We got a room with windows o erlooki g the restaurant garden. There’s no curtain in the bathroom, so using it with light on was a bit uncofortable (impossible actually ;))

Nice hotel, great staff, well decorated with great facilities
Spiders, a lot of them. I had to dispose of 6 (very large) spiders in one evening. Girlfriend was having a meltdown. One huge one above the bed, two next to bed, huge one on the desk, another two huge ones on the curtains next to the bed. Regular/thorough hoovering would take care of it.

The location above all was excellent only footsteps away from the city center. The restaurant offered a beautiful view of the river and bridge. The staff was always friendly and professional and assisted us with every need quickly. Breakfast was tasty with many options and on Sunday morning the Prosecco was a nice touch. We spent time in the spa for the sauna and that was private and relaxing. The jacuzzi didn't look like it was working but we didn't ask for that service. Overall the stay was perfect for a nice city break in Torun.
Typically rooms should have a kettle with tea/coffee or a stocked mini bar and this room didn't have those items. Also bathrobes and slippers are a nice touch for the rooms and those were not offered.

the property was situated right in the old town which is fantastic- close to everything!
upon arrival there was no air conditioning in our room and when we called reception about this at around midnight when we were all struggling to sleep we were told it was shut off at 11 (it had definitely not been on before this) and we were to open a window! There were no plug points near the bed meaning we had to charge our phones over at the other side of the room which was not ideal when you have a baby that you are trying not to disturb. The corridors were extremely dark and there were a few dangerous areas for our toddler such as an opening leading straight to the stairs. The breakfast was disappointing, nothing tasted fresh. We have stayed in a few places in Torun now and this was the only place we have been disappointed in.

Bulwar Hotel is in a convenient place to get anywhere in old town.Rooms are very clean and in some rooms there is beautiful view on Wisła River and bride full of colorful lights.Breakfast is great as long as there is no conference in the hotel
Most of Reception staff members are not very welcoming. At the beginning my friends and I taught that they might be overwhelm since there was some kind of conference happening but when that event ended,they still were looking unhappy,unengaging and even not care to ask about our stay,say goodnight or goodbye. It felt like we were not good enough customers for them.Also issues with parking space.I almost dropped dead when I found out that parking space under hotel is not in a price of the hotel!There was no word anywhere about paying separate bill for parking space until we were ready to leave.During first breakfast staff wasnt ready for other guests,food was constantly missing,caffe machine didn't work,tables were dirty,no lights on...DISASTER Maybe it is 4star hotel but not in our eyes.We won't be back.

1) like most hotels, you have to insert the keycard to turn on the lights. However, I never actually was able to locate the switches for at least two of the lights, so these lights remained on when I wanted to sleep. When I asked the front desk for help finding the switches, they told me just to pull the card. Not helpful at all.
2) I don’t know why they bother having a thermostat in the room. My stay was a balmy and uncomfortable 24 degrees, in spite of my trying to dial down the thermostat.

Very nice, spacious room overlooking the Vistula River. Location is also fantastic, steps away from downtown. Also had its own underground parking garage and excellent restaurant. Full spa services. Staff was super-accommodating.
No electric outlets or USB ports next to the bed. Other than the plug that’s part of the hairdryer in the bathroom, the only other electric plug/USB is at the desk. Recommend bringing an extension cord and a multiple USB adapter if you want to use your device from the bed.

the room was small for the price. the breakfast was till 10am but when came downstairs at 9:30 half of the food was gone (as in taken away by staff). the bed was double but rather then being one double mattress it was two singles with a topper which started moving after couple of days.

Torun is amazing historic-gothic city. And the Hotel is quite good example of adaptation of monument to the modern purposes. Room was comfortable, and breakfast very good. Staff - kind and helpfull.

