We really liked this hotel. A great location just a few minutes walk from the waterfront and also near good shopping and restaurants. The room was much bigger than we expected and we really appreciated having a kitchenette and a washer and dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing serious but we were there on a Saturday night and it was too noisy to fall asleep with the windows open. We realize that is to be expected in a big city.

Perfect location, next to cable car and walking distance to ferry port and museums, lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Huge apartment rooms, laundry facilities were really useful extra. Super comfy beds. The lady on reception was so friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations for local food spots.

Love the retro decor and the lovely young lady at reception. Good tea making facilities and it was great having a washer and drier in the suite. Downtown location is hard to beat.
There was an air conditioning control and a small vent in the bathroom, but there only seemed to be a heater in the living room and nothing in the bedroom. There was a stand-fan in the closet, which didn't seem an adequate solution, so we wound up opening the windows to keep the place cool. This had the unfortunate side-effect of letting in the noise of the Saturday night drunkards and early morning street-sweeping and dumpster trucks.

The customer service was amazing. The staff were super friendly and gave a welcoming vibe. The location for the hotel was great as it is near the supermarket, cafes, and a bus stop. The room was big enough for two people. The room also comes with a laundry machine and dryer, which is great.
The bathroom was a bit old and chipped. Also, the opening hour for the front desk was from 9 am, so you have to tell the staff if you are going to check out early. But the staff were super friendly so they will help you out

We liked the art deco feel to the Hotel and the historic element, and the location was central to the cbd with lots of places to visit within easy walking distance. and the airport bus stopping virtually outside the hotel on Lampton Quay. we would definitely stay here again on our next Wellingfton visit.

Bed was comfortable but everything else was old and don’t feel clean . I have used Tauranga quest apartments three times and was amazing but these are terribly old and not maintained properly
There was an awful smell in the 4th floor as well as in the lift. I booked 3 apartments for three nights and no one did anything about the bad smell. Even the bathroom floor was cracked. TV was not working. Heat rack in the bathroom was not working.
