clean, great location, close to the main market area and promenade, such a helpful front desk for tourist locations, great parking right across the street for low cost - fun entertainment themed room, a little on the small side but manageble, stocked mini fridge. The hotel is in the same building area and attached to the Coliseum stadium that hosts musich concerts etc. Breakfast had warm choices (eggs, baconetc) and the normal cold choices (yogurt, fruit, cereal, cold cuts) in the buffet. Housekeeping even found a necklace I lost there and they are sending it to me. Update- they did send me the necklace, it arrived a week after I they found it..what great service I am really surprised they found it. That means it is a hotel run by a good team!

Location was great to access the wonderful city of Porto. The themes running from the colliseum next door were a nice touch. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was very continental but more than sufficient and fresh served in the rooftop terrace overlooking the city.
The only issue we had was that the shower water temperature was often luke warm at best. Staff were attentive to this and tried to sort but think it was as s consequence of the water pump infrastructure to the upper floors.

A couple of nights there were functions next door which were very loud at 6am (not the hotels fault at all) it was quite noisy, luckily we could keep the windows shut to keep out most of the noise as the aircon was good

The main room had twin beds which is what l requested, a closet with safe, dressing table and another tv, this room was also large and spacious.

Breakfast was a minimal affair and the coffee always luke warm. If you like a good nights sleep, this is not the place for you! The hotel is sandwiched between and concert venue and a nightclub that doesn’t open until 00:00 and goes on till past 06:00 - the noise, shouting/screaming, revving cars and blasting horns cannot be blanked out. Even though the hotel complain police do nothing. Came home so tired from lack of sleep and really hard beds. Shame.

It was a bit noisy, thanks to the nightclub next door and general street noise. Breakfast was only OK (mass-produced pastries etc.) It's reasonably well-located, but other areas are better in my opinion.

The hotel is located next to a nightclub, and unfortunately, the poor quality of the windows made it difficult for us to sleep at night. The noise from the street and the crowd was easily audible in our room. Additionally, the WiFi was oddly connected to the TV, meaning you had to turn on the TV to use the internet. Despite its convenient location near the city center, I would not recommend this hotel.

location is nice as very close to touristic activities by walking only. we spent 1 day in porto and walked to everywhere. overall very mediocre hotel. it is suitable for couple of nights stay not for long term. the photos are same as the hotel itself.
our room was small so maybe they have bigger rooms. our room has no private room for bathroom. the sink, the shower and the toilet are at the room itself only seperated with a glass door. i stayed with my husband and for one night so it was not a big deal but if you are staying more nights or a friend/couisin not partner i think it is a big no. suggest you to check this with hotel first cause from pictures we didnt understand the concept apperently.

The location was great, it's within the walking distance from all main attractions. Also, i liked the fact that you can enter the hotel with the entrance card only.
Twin room pictures are not giving you the full view of the room. I'd suggest the hotel to update twin room pictures, so that it would portray a realistic view of the room - there's is a toilet and shower just 20cm away from the bed behind the glass sliding door. You can hear everything...
The bed mattress!! The worst I have ever slept in in my entire travelling experience, literally you could feel the springs through your whole body while laying in bed.
The hotel is in front of the club/restaurant, we couldn't barely sleep during the night as our windows were facing the street.
The breakfast is very poor, for protein you get only boiled eggs. The rest is sweets and buns.

It is lovely place when you get inside the hotel. From Outside you don’t realize there is a hotel in there, unless if you pay attention on the signs. It is a busy location and avoid to park in there it is very congested area. Inside it is a nice hotel . Each floor has a theme based on the Coliseum theatre history. Our room was great and we loved stayed in there.. very well located and it is a walk distance to all the attractions in Porto
There was a little issues with the water that goes outside the bathtub area.. it looks like the bath door doesn’t seal well. We have to through towels on the floor to keep it dry

Location is exceptional. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Very clean room indeed. We'd love to have a more English-style breakfast but it was quite varied and well presented.
Toilet and shower should be secluded from the room by a lights-out door. When someone uses either one, he’d need to light up the whole room. AC cooling works only in summer!!! A kettle should be added.

Location was good. Rooftop breakfast location was nice and food was ok. The room was big.
The lobby smells moldy. The beds feel like you’re sleeping on box springs (we literally checked if we were). Even though the hotel description said A/C in rooms, what they don’t say is that it’s seasonal,so we had to sleep with open windows. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but the hotel is across the street from a bar/nightclub that starts lining up at around midnight. The raucous noise of party goers would last until about 5AM.

The location is excellent in that it is very central St Caterina Street. Unfortunately I did not realise that Caterina Street has discos and pubs which stay open at the weekends until 6.00 am. The noise was incredible all night until we got up for early morning flight. So no sleep all night. I think very expensive. Staff guy this morning very nice and apologised for the noise but can do nothing about it.
Do not go there weekend or Monday night, another no sleep night

We were upgraded from a standard room. The room was large with a separate sitting area with a couch, coffee table, and TV. The bathroom had a spa bath. This was the musical room.
A free yummy breakfast overlooking Porto was delightful.
Reception assisted with information during some stressful times re our cruise booking. They even phoned the travel company as we didn't have international roaming. We can not thank you enough.

Great location for the city.
Parking opposite the hotel.
Room was very small. Strange layout of the toilet and shower. Mattress hard.
Wash basin in the room and frosted glass doors that were pretty see through.
On paying we had a disagreement about the credit card payment.
If you are offered to accept GBP or Euro choose Euro and then decline the conversion. Otherwise you get charged by their conversion rate and a 5% surcharge, This was not explained. It seems that this is rife in Portugal. So be aware.
We were only there one night.

The location was very convenient as it was in the center of the city. The staff was friendly, discreet and willing to help.
The bathroom was extremely inconvenient as the shower, the sink and the toilet were separated from each other. Also, the wifi signal was on, only when the tv was on, which was not practical. The breakfast was really poor for the price of the hotel.

Room was much more luxurious than I expected. Huge bathtub (I was in a suite). Breakfast was good, but the exact same both days. Close walking distance to many sites.
The only thing I would recommend is that if you are staying on a weekend, request to be at the back of the building. Street side was quite noisy one of the nights.

Superb Location and rooms were stylish.
NO SOUND PROOFING and parties every night till 6am. Our group of 6 people in 4 rooms couldn't sleep any night but Sunday. This hotel is near a night club and screaming rowdy people outside. They partied with amplified music until dawn. That isn't the problem of the hotel, but the lack of sound proofing preparation for it IS THEIR PROBLEM. Or more clearly, it is our problem for daring to book it.
I'm 47 years old, so I'm not an old Grandma complaining about a few kids having fun. Full nightclub thumping base until the break of dawn is unacceptable.

Daniel was terrific and the other tall light haired receptionist was also so helpful. Daniel stuff out as we saw him two shifts... He was kind and friendly and polite and just a great representation of the hotel. We must say all the receptionists jumped up to help everytime. The unfortunate piece was the needs were very very hard and uncomfortable and that really made fur a bad stay. Unfortunately I would but come back simply for that reason. The breakfast was great location was supreme but if you don't get a good night's sleep it's all ruined. So . Try and get softer mattresses if you can. The room was nice size
I wrote that above .. Only the beds hard as a rock and I forgot to mention Friday's and Saturday are party nights.. Three clubs in the block...and it's very very very loud on the streets keeping us up or waking us up..and disgusting in the morning from the vomit still there.
Also . The lack of privacy with the shower being see through and right in the room and the toilet right there as well was uncomfortable
