Staff behind reception were rude. We asked for two spoons to stir our coffee and they said they would charge us 4 euros. Usually every hotel provides you with spoons. Overall an off putting experience and not worth the hassle. Almost every hotel I’ve stayed at provides either milk or milk sachets. But when we asked for milk at this hotel, they said they would charge us at the full breakfast price, even if we did not eat the breakfast. The hotel staff/ management lack logic, courtesy, manners and hospitality. Would strongly recommend booking various other hospitable hotels in Porto.

The hotel is in an excellent position, 5 minutes walk from Trindade metro station. All of the staff that we encountered were professional, friendly & helpful which helped to made our stay more enjoyable.
Our only small criticism was that the mattress was exceptionally hard which meant neither of us slept well.

Lovely comfortable rooms, warm and welcoming reception. The breakfast was especially good. Dinner on the 17th floor was nice (a bit over priced), staff here however are not as well trained in customer service as the reception/lobby staff. Perhaps they are just tired and over worked. The bar is lovely with a great selection of cocktails. Staff here are lovely also.
Restaurant staff are not very friendly or helpful, one girl in particular really did not want to be there.

And in other I do not understand reason for coffeemaker. To use coffee maker, you need to buy coffee capsule from hotel which cost you additional money (1 capsule per 1 euro). Do not make sense: you can buy good coffee outside from 0.75 euro.

A lovely, traditional style hotel with high ceilings and a gorgeous view from my 11th floor room. I booked a double but was upgraded to a king. I appreciated that my room was ready and I was able to check in early. It's always nice when the hotel can accommodate when your travel plans don't align with check-in times! Hotel Dom Henrique did not disappoint! They also have a magnificent bar on the 17th floor and a restaurant (reservations required) on the 18th, which I didn't try. The lobby was also a pleasant surprise with lots of comfortable seating. Breakfast had indoor and outdoor seating and lots of delicious options. Great-smelling amenities in the bath! Staff was helpful at every turn!!

This was a phenomenal hotel experience. Everything exceeded our expectations. Location was close enough to all of the major attractions and walking distance from the major shopping centers. We were able to easily take the train from the airport to the hotel without difficulty. The view of our apartment was fantastic. I have to say, their breakfast was top tier. It was a buffet with so many health conscious options - granola oat cereal blend with fiber forward options (goji berries, bran sticks, dried fruits) . Theres a multitude of freshly squeezed juice options (watermelon, orange juice, mango juice, peach, etc). Theres a huge selection of toasted bread, scrambled eggs, baked beans, etc etc). I was celebrating my anniversary with my boyfriend and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and cookies. It was such an amazing surprise. We unfortunately were not able to drink most of it because we were so busy for most of the day, but we did have some and it was delicious!! Thank you so much!! (and this is to the hotel: so sorry we couldnt finish it!). I really cant complain. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting porto in a heartbeat. i would definitely be coming back here in the future.
The ONLYY thing I would mention is that their laundry services are quite expensive but I think that may be standard across the hotel industry. I really cant complain otherwise.

The room balcony was a definite plus, as was breakfast. The best part is the 17th floor bar: great view, great drink options, and excellent snack variety. The parking garage next door was also a plus, especially with the hotel discount.
The Wi-Fi was an issue; I could not use either my US phone nor my Portuguese phone; albeit my laptop worked fine. The inability to use my phones within the hotel was an issue.

It was fine but not exceptional. Clean and pleasant. Staff was polite and helpful. Compared to more expensive hotels it was not more than expected.

Location was good near Bolhao Market. Front desk staff were nice and helpful.
The Price Was High And....
Uncomfortable beds. No flat surfaces to put anything - even in bathroom. Hallways too dark. Elevator too dark. This place tries to be hip and fancy and that meant hiding the plugs - which made it hell for me a CPAP user. Shower lacked pressure and leaked. A/C was loud but didn't get things cool.

Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows. Very very professional and courteous staff. Tasty meal on the 17th floor and very accommodating to store bags.

Very central hotel in Porto. We were on the 15th floor with amazing views of the city. The room was fabulous, fridge, coffee machine, living room and a fabulous bathroom. The range of food for breakfast was amazing. We had a meal in the restaurant on the 18th floor which was absolutely fantastic with stunning views across the night sky and superb attentive staff. The bar on the 17th floor has fabulous views and was very good value. Only a few minutes walk to the Trindad Metro with a direct link to the airport.
We loved everything about this hotel.

Hotel staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. Room was clean, quiet, and fitted with everything I needed - full-length mirror, closet, slippers, mini fridge, toiletries, and many others. Elevators were fast and reliable. I liked the lobby area, where I could hang around and wait for my Bolt. I also appreciated that the hotel is a high rise and super easy to spot from afar. I didn't get to try breakfast or their rooftop bar but it seemed nice- would love to try it next time!

On add says breakfast available but as soon as you are the asking for money ,also parking claims available but don’t mentioned you have to pay for it ,carpet in hall way was loos and was going to fell down as well as loos Electrical wires on closet that was dangerous , doors don’t close properly,carpet ,walls, and everything was very old ,Don’t recommend at all .
On website looks good but hotel not kept on good standard so I don’t recommend at all , you can get much better value for your money , have been in few more hotels few weeks prior and this was the worst.

We loved the rooftop bar and restaurant. Most of the staff were friendly but it’s just that one that ruins it for everyone else! And there was one at reception whose vibe was very cold! The others warmth compensated for her icecold reception!
We were charged to store our bikes in a sketchy garage separated from the hotel. That was a first in all of Europe. It’s now part of our narrative for bike packing in Portugal.

Everything was good: location is central, room was very cute, we had a nice view of the city. Breakfast was good.
There is no car park in the hotel - you can park yr car in the paid underground parking in front and it’s rather expensive. Though we were lucky to find a spot near the hotel and we didn’t pay anything until 9 am.
