The hotel was super clean! Coming at the beginning of the season it was also super quiet. Lovely staff! Lucy’s thinking who is the owner is if you are happy she is happy too!
If there was one thing that I have missed in the room it would have been a water kettle but they offered coffee in the mornings.

There was no breakfast, coffee or any snacks available in the hotel, and it’s quite a walk to the town so be prepared with some snacks!

All good, great if youre traveling by car, good parking and just a few minuts from Luz city center and beach. Great place for a base to explore the area. The pool area was very quiet and calm. Good comfortable rooms with fridge and can ask for a kettle. Parasoll that can be borrowed in reception for the beach
There was no breakfast but there are supermarkets in Luz and the room has a fridge so it is manageble. The location can be a little off if you dont have a car

The most friendly owner, she helped us with restaurants and activities, and obviously takes immense pride in her establishment. Bravo! The rooms were spacious, clean, and the pool was our favorite place to end the day with a nice glass of wine.

The pool area is amazing. We used the pool every day. It is beautiful and well maintained.
I appreciated the quiet air conditioner. And fridge in the room.
The housekeeping is quiet frankly amazing. The room always was clean and beautiful.
The property is very peaceful. We sometimes felt like we were the only people there but I know several other guests were present. We enjoyed our ground floor room because it was very easy to go take a dip anytime we wanted.
Like the other comments say, this location is a few feet away from a major road with cars going very fast. Other than that everything was fine, and it doesn't matter that much, you eventually ignore this.

The room was immaculately clean and was cleaned daily. The swimming pool is a decent size, very clean and almost empty most of the time. The manager/ owner was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a 15 minute walk into Luz but it means that you can walk off lunch/ dinner.
I had a problem with my shower flooding the bathroom. It would be worth putting a proper shower door in.

The hotel was immaculate inside and out. The rooms were spacious and had a good size fridge and kettle. The host was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was clean and had plenty of sun beds available. We particularly liked that it was an adults only hotel!

Lovely place close to the centre of the village of Luz and the beach. Fully equipped and a perfect location. Nice to have a swimming pool. The refrigerator in the room is also great, as is the balcony for enjoying the evening sun. The welcome was excellent and we immediately felt welcome and at home. Highly recommended.
What would have been a nice plus is the ability to make coffee in the morning. Not a must of course, but that would have made it even nicer. Other than that, everything was really great!

The balcony with chairs and table, large fridge, good parking, v clean and pleasant pool area with plenty of loungers and shaded seating area well kept garden, spacious room, v large bed, crockery and cutlery, small kettle, pool towels, shelves in bathroom, friendly welcome, solid feel to spacious building, easy 10 minutes downhill to Praia d Luz.
A breakfast option would have made this even better but having the kettle and plates with a Lidl stop meant it was fine. Great to have natural light from a window in bathroom but it did not open for ventilation. Many periods of internet drop out. Less able- bodied may find luggage tricky from car park to front steps and then staircase. Small issues as this was a nice, clean, spacious place to stay.

A few noisy people in a single group with no consideration for others and a villa next door had a party one night and disturbed us.Not the owners fault.She dealt with this immediately.

We had a splendid time at Aurora Sol. Our host, Rui Lopez, was kind and attentive and has a great sense of humor.
The hotel is close enough to town to be able to walk to the beach and shops, but out of the noisy hustle and bustle.
Our room was airy, comfortable and clean and overlooked a peaceful garden.

The pool was a good size and in a nicely sunny spot. It was great to take a dip if the ocean was too cold. The beds were also very comfortable the best we had during our trip (from 4Hotels)!
The room door stuck occasionally and had to be tugged closed firmly otherwise it wouldn't be locked properly. The manager however called during our stay to see about getting it repaired soon - it should be fixed up for the next guests.

The staff was very friendly, and the environment was peaceful and quiet. My room was meticulously cleaned and had a pleasant fragrance. The swimming pool was also clean, and there were plenty of deck chairs available. The location was easy to find, and the parking had ample space. Additionally, there is a nearby restaurant with a great atmosphere that serves breakfast, lunch, and more. The hotel is just a few minutes from the beach by car and serves as a great base for exploring the Algarve from East to West.
Shampoo and gel are not provided in the rooms, which would have been convenient.

The property is a great little find in Luz. It is spotlessly clean, well run and managed by very friendly staff who are extremely helpful in any queries we had. The room was serviced each day and sheets were changed during our one-week stay. There is a small fridge in the room which is handy for cold drinks and they supply cups, plates and cutlery - no wine opener though!!
It is a 15-minute walk to the town - 20 minutes to the promenade, so bear this in mind for drinks and snacks during the day - there is no food offering at this hotel though you can get drinks. There are no local cafe/bars nearby so you will have to walk into the town for supplies. The poolside is excellent with plenty of seats both in and out of the shade and meticulously kept, and the extra bonus for us was that this hotel is adults only which means a nice peaceful poolside - bliss!

Everything was excellent, the rooms were super clean, with daily cleaning provided, the pool was great with a lot of seats around it, and a shadow area to relax.
The location is good, 5-10 mins walking to the beach and city center, in an area with houses. The staff was always friendly and helpful with anything you might need.
I think breakfast would be a great addition in the future if possible.

It was a delight to stay and 10-15 min stroll down to beach.
I bit of road noise in the day but otherwise peaceful relaxing and good value for money.

We were late getting to the accommodation ( issues with getting through passport control at Faro) we were genuinely very warmly welcomed by Rui, the residence was & remained throughout our stay immaculately clean and the level of attention to delivering a great guest experience was excellent - example - it was my birthday when we were there and they presented me with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit as a spontaneous gift was quite heart warming. Could not recommend them more highly - excellent stay
Rui approached us directly and asked if we could recommend any improvements that they could implement to improve guest comfort etc. we suggested that a additional clothes storage unit would be good - he took this on board

The hotel is in a very peaceful location. You can be in Luz or Lagos within a few minutes, but you can also enjoy your quiet evenings at the same time. The hotel is small but cosy; the pool is beautifully maintained. The room is spacious, the bed is one of the biggest we've ever had on holiday! Everything is very clean. We really felt very comfortable here and can warmly recommend it. For an excellent breakfast, visit the Kinoah café - just 3 minutes away.
The fridge in the room is quite loud, take earplugs with you if this could be a problem:)
