The hotel is located very close to the ocean and has some great views. It has an indoor swimming pool and a decent breakfast. The room was clean and big with a nice view and had a big comfortable bed. It is easy to park a car. I am not a picky person, so despite the negatives that I mention in this review, it was still enjoyable but could have been better.
The hotel is worn out and some things are really old. I was staying in a suite, and the door handles, the doors, and the bathtub were very beaten up. The hairdryers in the bathrooms are from the 80s, and it is not a joke, they are very weak, and they smell like burnt dust. Paper cups for espresso instead of proper ones are a strange thing to see in a 4-star hotel. The windows are whistling with wind when it is storming outside because they are also old and don't close as well as 40 years ago. To open a door to the swimming pool, you need to be quite strong.my room key stopped working twice and I needed to go down to reception to fix it.
I also had a really poor experience checking in, my room was damaged by the previous guests, and I got upgraded to a family suite, which is the best room they had, but I needed to wait for almost 2 hours to get to the room because cleaning took so long. Evidently, the room was trashed on the new year night by the previous guests, and it took very long to clean it. We were compensated with a free dinner. The lady at the reception seemed compassionate, but I would prefer not to have this situation in the first place or at least to get an exact time of checking in without waiting for two hours and asking all the time.
I hope that the hotel will read this and will invest at least some money in the maintenance of the rooms.

The apartment was spacious with a kitchenette so I could make tea and coffee, the indoor pool was lovely as was the sauna and steam room. Breakfast was also great.

The location is very good, with views of the ocean. The staff at the reception and at the restaurant were kind, friendly, and serving with a smile. The breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and kept very clean. A good option if youโre traveling by car as parking is convincing, and if you like the calm rather than the busy city.

Also, for an 8 night stay, a higher room/nicer view would have been nice (considering we paid extra for a deluxe room) they put us facing the parking lot, 1st floor... closet also had an awful smell so we couldn't use it.

Yes, here and there it needed renovation work or a little more modern solutions, but since we spent most of the day exploring Portugal, we really liked the hotel. We really liked the location - it's a bit far from the center, but we liked the ocean promenade nearby. The breakfast was average, nothing amazing, but everything you need was available. Very kind and responsive staff. Parking available on the hotel territory, than was a big plus.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We came to celebrate birthday, and this hotel turned out to be the ideal choice. The spacious room with a breathtaking ocean view created a magical atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to all our requests. Special thanks for the warm hospitality on such a special occasion! The hotel is clean, peaceful, and well located. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely come back again.

The staff were helpful I only stayed one night and paid for one night. They helped me a lot. Understood my situation. I think they are doing a great job and it is unfair how the owners are using them as they are nowhere to be found ?
The room was very narrow very dull, the hotplate to heat water was broken. The fridge so old it had rust on it and made so much noise i had to unplug it. I think the bath tub was original about 60 years old.very narrow so impossible for someone of my age and size to risk standing in to have a shower. Imagine falling in such a place? The balcony view overlooked a new building site. and very old car park. A room with a walk in shower would have cost me 30 euro a night more. As it was I had to pay 120 euro for the one night of no sleep . No sound proofing what so ever

The room felt dated, a mix of modern and very old equipment and furniture. Visible signs of wear, needed some repairs. Bonus points for good room size, welcome gift and the pool. Breakfast had plenty of options, although some items were poor quality

The location was optimal.
The staff is racist, they kept stopping me in the hallway and during breakfast to confirm what my room number was but they almost never bother to ask the white folks. Every day i would get ask alteast 4 to 5 times. Also the bottom floor had so many dead cockroaches on the floor and they would be left there for days.

Location, nice views.
You could not access the beach from the hotel, even though the hotel was directly across the street. A lot of maintenance and upkeep is needed. Our room, 207 had leaking through the walls and in the Restaurant area there were buckets catching the water from the rain. I was promised a room upgrade only to be told at check-in that the upgrade had been promised to someone else. There were a few folks who provided excellent customer service but many just felt like they were putting in their days work. There are plenty of other options when visiting this area I would consider others in the future.

It had all of the amenities that we were interested in for our stay. Loved using the pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was solid - not the best that I've ever had, but it hit all of the marks. Rooms were very spacious and the staff added lots of nice touches (welcome note, welcome fruit/dessert/water, welcome drinks) to make us feel welcome. Parking was ample in the off season and location was excellent.
It's an older property that could do with some additional face lifts. They've put money in where it matters, namely the beds and the rooms, but some of the amenities and overall building aesthetics could be improved.

Just employees and breakfast the owners should be ashamed and they should do a lot upgrades on the hotel room
Everything is so old inside of the room and I had a bad allergy I couldnโt sleep the blanked was dusty Iโm sure and the sofa bed that I should have recorded thereโs 100 years and a whole on it is just nasty

Location and price.
The indoor pool was closed. Being worked on. I wanted to swim and could not. They moved us to another hotel but the indoor pool had very dark lighting. We were never refunded the government tax we paid at the first hotel. It was a big mess. Not staying at these hotels again. Plus the parking charged at the 2nd hotel was excessive. It a pleasant experience.
