Hotel WOT is well situated as all major attractions of Porto are reachable by foot. On the other hand, the hotel is located in the nightlife center of the city so it can get quite noisy in the evening and throughout the night especially on weekends. The property has no double glazing windows so if you are a light sleeper it will affect you.
A huge thumbs up to the very kind and helpful staff, they always had a beaming smile.
Lastly, the Breakfast is very simple as there yet good and if you are not fussy about it, it will be mote than enough.
Whilst comfortable, the hotel offers the very basic. Overall the property is outdated and whilst refurbishment works have been carried it definitely needs way more.

This is an older hotel that has recently been renovated in many areas. At breakfast (which was included in the price), I could detect the mix of older faithful clientele and the new clientele that has been attracted since the hotel was renovated. About 5 minutes walk from Trindade subway station, the hotel is well located in the heart of the city. Every one working there was kind and helpful - as usual, Tripeiros (people from Porto) at their best! They even offered a delicious pastel de nata pastry when I checked out.

The only thing going for this hotel was the staff were pleasant.
Where do I start, first this hotel is very dated, like going back to 1970's. Our room 101 was in front of the building and the noise level coming up from the street during the night was very loud and then at 4.30am the bin lorries arrived, so we got no sleep. In fairness staff were understanding and moved us to a room at the back on 2nd floor and it was very quiet. But when I went to use hairdryer it was disastrous, it would only work for about 1 minute then cut off and way for about 3 mintues and it would come back on for 1 minute. I found the whole decor of hotel depressing, so would not recomend.
