Lack of parking and having to park around at the ascot when you have a foot problem. Want expecting this to be an issue as I expected a park at the hotel itself. All staff that we engaged with were absolutely wonderful from front office, bar and restaurant.
We have stayed in several Ibis hotels in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore.
They fit a market, particularly if all that is required is an overnight stay.
Our room had a cupboard door that had broken hinges that should have been reported to front of house.
The bathroom was a drop in plastic type module that we hadn’t come across before but was functional.
We had the buffet meal. The potato soup was a little insipid, the seafood dish and salads excellent, ample meat dishes including halal, ham and beef medallions were dry. Large desert table.
On checking out we had to point out that we had been under charged which was quickly addressed.

The hotel is very nice and clean, and also very near the main tourist attractions. I like the stay. the staff was very kind and their breakfast was delicious! It is a very highly recommended place to go.
Is not really a bad thing, but when I went there, there was a big even taking place, so the lobby was quite full and it took some time for them to give me the room. But this was just a context thing. After that, they were extremely kind and efficient.

The noise from other people staying, rooms are inadequately sound proofed, someone had to yell at them to shut up. The mini fridge was also on the brink and sounded like a 50 year old car that hadn't bees topped up with oil for 50 years. I had to pull it out to get it to stop so I couls go to sleep
