2 mi from Praia Grande Beach and Vau Beach. There are many restaurants and bars within a few minutes’ walk, while activities in the surrounding area include water sports, boat trips and dolphin-watching trips. Indoor car parking is available for a surcharge and upon reservation.
The hotel features a sea-inspired décor and a pool that is heated and covered during winter. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Recently renovated, the hotel offers air-conditioned guest rooms equipped with a mini-bar, satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a free safe with deposit and free Wi-Fi.

The location was spot on! Directly opposite the beach and in the centre of everything. Tea, coffee and fridge in the room. Breakfast buffet was a great selection and good quality. The evening buffet was amazing in every respect. Our balcony had a side view of the sea. We tried to upgrade on checkin but there was no availability, however after seeing the room we realised that we didn't need an upgrade. The staff are wonderful and so welcoming and accommodating. They go over and above.

I had a great time with my family for 1 week. Close to shops and restaurants and, more importantly, close to the beach. Staff is highly efficient, great food, gorgeous spa, everything super clean. I will definitely go back soon.
the only negative is something tiny, the elevator is slow and most of the time we got tired to wait and used the stairs to go to the 3rd floor.

Seriously, the place is amazing from the food till the service! The fact that is considered a 4 star hotel, is beyond me.
2 things: the gym equipment were quite old since the era of Arnold was Mr. Olympia. It needs to be updated and lastly, the depth of the main pool is too low and shallow for my liking.

one small point was the service at the hotel bar was slow in the evening. Only one person serving drinks. so your order is taken and you wait your turn but if you only want one pint or a soft drink you have to wait while endless cocktails are made. wanted just one pint and cancelled it after waiting 20min. Not staff's fault, they need to change the system.

I find the Spa one of the best that I have experience, it was clean, the water temperatures was just enjoyable good value for money and would visit again just to enjoy the spa and the lovely massage

First I want to say: Thank you Jupiter Algarve Hotel for a really nice stay. Jupiter Algarve Hotel is located alongside the Rocha Beach, which is a lovely, very clean beach. We booked a double room with a front sea view and the balcony, breakfast included. Our room was upgraded to the higher floor room as I requested with no extra charge. We got 10% voucher to use in the hotel restaurant and SPA . The room was beautiful with the coffee machine, the kettle and the free coffee pods and the tea bags. The balcony was good sized, sea view was exceptional. The room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable. We got the free access to the outdoor heated pool. We are vegetarian and we don’t eat fish as well, but we have not been disappointed at the breakfast buffet. We had a plenty of choices. We also had a dinner twice in the evening at the hotel restaurant. It was in the form of buffet as well. The selection of food suitable for us was really good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff in all hotel was really nice, friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in a great location. Just minutes walk from the beach. The hotel is also very close to many restaurants, bars and shops. We came as a family and stayed over Christmas, we really appreciate the outdoor pool which was covered for the kids. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. I especially liked the chef cooking eggs to your liking. The bar staff and reception staff were extremely accommodating. A special mention to Marcelo who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Variety of food in the breakfast buffet. The fact of having an outdoor swimming pool with warm water. How close to the hotel the beach is.
Perhaps some more light in the bedroom would be nice to have. There is an AC unit unit in the bedroom, but when we take a shower ( during the winter time), it will take some time for the moisture to go away without mechanical ventilation in the bathroom.

This is my 3rd time at Jupiter Algarve and I just love everything about it. So clean, friendly and right on the doorstep of an amazing beach. The staff are very friendly especially Marcello. He remembered me from my last visit and looked after us with lovely food and drinks. He should be promoted to manager as he is simply outstanding and works extremely hard ????

Have to pay extra to use spa facilities ( like pool, jacuzzi etc). The main pool is a bit small for a busy period.. Have different types of music on different days for entertainment.

I liked how close it was to beach and our balcony with a seaview was amazing! Receptionists were lovely and the breakfast exceeded my expectations
Our room was cleaned on the first day but on the second day- only the sheets were pulled up. I understand it was my fault for the room being messy but it felt as though no housekeeping came at all. Example- towels in bathroom/ empty water bottles not removed or replaced

The property was spotless. The staff from reception, breakfast and bar staff and cleaners were just so friendly, kind and helpful. Hotel room was beautiful with amazing views of the beach. Location was great and walking distance to everything.
Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had with delicious choices to suit everyone.

You can’t beat the location right across from the beach with ocean views from the balcony. Convenient parking garage. If your main goal is being near the beach, this place is great!
Not sure if it’s normal everywhere in Portimao, but lots of flies on our balcony at certain times of the day. The pool and the elevators are clearly under-sized for the hotel. It was like the Hunger Games getting chairs at the pool and we spent ridiculous amounts of time waiting on the elevator. With our room on the 5th floor, the stairs were not a viable alternative with two small children. Not sure how many rooms there are, but the hotel only has two elevators that seemed constantly busy. If you’re aiming for family-friendly, there are better options in the area.

Great location in Portimão, close to the beach and surrounded by a lively atmosphere with many families.
Stayed for six nights. The breakfast breads were not fresh, and the coffee from the three automated machines was poor. Parking was expensive, with the address not clearly marked. Additionally, reaching the hotel entrance required a code, which wasn’t provided beforehand. The beds were uncomfortable, and the room felt cramped after a third bed was added, leaving almost no space to move. The Wi-Fi connection was also weak throughout our stay.

Location is outstanding (beach front) with lots of restaurants walking distance. The hotel breakfast was excellent with a variety of food. The room was able to accommodate our family of 4. Most staff were friendly and helpful.
No available parking at the hotel, ended up parking in a nearby lot. Also a few staff members were outright rude. It was evident they didn’t want to be there and they took it out on our family. Hoping it was an off day for them.

Excellent location just a couple minutes walk to a big beautiful beach and located alongside lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. Hotel offered towels we could take to the beach and we could also exchange daily for fresh towels.
