Well positioned to walk to the city centre. On a main road but not particularly noisy (on the 4th floor, anyway)
There wasn't really anything fundamental but sounds of maintenance/refurbishment work (heavy hammering) went on for quite a while, until by cosmic coincidence a fellow resident and I stamped on the floor simultaneously!

The rooms are very spacious and mine had a nice view of the sea. The bed, pillows and sheets were very comfortable. The bathroom was also large and equipped with a bidet.
The room was next to the elevators, which made it loud at night. The breakfast was adequate, as the coffee was terrible.
Alas, we did not like the paper thin walls and lack of soundproofing on each floor. We asked to be moved the next day after neighbouring family kept talking normally until 2am and you could hear every word. The next day we were moved to two floors up where it was peaceful and nice but i think it was peaceful because luckily we had considerate guests on the same floor.

Staff were wonderful. Old hotel but nicely maintained. Easy walking distance to Old Faro and all its beautiful attractions.
Hotel advertised as "parking included." Well, yes, but I'm glad that he car that I had rented was very small. The provided parking spot is VERY tight. And seeing as I had a rental car where any damages would be paid for by me. I returned the car early.

The reception staff were all friendly and helpful, room was clean, had everything you need, good value, 10 min walk to the centre.
The mattress was too firm for me. I struggled to sleep both nights. Requested a topper which was provided but it was thin and didn’t make much difference. Would have also liked hand wash in the bathroom instead of bars of soap.

First night we stayed we was woken around 11.30pm to unbelievable noise from a group of youths heading for their rooms, shouting, banging and what sounded like dragging furniture across the floor of the room.
Rang down to reception to complain, the noise eventually went quieter but still made it difficult to sleep, the following morning we mentioned it again to reception, who seemed disinterested and said that they were leaving that day. As if that compensated for next to no sleep,
Breakfast 7.30 '10.30 , we went down 8.30 to find that most of the items had not been replenished , and the lady made little effort to do so, tables were not cleared, I have stayed In many BW in the USA but always had a positive experience, alas this visit was a disappointment, on the plus side the location is good, and the room clean.

My friend and I came to Faro for a weekend get away. We arrived too early to check in, but the receptionist recommended a great cafe for breakfast and a few places to visit before check in. Upon check in, the room was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a small coffee/bar where in the evening I would have a glass of wine. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Also very close walk down to the marina. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great value! ? I will be back!

There wasn’t a wheelchair available on the premises. I had recently broken my ankle, and was unable to walk. Since we were flying home the next morning, I had returned my rental wheelchair, only to discover the hotel did not have one. Location easily accessible by car. Also within waking distance to restaurants, old city and tourist centre. Room was clean and updated. From the outside, property looks dated. We liked that the window opened in bedrood. The staff were friendly, provided us with directions and recommendations. We were there off season so we were able to get 1 of the approximately 8 tight parking spots. However, staff pointed out a few public parking locations a few minutes away by foot...likely we did not need to park off site. Good value.
Parking: tight spots, only 8 or so spots for entire hotel.

Had an excellent stay. Staff very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel was relatively convenient to the airport (short taxi ride) and it's just a few blocks to the Faro old town.
Breakfast spread had many options including vegetarian and a few vegan options (e.g. granola with almond milk). Served 7:30 - 10:30.
Shower was hot. Bed comfortable. AC worked well and was quiet.
The building is a bit older but it's kept in very clean condition and the bathroom fixtures appear updated. This was not an issue for me.
The doors are a bit thin so you can hear people moving in the hallway, but not really other rooms. I am a light sleeper and had no issue sleeping.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was modern and in good repair, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and I was provided with gluten-free options per my request.
The immediate neighbourhood looks a bit rundown but is perfectly safe, and is a quick walk to the pedestrianized shopping and restaurant area.
