I liked the location of the hotel, near the Souq and the museum, the view, the spaciousness of the room.

I didn't like the reception-staff handling our check-in when we came in. We didn't feel welcomed by the staff and the whole check-in procedure lasted very long, the reception-staff acted very chaotic. What I also didn't like was the fact that there were construction-work being done during our stay. I totally understand that work must be done, and the hotel needed a bit of updating to be honest, but we weren't informed about the construction-work in the hotel, so we weren't able to, for example use the swimming-pool on the top-floor and make use use of the bar. If I knew this I would have booked another hotel in Doha.
