I travelled with my elderly father, so his comfort was important to me. I left him a few times knowing he was very safe and secure I loved the security of having the rental car under cover and also to have another car space for family when they visited. The kitchen had everything I needed and full size fridge was so much better than a small bar fridge.
The main bed was comfortable, however the second bedroom bed not so comfortable.

Location is great.
We were in a second level room, which faced the car park, and the rubbish skips. Skips emptied at around 5am which was noisy! I know they need emptied but people also use them day and night so all you hear is lids being slammed. The bathroom drains need cleaned because the bathroom smelt. The fridge was so loud it had to be unplugged at night. The room was small dark. There was a message that all rubbish must be removed prior to leaving, which is a pain. Lights from carpark shone directly into room so curtains pointless. Was going to ask for different room but was told it would be $50 more per night. Not worth it when so many great places in chch to stay. Prior to seeing room check in manager told me I should upgrade, because of the room. I should have asked for refund at that point but sadly didn't!!

This room was TINY. It's hard to believe they can actually squash that much into such a small space. Unless you're slim and travelling alone, you may struggle. A pity they didn't allocate just a few extra square inches.

Fantastic location with easy walks to Riverside Markets, Art Gallery, cafes etc. Everything you could need in the apartment.
Hmmmm... if I was really really picky, the walkway between the carpark and the apartments is not weatherproof, so we did get wet. But the carpark is secure and thats great.
