The room was comfortable for 2 people, great A/C especially at this time of the year. What I loved the most was the incredible, tasty and varied breakfast buffet. It's something that hotels in the Western hemisphere should emulate. Staff was quite friendly and supportive during our stay.
Parking is quite challenging at this time of the year, as the hotel does not provide with it. You have to find parking on the street, which is free of charge, but again, hard to find during high season.

The beach was nice. Bedrooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bedroom staff very pleasant. Restaurant manager always had a smile.
The hotel was like a hostel. seating area was roped off for tours,which ment other residents had to sit on hard plastic chairs which were limited.
No residents bar except a cupboard behind reception that ran out off sodas, wine and beer. No restaurant only a buffet menu.
Lift could only accommodate 2 people at a time, therefore when tours arrived you had to wait in a que. Double bedroom had only 1 chair which ment sitting on the bed. No sun beds around the pool due to being out off season ? Very disappointing! would question the 4 star rating.?

The room was not exactly as I saw on the picture but still have sea view and the gym was only available after 8am which doesn't make sense since is a small gym and without supervision so could allow the people go there earlier than 8am.

The location was great, staff were friendly and professional. Manager was wonderful and has brilliant ideas. Sure it will be upgraded to 5 stars soon. Then the breakfast was amazing with such a choice. Breakfast staff cleared pots away without any fuss and wiped the chairs as well as the tables.

Very well situated hotel in Quarteira, close to the beach, supermarkets, etc. Breakfast was included in the price and was reasonably good, while the star attraction was the honeycomb. I stayed off-season and got a good price. Overall a pleasant experience.

When we were trying to check in at 12 because we arrived earlier (you cannot always predict it), we've been told it's not possible and we need to come back at 15. Fair enough, those are your rules althout typically I was able to check in earlier in all other hotels (3, 4, 5 stars). When we came back at 15 we got our key and of course, as soon as we walked in, the room wasn't ready, it was a mess and everything was dirty!
They've cleaned the room in like 30 minutes (a waste of our time), but forgot to refill some of the standard amenities that should've been there. I didn't even want to be bothered to ask for it as it was already frustrating.
No compensation was offered, and I think that a hotel such like this should always offer something in return for not providing thr standards they should

We stay here frequently and the staff are what makes the hotel. Location is great, it's well staffed and surface clean , spacious and comfortable
It's starting to look a bit dated and tired. Doors were missing from our wardrobes, no big drama except no mirror for dressing. The toilet in room 404 consistently over fills through the night - noisily - until you fiddle with the broken button.
The hotel would benefit from a revamp.

The hotel is in the best position, as it's 2 mins walk to the beach, and across the road from the bus station. Fares are cheap for a day out to loule (market is on Saturday there) also uber is very good. Quarteria market is on Wednesday, about 15 mins walk up the road. The hotel staff are amazing, always ready to help, and the rooms are lovely, modern, and clean. We were upgraded to one of the penthouse rooms, which had a jacuzzi, I highly recommend getting this if you can, as it absolutely made my birthday celebrations. The hotel is clean, clean towels were offered daily, the pool is private, and the breakfast buffet was beautiful. It had a wide selection of everything. I will definitely stay here again.

A wee relaxing treat on our around Portugal stay.the views were stunning, great value and a special thank you to the housekeeper and team due to the room being cleaned then outdoors beeping messed up my seagulls. Happy to reclean without us asking . Friendly but professional.
We had an early check out. Receptionist had booked 2 breakfast boxes but these weren’t allowed to b delivered to room. Went to collect but night porter knew nothing of this so we had to leave at 5 am hungry although breakfast included. Disappointing. Also sad to see the rundown properties when looking from the balcony, though this is no fault of the hotel.

The room was dark. The hallway carpet needed to be replaced. The entire building had a musty smell to it. The bathroom, more than anything else, was in desperate need of an update. The shower was practically unusable. When the shower head was turned on, if you didn’t hold it in your hands it sprayed water all over the room.
