Clean. We can park our car right infront of our room which on the ground floor
In our booking we requested for room on the ground floor, when we arrived the lodge assigned 1st floor room. So we still request for grnd floor since we can’t carry our big bags up since there no elavator. We have to wait for the staff to find us available room ground floor, finally she got it. Thanks to the front desk staff for helping us

Spacious room, centrally located, fairly clean, and plenty of amenities including a thermal blanket and heated towel rack. Parking spaces allocated to rooms made the stay stress-free.
Poor soundproofing (both between rooms and from the street) and maintenance (e.g., broken bathroom door and drawer) and curtains looking as if never being cleaned. No bin in the bathroom.

Fantastic location and staff were very accommodating to our needs. Very polite and friendly.
I don’t like writing negative reviews but the room was very dirty. We were given an upgrade which I am so appreciative for, however the walls are dirty, the skirtings are quite thick with dust, same as the back of the toilet. Cobwebs on the ceiling’s. The towels and bedding are obviously done in house as all had old stains on them. The mattress springs are gone and needs to be replaced. Honestly would be a perfect spot for everyone if it was given a good tidy up. Paint the walls, use professionals to clean all your bedding and towels and hire a decent cleaner. I would definitely stay again if it was cleaned up as it’s the perfect location and the space is perfect for a family. I’m not uploading any photos here as I feel like they should be given a chance to change.

Good location. Bed was comfy.
I stayed for 2 nights. The full day between I was having an afternoon nap and woke up to find a staff member changing the curtains. Being a solo female traveler it made me a bit uncomfortable that someone had come in, even though they knocked I didn’t hear it because I was asleep. I feel that this could have been done the next day once I had checked out. This also happened after they did their usual clean during stays (fresh towels, take bins out etc) so I wasn’t expecting anyone to come in as they had already cleaned.

Only thing to like about this property was the location
Where do I start!! There were so many things not to like about this property.
Dirty, run down, lack of love and care, old cutlery, pots and pans, mixed matched dinner ware and not enough provided.
Holes in backs of doors, and broken hooks behind doors, Dining table dirty with food marks from last guests. Carpet a tripping hazard, vanity unit in bathroom was missing drawer and hanging off the wall. Needed a complete new lick of paint instead of touch up paint spots that didn’t match. Bath plug was old and disgusting and didn’t fit the sink. Grout in shower needed a good scrub and shower curtain was disgusting.
No sink plug in kitchen had to ask. Mould all around the windows and ledges.
Service was rubbish. Went to reception to ask for another tea towel, rang the bell twice could hear the owners out the back eating and never came go to the desk, so Im still waiting for that tea towel. Linen provided was old and worn needed up graded. Stripped the bed when we checked out and who knows when the pillow protectors and mattress protectors were last washed!!!
All I can say is the owners are in the wrong industry!!

Everything about the booking was easy. The room was fine an the bed comfortable. Lots of bedding and spare blankets. We thought the location was also good.
I'm a wheelchair user which I spoke to the management about when booking. I didn't need an accessible room as i had my husband to help me with anything inaccessible but.... the bathroom door wasn't a standard size and my wheelchair couldn't fit through it. If it was 810mm or 860mm wide it would have been fine but it was probaby 710 or 760 so I didn't fit. My chair is small as well.
