I travel frequently, and this was by far one of my best experiences. I was graciously upgraded to a stunning three-bedroom apartment. The panoramic views of the Gulf and Corniche were breathtaking. The apartment featured a full-size kitchen equipped with everything I could possibly need. The service was attentive. Location is ideal providing easy access to all major attractions.

The hotel is newly opened so the pool was under construction still.

The size of the room

The room was spacious and furnished with a comfortable bed and generously sized sofa. The bathroom came with a vanity table and nice amenities. I had dinner at the Salt Road restaurant which I recommend because of it’s creative approach to an underestimated ingredient. The entire hotel seemed to be nicely organized and clean. The Qatari inspired design is implemented nicely.

The hotel seemed quite empty and I felt a bit forlorn in the vast property. Never met another guest in the common areas during my short stay (1 night only). The music in the Hawker restaurant was ridiculously loud (luckily there was a more civilized atmosphere in the other restaurant on the premises). The toilet was a „downsized“ Japanese version which was lit at night but didn’t quite work.

The hotel lacks basic sports and recreational facilities such as table tennis, billiards, tennis, chess, or carroms, which would have added some much-needed entertainment options for guests. Additionally, the swimming pool hours could be improved—extending access into the night would enhance the overall guest experience, especially for those who prefer to swim in the evening.

This was my second stay at Andaz Doha, and once again it was outstanding. The room was modern, stylish, and very well designed with everything easy to use and within reach. It was spotless clean, which made the experience even more comfortable. The room was perfectly quiet — both inside and with the air conditioning, which worked flawlessly without a sound. Special thanks to Duty Manager Julia for her exceptional attention and hospitality. I would also like to thank the wonderful spa receptionists, Agustina and Nassira, as well as my therapist Ann — their professionalism and warmth made the spa experience truly outstanding. Location is good though the hotel exit is miserable and confusing.

Does not live to the hype or meet any expectations. Slow service. Weird inconsistent facilities. The reception staff do not even put in the effort to meet the guest’s expectations. Security staff are messy and pushy for no reason (apparently having a traveller’s bidet constitutes an emergency to drag the guest out of their room and back in the lobby to check their baggage). The bed is uncomfortable, the pillows are soft and dated (and I can swear one had the smell of urine). You call for extra towels, none get sent. You call for water, you get a weird response like you’re not supposed to. You take a shower (not even a hot one), fire alarm sounds a single ring, room electricity gets shut off and you have to wait for the staff to come and light everything up (and it takes them a while, so if it were a true fire, the time factor is gone I guess). You cannot control the blinds. The electrical wiring in the room means you either get all lights on, or none. The collection of TV channels is poor to say the least. The pool gets one hour of sunshine tops. The restaurant staff were literally lost. The head server (cant remember his name, probably for the best) was so rude on my last day just because I walked in 30 minutes before the buffet was to close, he literally was throwing the dishes on my table rather than serve them. Its just a disappointment. Never again.

Everything fantastic A wonderful and very comfortable bed, very comfortable pillows, a great bathroom, and a fast-drying hairdryer. I only wish they would replace the toilet, which is similar to a Japanese-style toilet and difficult to use. I'd prefer a bidet instead to make the bathroom truly complete.

All is fantastic I was impressed by the reception staff; they were kind, helpful, and ready to assist with any request. The gate attendants were also very helpful and courteous in handling luggage. I was pleased with everything, and thank you to everyone.
