a room right down the back of the motel and we had to walk through the middle of a conference to get to the lift to go up to another building and room was above the function centre with music and dj thumping till 2am. We rang reception and asked to be relocated but the couldn't do it till the next day. The rooms are very basic sbd quite small

The breakfast was good. It was a lot to choose from. The coffee from the barista (who was especially nice and kind btw) was a morning blessing. The staff on the restaurant were helpful and polite.
1. The parking was too far from the hotel. When you are tired after hours of driving, or have small kids, or much luggage, or the weather is very bad - that’s a big issue.
2. The interior is starting to look tired. It’s time to renovate the rooms and hallway. The bed or bathroom were not especially comfortable.
3. The cleaning could be better. It was stains on the bedding, which we unfortunately noticed only in the morning. The shower wasn’t especially clean either.

2 staff members were genuinely nice and helpful.
Hotel was shamefuly filthy. First room: had to clean the sink before using it. Vacuum cleaning was only half done. Light switch was so disgusting (finger marks. Fat. I hope) that I rushed back to the reception. They changed my room (with a nice upgrade). Second room: visibly torn sheets, stain (fruit juice. I hope) on the furniture next to the bed, and blood stain on the bed frame.
So I checked the rest of the room because of the obvious lack of cleaning. I found accumulated dust dating from several weeks on picture frames... Corridors were regularly dirty with dust balls big enough for my cats to play with, various crumbs, stains,...
Really, really filthy. I reported it to the reception and offered to talk constructively to the cleaning management. I emphasized that I was not looking for any kind of compensation. 4 days later, still no contact by anyone. Let alone an apology...

The cleaning and maintenance was really bad. We did complain and show pictures to the staff. Everything was either loose, dirty, or had fallen off in the bathroom.
I wish they changed the towels at least once during my week stay.

I was disappointed by the response I received when asking if I could have access to one of the numerous empty rooms in the deserted basement area. I was basically told that it was ‘not possible’ to open the door to one of the rooms, why? Other than the man on the desk was a jobsworth in a uniform. Very unhelpful and I doubt whether a man would have received the same answer.

One thing that could be called "liked" in this hotel is the breakfast.
We chose this hotel because of its location and name. We wanted a quality overnight stay between long train journeys to rest "on the ground". It was also my birthday, so when choosing a room we looked for a room with a view. We got a room "with a view" (I've attached a photo). Ok, that's not a problem. But we slept like we were on a train, because the nearby railway both vibrates and makes noise. We got what we were running from :)
Hope it helps someone to avoid it if you book - ask if it's not in the new building and especially if it's not room 170.

There seemed to be a small mix-up with the room cleaning. The bed and bathroom were clean, but the rest of the room wasn’t, including dirty coffee cups, and we received only one towel for two people.
We really appreciated the city’s warm underground parking nearby, especially in December with freezing temperatures outside.
The room was spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast offered a wide variety and everything was very tasty and filling.
Despite the cleaning mix-up and towel issue, we still appreciated the location, parking, and perfekt breakfast.