Absolutely everything! This hotel is now our preferred choice when visiting Torun and we enjoyed our stay very much.
- Staff were ALL wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff, the restaurant staff, the staff at the bar and also the spa were helpful, efficient, friendly and keen to help in any way they could.
- Rooms were light, spacious and very clean. The mini bar was stocked and had room for extra drinks and chocolate. The in room safe was free to use and the little touches (enough hangers, a shoe horn, sewing kit etc) were all very welcome.
- The bathroom was fully stocked with lovely toiletries and amenities. The shower was nice and powerful and the water hot all times of the day.
- Housekeeping serviced the rooms to a very high standard, every day. They worked quietly and thoughtfully in the mornings, and worked with a smile.
- Spa was a nice peaceful retreat! Clean, comfortable and very relaxing. It was easy to book a slot with reception and we were able to use it every day of our stay.
The WiFi was excellent in all areas of the hotel and the communal areas in the hotel were clean, comfortable and a good area chill away from your room with a cup of complementary tea or coffee which was available all day long.
Nothing that we disliked BUT a rotation of the dinner menu would have been appreciated and would have encouraged us to eat there more.

The hotel has a top location and is represented at a very high level. Excellent cuisine and a well-stocked bar met my expectations about a 4-star hotel.
It is very pleasant when you have checked in as a guest and your license plate number is registered, the barriers open automatically via license plate recognition, and a parking space is then also available outside or in the underground garage for each registered guest.
The room had a slight smell as if from a sewage pipe (butyric acid / hydrogen sulphide) and it only disappeared after prolonged ventilation and use of the shower/sink.Unfortunately, there was no power socket to the left or right of the bed, so I was unable to use or charge devices nearby (laptop/cell phone etc.) as expected - guests are therefore advised to bring a 3m charging cable.
The bathroom light was not at the entrance door to the bathroom, but opposite at the exit of the room - it took me some time to find out where the light switch was at night.
The room was very quiet, but the air conditioning gurgled a bit every 15 minutes or so, so i woke up at night time because of that.
he underground parking garage is comparatively narrow and unfortunately only very sparsely lit. A few LED lights and motion detectors could help to provide guests with more brightness.
A little drawback is that communications seems to happen mostly if not only in Polish language, even when they know you are not from Poland. I always needed to use an online translator to understand what they want from me... a bit tedious when you are using a mobile phone only and receive emails.

Taxis/Ubers/Bolts can’t drop you off at the front of the hotel, as the hotel charges them to enter the car park/entrance area. This is inconvenient and potentially unsafe. I’d be happy to have the charge included in the room rate.

Great room. Hotel is very well located and easy to walk to Old Town locations. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
We experienced some noise coming regularly from the bathroom - especially from the shower plumbing which was loud and annoying.

Only one Power outlet in the room that is not near the bed.
Hotel laundry service lost items of my clothes and still cost a fortune.
Hotel spa is advertised as open but the Jacuzzi has been under maintenance for weeks

i have visited hotel earlier. location is excellent. roons are nice and comfortable.
lobby bar and seating areas are bit awkward. would prefer having lounge area suitable for small groups to sit and discuss in more privacy. also color scheme is not very comfortable. also its bit out-dated. been mostly unchanged for years

The hotel itself was very luxurious at first glance, visually it was pleasant and welcoming
Although advertised as an air conditioned hotel, it didn’t appear the air conditioning was on, we had to keep the window open to keep the room from becoming stifling. It was advertised that room service could be ordered from the television but we could not figure it out. The WiFi seemed to be having issues as well, as one moment I would be connected then it would disconnect me from the local network.

Location, of course. Everything is within walking distance. The park and promenade are just steps away.. The shower temperature and pressure are the best i have had in 29 years of traveling. Very clean room, my bedding smelled nice. Great shower gel. Being able to open windows in Europe is always great. Big room. Very different and grandiose hotel design, not the cookie cutter style, as too many hotels have now. Great views from the terraces. Fast elevators and wifi. Magnificent breakfast, where Anastasia demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Great staff. They have a spa, billiard accommodation, etc.

The location.
Considering it's a 4 star hotel, the facilities were sadly lacking:
No English speaking channels
Weird lighting in the room, no tea/coffee making in the room, and no tissues in the room.
The breakfast menu is not up to much.
The bar is uninviting and not staffed and very poorly stocked
Couldn't even come up with 2 bottles of beer.
Entrance and side entrance badly lit, especially considering the wet cobbled street outside.
