Portugal is a country that offers such great foods and what we got at the hotel was instant coffee, scrambled eggs made of powder, very poor choice of fruit and cheese, and there were not vegetables at all except tomatoes which weren't even sliced.

Lack of trash cans, really cheap toilet paper, God forbid you have to blow your nose! I could barely squeeze any soap out and no hair conditioner. You have to buy shower shoes or you might fall in the sloped floor shower. The shower is dangerous without pool shoes!

Would go back just to use the shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is above a very nice restaurant which was very busy. Liked the fact that we were in the town and were able to walk out and look at the water. We also liked the breakfast. The man who checked us in was very helpful. however there needs to be signage telling guest to use the utensils when selecting food items as we noticed people using hands to touch the food.
The room was small and the construction site nextdoor with the bright light shined in our patio door all night. There is no soundproof here so you here all the chairs sliding on the floor and all that is needed is to put some noise reducers on the bottom legs so that you don't hear that late into the night and early morning. We could hear the other guest making noise. There needs to be signage telling guest to use the utensils when selecting food items as we noticed people using hands to touch the food. The photos make the room appear to be larger than it is but the decor is an accurate depiction.

Smoking isn’t permitted in the rooms but smokers use their balcony causing smoke to enter theirs and other rooms having the windows open for the fresh sea breeze. No Smoking on the premises at all would be preferred to allow those staying for the ocean experience not to have to keep windows closed to avoid the toxic smoke entering at all hours.

Wifi is intermittent. Curtains in room had tape on them to cover the holes. No bathroom toiletries, eg soap etc. Would be a 5 start hotel if owners spent a few dollars on maintenance.

The hotel is located right on the boardwalk. Easy walk to the beach and to shops/restaurants. We could see the ocean from our little balcony and we were able to leave the slider open for that soothing ocean wave sound. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, served in a bright, clean dining room. One night we wanted to play cards, so we were directed to a lovely and quiet sitting space. The staff made excellent dinner recommendations. The property is clean and well-kept!

I liked the central location in Nazaré Portugal. I could walk easily to and from the bus station with my luggage. It was right off the main walkway along the beach. Breakfast was very nice. My room was comfortable and I enjoyed the communal balcony at the end of my floor.

The location at the heart of the boardwalk was nice.
To begin with, the room is tiny, it brought back memories of staying in Tokyo in a budget hotel. There is an empty lot right next door that is filled with trash and clutter to look at when viewing the beach front at an oblique angle. On the first floor there is a seafood restaurant so the entire hotel above is infused with "Eau de Poisson". Around midnight the trash truck comes around to empty the giant trash bins located directly across the street (apparently this job requires verbal commands given at a high volume) At 2:30 am the drunks roll out onto the sidewalk and for an hour plus, there is yelling and arguing on the street (the rooms are far from soundproof). Basically, don't plan to sleep if you book a room at this fish palace!

The location is amazing, even if you come without a car. Close to the beach, bus stops, attractions and cliff lift.
The room is a great set up for value, the bathroom is amazing and each room has a mini balcony. The bed was comfy with the right hardness of the mattress.
Breakfast is nothing high maintenance. Good robust with a lot of bread options, cheese, eggs, pastries, ham, tea&coffee, fruit and yoghurt. I must say I am picky and cannot have breakfast without tomatoes, so I brought my own on the first morning. The staff was so vigilant and customer centric they brought us tomatoes from the 2nd day onwards.
Cannot say any negatives about our stay.

The location was incredible! Beautiful views of the beach and ocean. I loved the sound of the waves. The food was very good and the staff was very nice.
There was some moisture in the room but cracking a door resolved the problem.
